I've just joined, and these sound like pretty fair restrictions, so certainly no complaints from me.

With things like Bitcoin, isn't it the case that the people who set it up and the people who get in at the very beginning are able to acquire big stakes at low prices (or at no price!) and then when it all peaks, they'll cash out and make fortunes?

Hi. I'm pb321go. Just joined. I thought I'd posted an intro message a bit earlier, but I can't see it showing up. Anyway, I'm completely new to all this, so I guess there's a steep learning curve to go through. Anybody know how to get started with XRP/ripple?

I'm just getting started with Bitcoins (and maybe XRP/Ripples) and trying to learn the ropes. Apart from joining this forum, all I've done so far is open accounts with mtgox, btc-e and ripple. Isn't this the easiest way of doing things?

Hi I've just joined up and have to say that not only am I a complete newbie to crypto-currencies, but also to forums. I've opened accounts with mtgox, btc-e, and ripple.com. Really I'd like to get started with owning some XRP. Any suggestions as how to do this? Ripple.com say I have to have 300 before I can buy/sell, but there seems no way at the moment to get that initial 300. Also, how do, or will, people go about cashing in their XRP (and Bitcoins and Litecoins) for, say, USD when they want to? Many thanks for any help. pb321go

Hi I've just joined this forum. Just wondering if you can give me some advice. I signed up with ripple.com (and mtgox and btc-e). Can you tell me how I go about buying a few XRP just for a speculative punt? There's something on ripple.com about needing 300 Ripples to buy more, but it doesn't say how to get those first 300. Seems like a Catch-22. Paul

Hi Just joined up. Completely new to Bitcoin (and to forums). As well Bitcoin and Litecoin, I want to find out about Ripple. (XRP?) Does it actually exist yet, or is it coming out some time in the future?
