21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: noob question do i need to keep my log files? on: September 16, 2017, 03:29:44 PM
was wondering if i need to keep these for any reason

If you are having issues then you may want to keep them to help diagnose the problem by posting here in the forum.

If everything is going well you can safely delete them.

i get thi atiadlx.dll error alot or  coinst_17.30.dll

coiner. did you try doing a comnplete reinstall? just wondering?

I did everything. Spent 3 full days on it before I gave up and just let it run on 3 cards.

Tried reinstalling Windows, tested every riser, tested memory, tested every GPU, changed all the bios settings as recommended etc etc.

Google search provided results that others were having the same problems with this H170 board.

Now I only use Biostar boards made for mining, no issues.

I had the same problem with a Asus h170 pro gaming, it has 2 pcie 16X slots and 4 pcie 1X slots but I couldn't get more than 3 cards detected or running with that board, tried everything mentioned here and more, apparently a known issue.

Let us know if you get your problem solved.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethos or windows? on: August 25, 2017, 05:51:54 AM
Windows 10 runs fine without a key unless you need it to look pretty.

You can get a Windows 10 license for $10-$25 depending on where you get it from.

I bought 2 off an ebay seller that has sold hundreds, both activated and no issues.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nicehash or Pool? Mining Rig 6x1080ti on: July 28, 2017, 10:09:07 PM
I am also a fan of nicehash.

I have 2 rigs with 3 Nvidia 1060 6GB cards and have tried mining Dubaicoin, Ethereum/SIAcoin in dual mining setup but have to wait a relative long time to receive payments. With Nicehash payments are made every couple of days maximum and in bitcoin.
29  Economy / Gambling / Re: Messed up at Fairlay - deposited less than the minimum on: July 27, 2017, 10:19:47 PM
Just received an email from Fairlay.

They credited my account with 3.5 mBTC as a one time courtesy.

I'm satisfied with this outcome.
30  Economy / Gambling / Re: Messed up at Fairlay - deposited less than the minimum on: July 27, 2017, 09:59:49 PM
Go post that message or post the link of this thread over to their announcement thread right here so that fairlay's support could see your problem.  It's worth a shot since you have nothing to lose at this point and there's a small chance that they might credit the amount on your account or return it.

I did and it was deleted by the mods.

I sent a ticket to Fairlay yesterday and have not heard back from them.

If depositing a little more would make my initial deposit appear I would try that but I really don't want to make another deposit until I've first heard back from Fairlay.

I'll try again by depositing more than the minimum 5 mBTC - that should get my first deposit credited.

Well I messed up and did a deposit to Fairlay for less than the minimum 10mBTC.

I deposited 0.00397655 BTC to this address:

17naQiorggx9Ndrp2AxXrX3wJM3XHkQRGZ

It has been confirmed multiple times.

Fairlay states:

"The minimum deposit amount is 5 mBTC. Any value below that will be ignored."

Ignored?

Kept would be a better word. I did not see this until after my deposit was made and didn't show in my balance.

Please return my deposit to my wallet at:

33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Asus Z270-A on: July 27, 2017, 12:42:46 AM
There is a setting in the BIOS to power on after power outage.

I'm using an ASUS H170 and have it set to power on after power failure.

Sorry I cannot remember what the exact setting is.

Currently using Claymores miner for single mining Dubaicoin - DBIX.

Here is my config file:

36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: what is the best silent altminer that can not be detected by antivirus? on: June 29, 2017, 12:24:02 AM
If you download the file as a zip file it shouldn't be detected as a virus.

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Expected daily earnings on 3 GPU rig? on: June 27, 2017, 01:59:17 AM
Yes they make $2/day TODAY

Next week it can be $1.50/day

Next month can be $1/day.

3 months can be $0.250/day

So its not unusual for a GTX 1060 3GB card to earn approx $2 a day, thanks.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Expected daily earnings on 3 GPU rig? on: June 27, 2017, 12:24:31 AM
I have 2 rigs both with 3 GPU's. GTX 1060. 1 rig has 3GB cards other one has 6GB cards, they both seem to hash about the same rate at stock settings.

Using nicehash I'm "earning" approx $6-8 dollars a day per rig.

It appears as though each card generates approx $2 each a day at current ethereum/bitcoin prices.

Is this normal?

39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / ASUS H170 Gaming board is very unstable with multiple GPU's. on: June 25, 2017, 03:30:46 AM
I've read about quite alot of problems with this board, as an ASUS fanboy I am disappointed with the stability and problems I've had getting multiple GPU's installed.

I cannot get it to run 4GPU's. It maxes out at 3 GPU's and the only way I got it to run 3 cards was to install 2 cards on the board itself and use 1 pcie 1x riser. GPU's are Gigabyte 3GB GTX 1060 OC version.

I would be interested to hear from anyone else that is using this card or something similar.

Input also appreciated.

PS: I'm running Windows 10 and NiceHash. I tried using other miners but NiceHash seems to work best for the moment.

Also made multiple changes to the BIOS.
