One D3 with 10,000,000 difficulty would make 1.6 DASH worth 222$us a month . Given that the cost of electricity for most for that single machine is around 90$/month , the machine will make - soon lol. But right now it does wonders )) Not in 2 months. It is more profitable to buy 10 DASH for 2000$us now, that try to mine 1.6 DASH a month and then 0 because of difficulty...

Maybe they will. But like 3 weeks ago , they contacted me on skype, and told me with joy that they have their new supermodel at 2000mhs.... at 7000$us.. Badly timed innovation uh

anyone on how much DHL-UPS-FEDEX want in order to clear a L3+ from customs? thanks

Hello guys,
Can i know if anyone of you had to pay taxes at customs to clear? Let's suppose that you bought your unit either at 1300$us or 2000$us.
What did you pay at customs? Much appreciated!!

First batch will make good results still. Different from now , but still good.
I am extremely worried for the next batches.... Because this is a lot of Mhs deployed with each batch.... From different companies...

The first batch of whatever new machine Bitmain release is a money maker and not a money loser. I wish i had L3+ in the May batch... instead of the September. I don't need to wait in order to know what to buy, yes, in Sept i will need 2 machines to make what i did with one 3 months earlier...
Also, i feel bad for all the people who had up to now, about 600-1200mhs Genesis contract , so much money spent to mine these. And all that will be thrown to the garbage as it will mine nothing in 2 months. ... It's unfair, but that's the world we living in...
It shocks me that even before 2 months, 150mhs and 300mhs Baikal miners were selling for 3000$us a piece lol And now companies came up with 15,000mhs..... i mean.... what can i say lol
So you guys are saying that by the end of September, the difficulty of DASH will be x10?
Means now is around 500,000 , so it will be 5,000,000 ?? I don't think so... but never say never...
If that is the case, people who purchased the D3 first batch will make 400$us a month worth of dash.... hmm
and not to forget Genesis chargin you 4500$us for 1000mh/s.....
And Bitmain sells you 15,000Mhs for 2600$us.... i mean...
uffff i had the time to order one...
All the D3 first batch sold out already lol
Bitmain has uploaded some new stuff....
That new batch of L3+ coming sooon....
And that they have the Antminer D3 fresh out for sale. What is this for DASH?
15GH/s ? that's 15,000MH/s , i dont think it's realistic.
If anyone knows , let me know
Thanks

I generally mine with the thought as if im collecting coins. If i could mine 100 LTC a month, and that would drop to 89 LTC the next month, it is kind of fine by me. It is still money made. And if i hold and hoping for LTC to go over 100$ next year, it's a cool thing. I guess the thing is to take the most of what these L3+ can do until they aren't profitable at all. Because they also chew electric... at 800w a piece.
If someone had a single L3+ now, that person would mine 24 LTC a month , and would make a 1035$us profit per month ( net profit )
In October, with a difficulty at 700k , he will mine around 10.8 LTC , with profits of 418$us.

I agree. Bitmain should halt sales of L3+ until november, lower the price of L3+ and in the meantime work on a better model making double the mh/s for the beginning of the year..
Bitmain should no list any L3+ for sale until late november. if they list more L3+ for October , noone will buy. Already the september batch took longer to sell out... Because people realize that when a greedy company like Bitmain floods the market with these machines, it will not be worth mining after september. It's simple. Baikal has its 300mhs 150mhs and 900mhs all sold out. People are battling to get one on ebay auctions etc... The difficulty is stable... Anyway, i can't change the company's policy on how they sell. It is a shame though, because they could've made more cash on the long term. More than what they already do...

The july batch is being delivered now. Thus the increase. I think everything will stabilize from beginning till mid August, and then towards the end of August, difficulty will go up again because of the August batch...
I personally think LTC mining will die as we approach November. And Bitmain will have to come up with 2000mh/s machines or something. Or they could sell less and control in a better way mining, just like Baikal does with Dash...
But each company has its own strategy.

Let me clarify:
We all want to gain, we all want to win, we all want to make money. Whether it's for us, our family , whatever. The point here is that buying miners is an investment. You give some of your hard earned money to purchase equipment. They are not money machines or printers printing money. But EVERYONE of us is buying after days of calculating the mining profitability on coinwarz and others. So yes, YOU DO CARE ABOUT MONEY. So first learn the real reason why you purchased the L3+ , and stop calling me a hypocrite. Also it does help playing it like you are the mother Theresa of crypto currency, telling us that you didn't buying a money making machine, but you bought them with the bright idea that you will contribute to the crypto industry by solving transactions for LTC. Please...
Take a look at Baikal. Even the small 150mhs mini miners keep selling at high prices. They are discontinued, but still selling around 1000-1500$us. They don't mass produce. x11 was sold out on Genesis, and look how they keeping it healthy buy limiting the purchases at 100$/day / person. Look how people get excited when Baikal releases a miner or when they anounce they have some units back in stock...
Bitmain is doing a great job, dont get me wrong. But if every 3 weeks they have new batches of thousands of units, we will soon need 4-5 L3+ in order to mine what 1 L3+ is mining today. This means that at 40LTC/machine , it wont be profitable to purchase 4 machines at 160LTC to mine 25 LTC a month....
I will keep saying, if Bitmain keeps selling, THEY will get fucked. Not me , not you. Because at the end , we will ROI, and then stop mining. But they will run out of business IF if it becomes impossible to mine LTC at a profit. Of course they will come out with a 1000mh/s machine soon, and mass sell that one... But it is not a healthy strategy to sell like that. Regardless of the outcome of all that, it is just not healthy at all.
Be well

I calculated my whole thing with a difficulty if 350-400k by end of august...
let's see
BITMAIN , don't kill LTC!!
and it's going up....
Litecoin Difficulty: 279,351 Estimated Next Difficulty: 294,235 (+5.33%) Adjust time: After 995 Blocks, About 1.6 days Hashrate(?): 9,166 GH/s

I really believe that now that the september batch is sold out , it is not worth it to jump in and purchase any similar machines for the possible next batch.
And since no one will buy, Bitmain will understand the problem and slow down batches. Either way , people can also control Bitmain in a certain way.

I really hope they do think long term. Because building those machines needs a small factory, working power and research. So it's not that it's a 3 people operation from a garage or something.
So if they want to keep this up and running, and keep the interest of people high in the future for other machines, they should slow down with the production. They could always sell their 500mh/s on hashnest for 6000$us, ok, but guys, the machines.... slow it down!
If they destroy LTC just to get rich over 3-4 months of selling those machines, i think it is a LAME strategy for ANY business in the word. If Bitmain wants to have a good reputation ( because they are doing a very good job creating those ) , then be smart and let the market breathe.... Let LTC RECOVER from this bloodbath , especially that now LTC will stabilize around 30, you can't step on an open wound guys...
If you read this, you are going to SUICIDE if you keep selling at this rate. It's sweet for now, but trust me, the momentum is wrong to do that. The S9 is selling well coz it's bitcoin. Let LTC reach crazy highs, and then do whatever you want. Just not now.
My advise is to start selling the next batch in November , not now...
Thank you
