Still looking to buy 1k YAC for 38 LTC.

buying 1k YAC for 38 LTC.
Since I have no rep, I'd like to deal with verified people, and I would obviously be sending first.

Looking to buy 1k YAC, PM me your price.
I don't have any rep to speak of so I'd prefer to trade with someone with a decent rep, and in which case i'd be happy to send first.

Someone's started a campaign to spread FUD about Yacoin, none of these people are providing any proof that the official yacoin binaries are doing this. Several forum accounts have been hacked, and a bunch of these newbie accounts are showing up to post this garbage. T here apparently was one infected minerd posted by limitless, but I've had no issue with the official binaries, and I've checked for any strange connections. EDIT: I've looked through limitless' recent posts and haven't found any evidence he posted an infected binary of any sort. Didn't mean to drag your name into the mud there

All this worry about "the little guy" rings false due to the fact there have always been chains the little guys can mine quite nicely.
They go wasting their hashes on crap that is way too high difficulty for them and whine, instead of raking in coins all day all night on any of the several chains that are still easy to mine.
So really the whining is silly. They choose to mine impossibly high difficulty chains, that is their choice, they made it, so they should not whine about it.
If they had pointed their CPUs at BBQcoin all through last year they would be rich now. This year it is too late to get in on BBQcoin but there are still several others they could have mined at the same time as BBQcoin - all last year - and still can keep on mining this year. So when the next one rises into the limelight they will have no excuse for not getting rich that time around merely because they somehow missed out on BBQcoin.

That's it, I'm fucking mining solidcoin2 Have fun with those 0.05 block rewards

Let's not forget that likely at this point some smart people have GPU mining going without problem and are going to town

YaCoin successfully removed from my computer You've made similar posts about how you're either going to stop mining or have stopped or are removing it from your computer. nobody cares. stop posting.

Client from megaupload is fine. I've got 5 blocks & 10 orphans so far.

No, that's 1 small change, still no changes to scrypt.

Wow, difficulty goes up fast. My i7 generates a lot of rejects @ 4.5GHz. Or is it a diff problem?
You're mining a renamed novacoin as opposed to the "final" code OP will release (eventually?). That might be the problem.

Op (dev) is a junior member that instead of releasing started a poll on how the forums opinoin on pre-mining looked. Seems pretty legit.. HA HA
Except there was no premine. Almost all blocks were generated AFTER the link to the github source was posted on this thread. And I'm going to say this for about the 5th time, that source code is NOT what OP will be releasing, as it has zero changes to scrypt and at this point is simply a renamed novacoin with different block targets and rewards. It's simply a repo setup in preparation for release of the actual source.

The bitterness surrounding the fact that some of you may not be able to mine this early and then dump a ton of coins is funny.

He never claimed it would be perfectly safe from GPU mining, just that current minerd and mining software would have to be changed to mine it.
soooo... 3 days before first gpu yac miner released? Honestly I give it 2 hours before someone has it working, but 3 days before public release sounds about right.

Do you really think he'd be stupid enough to post the proper final code 9 days before release on a public git repo under the same username as his forum? Err Yes; He also is going to release a scam coin which is not save against gpu mining at all. When the OP considers it as the ultimative objective of the coin then this will be fail... However when you are the first guy get it to GPU and directly sell it, it has profit potential. He never claimed it would be perfectly safe from GPU mining, just that current minerd and mining software would have to be changed to mine it.

When the OP just would tell what minor stuff changed in Scrypt. Then I could do GPU kernel adjustments. This takes a little and I wanna go sleep :-(. So please release details of minor modz!
He's not doing that before it's released. That kinda defeats the purpose of making it slightly more difficult for GPU. So stop asking.

OP isn't even online!
You do know you can hide your online status on the forums right?
|
|
|
Maybe, maybe not. I'm mining anyway. 10 LTC for the binary! 10 LTC for binary that will be useless once OP pushes the current source. congrats
