21  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe Technical Analysis? on: September 30, 2023, 09:25:44 PM
Everyone knows that we can learn from the past to correct mistakes.
As a result, many economists attempt to predict the future through history.

We also have a known fact from the past.
The "Bitcoin halving" is correlated with price increases.

I'd like to pose a new question here.
What are your thoughts on using past charts(candlesticks) that similar current ongoing charts(candlesticks) to make price predictions?

When asked this question to many professors and investors, a common response is, "Candlesticks reflect the psychology of investors."

What are your thoughts on this matter?
Yes I belive in either candlestick or technical analysis, both are good strategy that can be use in trading and it is very helpful when you are starting to trade. When I started trading I only knew candlesticks, yes it is not 100% accurate because sometimes there's an unexpected things happen but it's fine as long as you know how to use stop loss or make a dca. Just like other things it is better to make research first too
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i invest in this project or not on: September 30, 2023, 04:10:59 PM
Well now a days i observe the crypto market and now the trending topics is bot the projects like unibot , banana bot , unichat and many more giving huge profits to the early birds now i heard an upcoming project name Bubble bot and the website is Bubblebot.finance has a great potential and also spot trading, Hedge/risk on pegged asset, multistaking , future trading with limit orders and much more is offering on his telegram and discord bots and the team looks really competitive but my question is new projects are quite risky but also gives the huge profit so i want opinion from experts
Here is the website:
Bubblebot.finance

I advice to make a thorough research about this one so you will not have a regret if ever but I don't know them actually. In every projects you want to invest whatever our market status will be always do some research, you can use this forum, reddit and Twitter but maybe not Twitter I guess since most of the hype came from Twitter just because they are paid. In my case I only invest to those project with smart contract audit from well known agencies.
23  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: September 30, 2023, 02:47:01 PM
Maybe it's not what is that bad if one should need some money and think about risking getting some through gambling, in this case, he realized that gambling is not an investment, such user is also aware of the risk with gambling for either winning or losing, lastly he's not taking gambling as a steady source of income to sustain or maintain a living, but instead trying out the opportunity to wether something new surprising could comes out while gambling to settle his needs.
For me, I started to gamble when my friend showed his earnings to me. I got jealous because of that and me want to earn more, I become greedy and it makes me frustrated because I want to earn more. I gamble not because I have insufficient funds but rather because of my greed and I want to earn more like my friend. My money is sufficient in our everyday needs, but when I started to play unendlessly it becomes an addiction but luckily I caught myself so early.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 30, 2023, 01:24:33 PM
Aren't addicted gamblers addicted to gambling because they find it fun when they are gambling? I used to think that is how it is, they keep gambling and can't stop because they have fun gambling and that is the reason why they don't even realize how much money they've lost so far and they keep coming back to gamble even after going through excessive losses because they just like the times when they win and even when you are losing, you tend to get some wins in the middle.

The fun might stop for someone who isn't a very regular gambler or who is not addicted to gambling. Someone who gambles for fun might not like it when they see that they are constantly losing without getting a single win because even if you are gambling for fun, you like the bets that you win, obviously.
Yes they find it very fun and it makes them happy and yet miserable. Playing too much without managing your own emotions and having a discipline in yourself is consider not a good idea because no matter how you make a reason for it still too much can harm you and the people around you, sometimes people misunderstood that having fun and being addicted to it.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: September 30, 2023, 11:41:14 AM
Gambling games are made for fun. But if people put more emphasis on making money, they will find it difficult to earn it because gambling is not a place to make money. People should be aware of this and not take gambling seriously but just for fun. If they can have fun through gambling that's good, but if they get too deep into gambling, they will experience gambling addiction. They chose it and before they became addicted to gambling, they already knew the impact they would receive. But that doesn't make them reduce their gambling activities but rather continue gambling.
People did not see gambling for fun, we all admit that we see gambling before as a major source of income or maybe the higher your will and desire to earn more that more you see gambling in the wrong side. We should not see it in that way because if we do we will be addicted and we will rely too much in gambling and soon we don't have many left. Gambling is made to entertain not to be a stream of passive income.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you deal with financial stress? on: September 29, 2023, 08:49:10 PM
The COVID19 inception was a very devastating blow to the world as a whole. Many people were taken unawares of the situation and it caused many their jobs, businesses packed up, increase in price of commodities all round. The situation till this moment is terrible. The third world countries are at the end of it all as non of their government could do anything about it. The world is facing a terrible economic inflation which has affected virtually every aspect of the market.

