21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some long term projects for holding? on: August 12, 2021, 09:40:58 PM
If you're still confused about what to invest in, come back and learn some more. there is google that you can use well to dig up information related to the crypto world and potential coins. learn the fundamentals and technicals, share a lot of information about this. I think this is better than asking random other people's opinions, everyone will have different views, especially if someone offers you a gray project.
the safest, for the long term with great potential is to hold BTC, you only need to apply which investment strategy is suitable, strengthen your mentality, and be patient in facing high market fluctuations.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Campaign Token on: August 11, 2021, 11:55:45 PM
~
Well yes technically due to the location on where the promotion happens. In social media, you don't expect a lot of people to know about NFTs, DeFis, ICOs, IEOs, etc. Here in the forum which is crypto focused primarily to Bitcoin, expect many people are aware of any of those terms I mentioned previously.
Potential investors are sure to be lower in social media regardless of how many people are using those sites right now.
besides that, the task in social media campaigns is also not too difficult and the conditions are easy. Regarding allocation, it all depends on the decision of the devs and the bounty manager. where they want to focus, of course with social media they will reach more common people, after all nowadays it is getting viral or many are reposting, retweeting, etc. to be one of the benchmarks for market acceptance. especially posted by influential accounts.
The important thing is that we join this bounty comfortably, as needed, if we can join both, social media and signatures can give you more benefits right.
What is clear is that we must be consistent and disciplined, work according to the rules and always update the latest information so that our hard work is not in vain.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy Bitcoin? on: August 11, 2021, 08:40:11 PM
You can possibly purchase a bit of it. If you don't have the money to purchase a single Coin. I can confidently tell you that Bitcoin won't fail you. But getting into the Crypto world without having full knowledge about how it works won't be a good idea. Firstly, you have to build your knowledge about Cryptocurrency, there are a lot of articles, youtube videos online that will definitely help you in knowing how Bitcoin works. How to purchase bitcoin then won't be a problem. Another important thing is that bitcoin Investment requires patience.
knowledge is the first thing we should invest in. Moreover, cryptocurrency is a new thing that is quite tricky in my opinion, if we come and join without preparing, especially just mentally wanting to make a quick profit then it can end up sad. we must know well what we are going to invest, and this can only be done by doing in-depth analysis, a little research to see how much opportunity you can get, to also determine whether this is the right time to buy or not. because cryptocurrencies are very volatile, price movements are easy to change, if you are not mentally prepared it will be easy to get carried away by the market.
invest in crypto when you are ready, make it as you want. learn a lot first so you can decide to determine, whether buying bitcoin is now profitable or not.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still have thoughts of picking Gold over Bitcoin, read this. on: August 11, 2021, 08:16:57 PM
actually comparing crypto to physical assets is very useless. no matter how profitable a crypto coin is, there will always be a risk of dumping, missing, not being recognized, wallet hacking, etc. if you don't have the readiness to face that risk, it will be very risky, whatever crypto coins you hold.
while gold, has been legally recognized, exists in physical form, and is official. not wise to compare the two, each has advantages and disadvantages, I always remind that the risk in crypto is greater.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There are three kinds of people in the Bitcoin world on: August 10, 2021, 09:34:38 PM
--

I think there are more Bitcoin opportunists in the forum. What is your opinion on this? Which one do you think you are?
