21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 06, 2018, 01:56:51 PM
Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?

Bitcoin is really risky when you compare to bank investment but come to think of its benefits. If you will compare your investment in bank and in bitcoin you will notice a lot of difference. Bitcoin may be risky but it does not limit your money. You will earn depending on value of bitcoin and on how hard working you are to trade or invest. While if you invest in bank, they will only give you low investment rates. Time will pass and your money in bank doesn't make a high value.
22  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much time you spend on researching about bitcoins ? on: June 05, 2018, 04:51:46 PM
I spend about an hour daily. How much time you spend on researching about bitcoins ?

I spend almost half of my free time in reading informations about bitcoin. With this span of time, I already learned how to earn money through adapting technology but honestly, I do not rely all my expenses on bitcoin because of its volatility. Also, I need to limit myself and time not to depend every time I have on it because I also need to work hard for myself aside from working in bitcoin.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens? on: June 04, 2018, 10:17:30 AM
I noticed this phenomenon. Often someone buys up all the proposed tokens with a small amount of trading (for example, look at SMT on hitbtc this night), and after a few days these tokens go up in price very much. Is it worth buying such a token?
Definitely risky yet profitable if you are with whales. However if you are not with them and youe holding is not huge, avoid low volume coin cause you will just end up holding forever or selling at lower price.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin? on: June 04, 2018, 08:32:40 AM
i wonder what makes you trust a new altcoin? what you're looking for in their company page etc...?
Perhaps its stability with regards to its price and also if I see a lot of efforts and support to that coin coming from the community.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold your coins in multiple wallets on: June 04, 2018, 08:31:35 AM
Hi,

I lost some coins this year (my own fault in Phising)
But if you send your coins to multiple wallets you can split your investments better.

When your wallet is hacked you only lose this wallet.
This is my lesson for the next time  Smiley (and some other securities)

What do you do to secure your coins / tokens?

I tend to use 2 wallets. One wallet is for transaction only (few balance) and another one is for my savings which is a hardware wallet. So far, I'm not affraid of gettting hacked since there is no way to hack my holdings unless someone steal my hardware wallet from me which is also impossibe since no one knows that I have it.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will ICOs die? on: June 04, 2018, 08:29:11 AM
Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?
It's impossible to happen since cryptocurrency has been established and it will not be removed from the community. As long as there are investors and devs, people will prefer ICO to fund their platform.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you Invest into Crypto Currency on: June 03, 2018, 12:32:00 PM
First of all, it's because of the profit of my dearest friend whom multiplying his money in trading. From that time, I searched a lot of ways in trading, thus I'm currently independent with my profit/loss.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token bounty must hold or sell? on: June 03, 2018, 10:39:18 AM
Many bounty campaign give token..often token bounty has not been paid .. you already exist in the market .. after the price paid it down drastically ... if we hold the token .. later will be able to rise or even added down the price of token bounty
It depends to the bounty project you joined in. If you know that they have upcoming platform, then it's a good option to hold but there is no assurance that you will benefit from it since a lot of things can happen to the market.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: June 03, 2018, 10:35:53 AM
I have a question.

What is better? To keep your coins on some Exchange site or to open wallets for each coin?

I would like to hear some advice.  What are pros & cons of each option?

Thanks
It's better to keep them in a hardware waller which is easy to acess at the sametime safe from phising tools which may get your private key.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want a long term investment what s the best choice for now? on: June 03, 2018, 10:24:40 AM
I want a long term investment what s the best choice for now?

I suggest the top 3 coins in coinmarketcap since their price is more likely stable thus volitality is less likely to happen and support to that particular coin is indeedly huge.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success? on: June 03, 2018, 09:54:29 AM
Yes it is. Since it's the most convinient way for communication between investors and developers. It can be also be used as support which serves as an extent for an ICO.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is going on actually?? on: June 03, 2018, 09:21:25 AM
I am really surprised seeing the current situation of the market. Approximately, all he popular coin price is drastically falling. What is it symbolizing?? Should I do invest now or wait to see what happen?Huh
It's normal in daily market in cryptocurrency. It's more likely caused by the regulations, big whales, every traders, and other factors that could affect they crypto market.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: binance or folkdelta or bancor on: June 03, 2018, 09:19:40 AM

As of now Binance since a coin owner must give them percent of their coins in order for their coin to be listed. Thus, coin listed their must be legit and qualified to their standards.