In my country here it is a terrible situation. The economy is something else and price of commodities here is x5 of the initial price. The price of petroleum products is on the high side.  Currency devalued and on a free fall making it very difficult eOne to meet up. Yet government is yet to attend to civil servants working  for them on increasing their salaries.

The cost of accommodation too is very high that getting a house here will take ones effort and just as OP has said that is how it is over here. It is very frustrating and worrisome that things got to this point which would be very difficult for one to comprehend. So what one needs to do at this point in time is to plan, budget and spend moderately to avoid unnecessary waste of resources. With these measures, one can be able to cushion the effect of the economic inflation  and financial stress encountered as a result of the cost of daily living.
Since the pandemic started, I am very anxious with my current salary. The inflation after the pandemic really hit us so hard , the prices went so high now some basic goods has a higher price than usual . Even onions and rice increase a lot , I don't know how can I budget my salary because goods and necessities are getting high but our salary remains so low .
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Youth Gambling on: September 29, 2023, 07:17:46 PM
Among young people is a result of the availability of gambling alternatives, such as sports betting and online gambling. Gambling disorders can have long-term effects on a person's ability to complete their education and choose their future, and young individuals may be particularly susceptible to acquiring these illnesses
Normally gambling have it's effect in human health so I believe that some people because of gambling addiction they might have repeat on gambling, let us try encouraging our people concerning gambling addictive, some people dropped out of school because they used their school fees to gamble and some people drop out because gambling take more of their time and that makes students to have a dividend attention in educational carer, so it's better for a student to quit from gambling than having a dividend attention in their education
Excessive gambling can distract youth from their studies or work, leading to poor academic performance it is proven and tested based on what we have experienced with my family member. It also arises some conflicts regarding to their emotions because if they are already addicted, the people around them can be affected too because they will be more aggressive , frustrated and agitated.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: September 29, 2023, 06:57:05 PM
Today I want to take a deep dive into gambling and how negatively it has impacted our society;

Growing up into a man I got used to gambling believing it will change my current financial status, which I was wrong, it was quite the opposite, not that am not seeing money, I was but I was too fix in making it through it.

When I finally quit the addiction, I realized that I was doing better than I even thought,

Fast forward to yesterday when I go into a betting shop to see someone, I was shock to see some of my guys in the neighborhood which I knew they where doing well, now looking wreshed an tattered.

One one thing I have noticed about gambling is that before you win a thousand box, they might have milk you of more than that.
[I just want to use this medium to appeal to the younger generation, please stay off gambling, if you must do so, gamble responsible, don't take it as your only source of living so it wouldn't milk you dry.
Yes that is true, when you think that gambling is a source of income or gambling could be a passive income because it is not. Most of the time we think that doing gambling can give us more profit and make us rich easily we did not think that we can lose as well sometimes you will lose in streak and only win one in a day. It is become too hard for us to control our mindset if we are addicted to it.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: September 28, 2023, 07:45:08 PM
In my opinion making cash from gambling is not a good option and the statistical probability that you will win every game at every casino is very low. I think winning or losing every game is completely in your head, so your individual tricks are not there. However, we all have some kind of luck so we should strive for what is possible for us.
I believe that gambling is about luck only, I have tried different approaches and strategy that they are saying still can't find the winning moment . I am always losing money rather than getting more, since then I am trying not to use any of it and will rely only for my luck. Sometimes I play when it is my favorite day of the month and favorite hour so that I am happy while playing.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 27, 2023, 06:16:17 PM
Hey gamblers' community, hope you're all doing great.
I wanted to convey my message here that gambling in front of our kids may put adverse effects on their growing minds and they may also take the wrong path and start gambling (either by asking you personally for funds or by stealing it in order to fulfill their gambling cravings).