Becoming an opprtunist requires technical and fundamental market analysis skills, as well as experience. it is not easy for some people, including me, and I seem to be more inclined towards the faithist group. I plan to consistently implement the DCA strategy, trying to buy crypto assets consistently for long term investments. with DCA, very helpful for people like me who are not very good at analyzing the market.
well, whatever it is, as long as we understand the risks, study carefully the strategies that suit our abilities, there will always be opportunities for profit.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC exist without Fiat? on: August 10, 2021, 09:04:49 PM
-- Disagree, ignore the basic features and nature, maybe both will serve opposite goals and are incompatible with each other but the standard of value is still the addition of fiat to bitcoin, more precisely, you can use many different currencies to exchange a product but the regulation of value is still based on that currency, it means bitcoin will have no value without a specific yardstick like fiat. Besides, bitcoin wants to go to alternative steps and establish a new order, it also needs to hold the original image of fiat and banks, fiat is a mirror for bitcoin to look at and repair
this is very reasonable, after all if we don't use fiat then what do we use when we want to buy bitcoin? the local exchange must provide a fiat pair that is valid in that country to be bought directly into btc or other cryptocurrencies. so please stop comparing them, both have their own function. Cryptocurrencies in general are very good, faster and more effective, without a third party, giving a lot of freedom, but on the other hand it is very dependent on technology and the internet, when it is not available then fiat and paper money are the solution. so the two complement each other, there is a quote that says if you can use both, why should you choose?
just use it wisely as needed
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future money! on: August 10, 2021, 08:31:49 PM
if we say, bitcoin is the currency of the future, we can say yes, because we can see bitcoin continues to grow, and many of us have adopted bitcoin, even large companies have accepted bitcoin, and there are governments that have legalized bitcoin, but we need to realize bitcoin cannot replace central money, fiat currency..
No matter how effective bitcoin is for dealing with financial problems, it will not completely replace fiat. firstly bitcoin cannot be fully controlled by the government, secondly the uneven development in all corners of the world makes many limitations related to the operation of cryptocurrencies which are highly dependent on technology. the government might make adjustments to digital money, which is more user-friendly and easier to monitor.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About the popularity of Bitcoin on: August 10, 2021, 08:08:39 PM
Blind and elderly people have difficulties in doing many things, dealing with bitcoin is the smallest of the problems they face in their daily life. These people have the support of caregivers for all their needs, what I believe may include dealing with bitcoin if someday it becomes a necessity.
~
let alone people with special needs and the elderly, even ordinary people definitely need time to use crypto. for most people, using crypto is quite difficult because there are many things to learn, from basic knowledge of crypto, how to exchange money from fiat to crypto, withdrawals to making fiat again, this is quite complicated and takes time to learn.
so no matter how effective crypto is in facing the challenges of financial problems in the modern era, we still need paper money, instant payments, for ordinary people, yes ... so fiat and crypto will complement each other, not replace each other.
29  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial freedom and success comes from knowledge on: August 09, 2021, 11:38:06 PM
You did the right thing, now you need to wait and do everything that is possible with minimal risks. All the same, the market makes it possible to earn even if you cannot invest your money directly.
It seems to me that there is a possibility that we will descend to the $ 24,000 levels, we have been standing still for too long. In addition, if someone is good with money, it does not mean that he knows a lot, because he could just be lucky.
there is always a way if we want to try. and we still have the opportunity to invest even though we do not own or do not issue capital directly. that's what I did, by joining the bounty campaign and airdrop. little by little i collect and hold eth, this is my favorite coin. now also many job offers offering salary in crypto. the point is we have to be flexible and be able to maximize our ability to be able to earn money from here, everyone has a different path to success, so let's try to find that path to success
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paper money vs Digital currency on: August 09, 2021, 11:22:44 PM
Paper money is getting old day by day. We are in a completely new era now. We are living in a digital world. People have started to use credit cards etc. more than paper money from now on. Because it is easier to carry and you don't need to calculate anything while you are making a payment. You just hand over the card and actually you don't even need to do it either. Now we can use contactless cards which makes things much easier for us.

And in the future, I think that we will stop using paper money for good and start using only digital currencies.
that's how civilization works, many changes occur with the development of technology. even now purchase transactions can be done with just a barcode scan, so many are taking advantage of e-wallet or e-banking. especially during this pandemic which makes us have to reduce physical touch with other people or objects that have the potential to transmit the virus.
Currently, cryptocurrency has not been fully accepted, the main obstacle is that it is decentralized, cannot be fully controlled by the state, that is the reason. but I believe one day cryptocurrency will become a very effective payment alternative, the government could improvise by making its own crypto currency.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you rather buy for the long term right now...BTC or ETH? on: August 06, 2021, 10:24:23 PM
Actually, you don't need to bother choosing which one of the two, because both are very potential with great market power and confidence. I often collect eth from bounty rewards, yes... we all know that most projects are built on the ethereum network, so I often collect eth for gas fees as well as assets. So when the gas price increased some time ago, I wasn't worried because I also got it at a low price before yesterday's little bullrun. btc is also full of surprises, so it can't be missed. isn't there an option to choose both? Grin
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven? on: August 06, 2021, 10:15:59 PM
I also think so, saving money on bitcoin is the right choice because bitcoin is decentralized and has a very good level of security.
Bitcoin is a very promising crypto currency, therefore we must have patience when the market is experiencing a slump in order to avoid losses.
Investors often benefit from investing in bitcoin as opposed to investing in gold or depositing money in a bank, which is why they say saving money in bitcoin is safer and more profitable.
the odds are good, but we still have to consider the risk factors. We all know that the price of btc is very volatile. so don't go all in, consider dividing your portfolio, make sure you also divide your basic needs for living and for investment, separate them well so you can be more comfortable living them. I always remind you that if you are ready to make a profit in investing in crypto, you must also be prepared to lose, many surprises that you could not even predict before. that's why I can't say that btc is a full save haven, because the risk is big due to its high volatility.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin in the highest level of trust? on: August 06, 2021, 10:03:32 PM
because everyone knows that this business has such a high level of freedom that bitcoin gives to its investors.so it attracts many enthusiasts, especially beginners to invest in the crypto world, with this we are easier when we don't want to invest anymore then we can release it back on the stock market, maybe that's what makes bitcoin enthusiasts very interested in this investment
Moreover, bitcoin has existed for a decade, the history of its price development is very promising. Initially many were less trusting and ignored, as time went on bitcoin proved that it was valuable and functional. over time, it made the market confidence continue to increase, even without the transparency of the dev team. more evidence than bullshit.the more adoption of large companies that plan to accept payments with btc further increase market confidence. this is proof that btc is "safe", not as scary as it is often reported, as long as its users are willing to learn well how to protect and use their assets.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin worth so much? on: August 06, 2021, 09:43:27 PM
It is similar to asking why Amazon is the biggest brand in eCommerce, or asking why Tesla is so big in the EV sector. With Amazon and Tesla, they were the first established brands in their respective fields. And there is always an advantage for being the first. There were a few proposals for cryptocurrency even before Bitcoin. Hashcash is an example (was in active circulation until 1997). But none of them found any acceptance from the users. Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency that could be established with global acceptance.
being first is special. Moreover, bitcoin offers many solutions in finance, starting from its fully decentralized nature, giving its users the freedom to be independent in managing their money without third parties, transparent, etc. on the other hand it backfires because the government cannot control and supervise it fully.
in fact, ordinary people would think that there is only one cryptocurrency, namely btc, even though there are many coins and tokens. because of the attachment of the cryptocurrency image with btc.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is more real than money in the Bank on: August 05, 2021, 10:56:38 PM
maybe it would be too much to conclude that bitcoin is more real than money in the bank because at this time bitcoin also still has many shortcomings that have not reached the same point as real money, maybe because there are several factors such as bitcoin has not been fully adopted by the people many and also bitcoin is currently still widely banned from various countries in the world. but we are also optimistic that bitcoin will be able to match real money
Although bitcoin has several advantages and privileges compared to fiat and the system in banks, there are still many obstacles that cannot be resolved. ok, bitcoin is very potential for investment, for payments it is quite effective because it is not limited by space and time, but on the other hand, the use of bitcoin is very dependent on the internet, if the network is not available then you will face big difficulties. on the other hand, banks provide clear guarantees for your assets, even though we have to pay dearly with personal data and all our activities that can be monitored centrally, but at least if we are not ready to have a "own bank" with crypto then banks provide a better choice .