I'm sharing this because I saw this issue with my kiddo who was once watching me gamble at a website playing blackjack and she started asking me more about the game. Then one day, she wanted to play it herself and asked me if she can go for it and I said "no, it's not your legal age to go for such games". So, it's better to keep our kiddos away from gambling and let them focus on their studies, else it'd actually ruin everything for the whole family if the kid takes the wrong path.
Yes that's what I am saying in my previous post. Minors tend to mimic our movement , actions and anything that we are doing because they are not yet capable to think what is right and what is wrong their system is not yet full develop that is why we should take an extra action. We may manage our emotions towards gambling but I am sure they are not.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: September 27, 2023, 05:31:17 PM
Everything is easy if you want it hard enough, people that say they CAN'T does not want it enough.
Same with every addiction in the world, if you really want a new chapter in your life, you will get a new chapter, maybe not in a day, but with time.
Just have the will and you will for sure be able to quit EASY.
Those who say they can't, these are the people who are discouraged not because they don't want to. It's easy to say that you want to quit gambling, but we know that it's hard to do, especially for those who are already addicted. So you really have to believe in yourself that you can do it, that you can overcome it. Tell your family and friends that you are addicted to gambling, don't be ashamed because they are your family. It is easier to overcome the problem when someone helps you.
They can't because they love gambling so much, it is hard to give up things that you are already in love with and things that you enjoyed. That's why people like should not treat gambling as source of income because most people feel this way and get addicted afterwards.

Well, if we are realistic, obviously most of the times wives won't agree on going to a casino with their husbands, most women do not like the activity of gambling specially if they are conservative house-wives.

It would better to go with a friend and previously to settle an agreement with them about adding money individually to a wager poll and in equal parts. The winning amounts from the gaming would also be spread equally amoung the friends. So all of them have a common interest on watching over their budget and not over spend.

If anyone here has managed to marry or keep a long lasting relationship with a woman who also enjoys gambling in a responsible way, then that man deserves my congratulations. It would be something relatively weird to see here.
Yes, sometimes our wives become our safety pin when things get  handful it would be bothersome but soon you will understand that it is good that they stop us because if not , we will be just other people who gambles unendlessly and has a broken family because they choose gambling over their families.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Education. on: September 27, 2023, 04:36:58 PM
Many countries prohibit gambling, to the extent that they do not licence any casino in their country. This however did not completely prevent the citizens of such countries from gambling. They go extra miles by using hidden or rerouted IP addresses to gamble. Even when the casinos block these users they keep attempting to cheat both their country's law and the casino.

Also, many countries have official gambling age but their citizens also violate this age standard.
All these abnormal ways of gambling promote gambling abuse and possible addiction which further makes gambling a societal menace.

Instead of outrightly banning gambling, how about if the concerned countries officially include gambling education in their academic syllabus, just like sex education is taught in schools. Gambling education will teach the young ones the dangers of gambling and promote moderation in gambling. Will this not be a better way to handle the gambling cases?

I disagree, it will only make people more into gambling. Minors often acquire behaviors through watching and imitating what they witness. Gambling education might unintentionally become a way for minors to participate in gambling with some attempting to do what they've learned even though the intention is not that way still it can triggered them too.

36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on the rise: Sell or HODL? on: May 12, 2021, 03:35:27 PM
YES, I will sell (some).
If that someone says they just HOLD, I really don't want to believe it, honestly. The current price is unpredictable and people who are aiming for a profit (just like me) will never have t let go of this chance. It is just like we are winning the jackpot prize...

Yeah, I did selling but not in a way that I was panicking for the dump because I am doing is to get some assurance. I already have the capital and whatever it happens in the coming days at least I was safe, so I have nothing to worry about anymore.

Presumably any crypto price that was hype today was all upredictable and we are expecting already for a price correction and we are setting the market exchange rate of $10000 as the maximum attainable goal of Ethereum before it will going dip but to be honest it is all our prediction.
I am already taking a profit from todays Ethereum hype and left some of my token there to hodl. It is just all depend on ourselves if the current market exchange was enough for you to earn a profit or not yet.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bull market end on: May 11, 2021, 05:02:05 PM
Of course, the bull run is going to end eventually. But going with the market sentiments that I've gathered from other traders, the bear market won't come until a couple of months later. Bitcoin hasn't reached $100k and ethereum is still below $5K so there's still a lot of room for growth. But I suggest you take out profits from time to time and hedge some of it back to btc or a stablecoin like USDT or whichever you prefer. Just because it hasn't come yet doesn't mean it wouldn't.

It was definitely expecting to end however we may not know when it would end. Though it is inevitable for us to worry about the coming of bearish trend as it was always expected to happen anytime without a a hint or a signal, so while it is in bullish it is also a good time to take profit and invest at the same time as we are still expecting that the market somehow will probably extend the good market movement rally of our favourite cryptos.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Elon Musk's goal with Dogecoin? on: May 11, 2021, 04:29:24 PM
I don't think Musk is doing it due to greed. He may or maynot be profiting with these hypes he create, but most of his tweets comes to challenge the establishment. He's a vocal supporter of crypto and decentralization. He likes to challenge the established economic system. He even spoke in favor of wallstreetbets which basically is a revolt against institutional control of free market.

Well I am doubting too that he was doing this out of greedy but the fact that he are earning a profit from Dogecoin will always in picture. Base on my research about Elon Musk he was enjoying doing things that was literally not a usual thing that every person are doing in life. Like when people are taking the same path with others and when he saw that many are following that path he will going to create a new path or if there were a path where no one else takes he will probably would take that path. Simply, he just wanted to prove the other way, like for example we are all full support to bitcoin but he found incredible things in Dogecoin so that's is why he is giving his support to this token.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling risks during coronavirus pandemic on: May 11, 2021, 03:55:50 PM
Many young people spend their free time playing online games, but when they grow up they realise that they have wasted it. I would advise you to devote part of your free time to self-education, which would further help to stand more firmly on his feet and get a high-paying job that you like. In today's world, you can work online as much as you like.

Well I guess even if we're not in pandemic situation today the young people will probably be engage in playing online games because of the modern technology. They are adventurous and risk taker too and they just think that it is cool because they are on trend.

I also notice that I became a little bit addict to the gambling world this past few days, it is because I have a lot of free time in this pandemic and I am looking for things where I can spend my time to avoid boredom and then I discovered a gambling website that is popular for game cockfighting before I gamble so rare to the point that I only gamble when I am with my friends or when my friends have invited me to do so, but with this cockfighting, I deposited $200 which I really not doing before, I really entertained with this game but unfortunately, I lose all my capital and never tried it again. I just spend my time playing the online games instead of gambling.

This pandemic really brought gamblers in online gambling world because of the lot of time that they have staying at home and not doing anything but just to keep themselves busy all the time tapping the screen of their phone or gadgets and joining gambling activities to spend their time.
Good thing that you have now control yourself to spend a single amouny of money on gambling activitoes and turn your attention playing online games.
40  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will drop to 20k is not time to buy btc now on: May 11, 2021, 02:30:55 PM

I also think what the OP said is totally wrong. However, he has the right to deliver his prediction. If we consider the current price of Bitcoin, $20k is too far and likely hard to achieve. We know that the price of Bitcoin can decrease massively but it shouldn't drop with a huge number in a very short time, it must take months and need process. Moreover, if the price of Bitcoin can reach $100K this year, then the bottom rate of Bitcoin in the next bearish is likely above $20K.

We have our own predictions and speculations about cryptomarket and especially when it comes to next moves of bitcoin market, either it it dump or pump.
But thinking that bitcoin market exchange rate will dump or drop to $20000 was possible but impossible to think for me whenever i see the market demand of bitcoin today.
I am very much positive that the market demand of bitcoin will continue to rise and will give also a positive feedback to the bitcoin market.