well, this is my opinion, there are definitely opposing opinions on this, it doesn't matter, as long as we can choose which one is best for us.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some are still loosing money in crypto on: August 05, 2021, 10:42:32 PM
Losing mommy is part of any business, sometimes you will make a mistake, sometimes you will make a good decision but the market will simplyjust go against you. So i dont always take it to heart when i make a loss in the cryptocurrency markets because i am confident in my ability to make back everything i have lost and more.
I recommend you pay alot of attention to knowledge of how cryptocurrency works
very wise opinion. however we must take lessons from losses or mistakes, evaluate them and then improve on the next steps so as not to experience the same bad. sometimes getting a loss is an important lesson, I have experienced this, I used to enter the market very often without analysis, only based on feeling, and you know for sure what happened, yes... I often lose. after that I was determined to learn market analysis from my experienced friends.
Mental and psychic will also be tested, so we must be able to handle the worst risks, the crypto world is full of surprises.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If all crypto users to KYC on: August 05, 2021, 10:02:22 PM
It is possible that this is our future. Alas, we are moving towards a more regulated crypto market than we are now.
Exchanges have to adjust to regulators, otherwise they may lose their license and provide services. I do not think that decentralized solutions will die out over time, but rather more centralized ones.
local exchanges that provide fiat valid in my country do require kyc, this is also directly related to bank accounts. I have no problem with this as long as the service is good, because I also have nothing to hide.
There are pros and cons to this matter. For those who really like decentralization, they will definitely feel disturbed by the KYC terms, he said, destroying the essence of decentralization, that's the right of each. there are still various ways to disguise our identity, after all there are many decentralized exchanges that offer complete freedom without kyc.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot??? on: August 05, 2021, 09:47:49 PM
In the following years NFT will become very popular, many business industries will look to NFT as an attraction, as we know NFT has penetrated the world of sports, music, art collections, and even games have used NFT with its play to earn concept. Axie infinity is one of the most popular NFT games.
so far i have not thought to invest with nft. actually very interesting because the price that can be achieved is fantastic, you must know that the auction of one of the works of art that was excited. well, the price of nft is indeed very difficult to predict and depends on the tastes of the market enthusiast, especially if it has artistic value or certain features. the rarity and originality that are carried give it an appeal.
i only collect nft from airdrop, haven't thought to buy it directly.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not invested then do it now... on: August 05, 2021, 08:21:44 PM
Investing in bitcoin needs capital. If you have it and you are open on any posible outcome then invest now and also remember invest how you can afford to lose because investment really comes a risk.
this is the important point, many people are ready to profit from the investment, but are not ready to risk the loss. but profit and loss go hand in hand. so before starting to invest anything with money, we must invest with knowledge first. knowledge will make us wiser in determining strategies, not just placing open and close positions, so there is better consideration, not just joining in and getting carried away by the market.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you protect your Bitcoin from market volatility? on: August 05, 2021, 07:53:40 PM
These are good advices that you have given. But is it really possible to protect all of our coins from the market volatility? I don't think that such thing is ever possible. We must be very lucky to make it. Because nobody knows what can happen in this market in the future. But if we are aware of what to do, we can decrease the money we lose at least.
we really can't handle everything, and as you said sometimes the market moves in the direction we don't predict. but at least by having basic knowledge, we will be better prepared to face risks and make good use of market fluctuations. and op has presented several ways to take advantage of price fluctuations to make a profit, including doing research, managing money well, and being open-minded. knowledge is really needed in investing, trading, and so on, so effective steps can be determined, not just relying on emotions due to fomo. let alone panic buy because it follows the trend, it's not very good.
