21  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is all wealth? on: May 13, 2024, 10:45:55 PM
Money is absolutely necessary to fulfill your basic needs and lead a quality life. There's a limit after which how large your income is doesn't matter to the standard of your living but till that step, you are compromising in order to save money. A quality life needs healthy food and diet, a quality place to live, sound health and quality education for your child. But 80% of the world population are currently struggling to achieve their basic needs. Let alone a vacation, people can't even find a day off and the day off they get are when they are layed off. Keep saving for your life and if one of the family member gets seriously ill or had an accident, it would be emptied in days.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becoming A Confident Trader In The Crypto Space on: May 13, 2024, 10:20:09 PM
Good luck with your competition goals. I've never been a good futures trader myself and always envy the large profit they display on exchanges. When I copy a successful strategy, the ultimate demise of it gets started. That makes me wary of copying them. The problem with my futures trading is I make money on most of them but the profit are small and the few times I lose, the loss are huge. That's why I have limited myself to spot trading, even though I'm in loss compared to USD, I'd have more coins.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins on the Solana Chain are still thriving. on: April 07, 2024, 04:22:20 PM
Solana memes are just the hottest thing this year. Dogifwhat is the third largest meme coin both by marketcap as well the volume.
Just look at BOME, it defied the last price drop a week ago. It did decreased a bit in last 3 days but it's insignificant. The coin is consistently staying in top 25 by volume.
Another developing hot meme coin is MEW, it go listed on exchanges like Gate.io, Kucoin and Coinex, a bit more attention and it would be the next big meme.
No idea which Mumu the OP is talking about but it's both risky and rewarding to try and get into the next big meme early.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple, Developer Behind XRP Ledger, Enters Stablecoin Fray vs. Tether, USDC on: April 07, 2024, 02:50:42 PM
If they do provide a stablecoin "100% backed by U.S. dollar deposits, short-term U.S. government Treasuries and other cash equivalents." it would be a good option. Though the last part "other cash equivalents" is vague. If that is something people could trust, the stablecoin would be a hit. Even thought the Ripple vs SEC is still to end, every steps are bringing Ripple closer to win. If you are betting on the win, a Ripple bull would be imminent after win. Stablecoins on the other hand don't change in relative price against fiat so there's no hurry to jump into. we could just wait and see how well it would be received.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Temporary Down Turn for Altcoins Over? on: April 07, 2024, 02:22:15 PM
There always are a little bit of rise and fall on price but most of the times, the whole of crypto market follows the trend taken by bitcoin. So, it's upto bitcoin price change that would decide the price of alts as well. The bitcoin halving is approaching and historically, there are no sharp rises a month prior and a few months post halving. It would take few more months of accumulation for bull to come. In short, we might need to wait 6 months more for the down turn of altcoins to end. When it does, the sharp would be huge. I guess we'll get to x2 of total crypto marketcap by next year this time.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Memecoin Mania: Could This Be the Next BONK? on: April 04, 2024, 06:16:05 PM
It seems something weird is happening over in the Solana memecoin sector. There's this new project, all about super cute mascot, vibes inspired by that classic meme frog, you know the drill. They burned the liquidity, yada yada... basically trying to pull a BONK.

But truth is it's actually surging. The trading volume is insane, the price chart looks hilariously vertical, and it's snagged a listing on a major exchange soon. Are we witnessing the birth of another memecoin monster, or is this a flash in the pan?

The community is frothing at the mouth, which, okay, is expected. I'm half-tempted to throw some pocket change at it just for the absurdity, even if I fully expect it to implode beautifully.

Anyone else witnessing this madness? Do these memecoin projects ever have staying power, or are they all destined to crash and burn? This one's got me scratching my head, and I'm here for the chaos.

You didn't actually mentioned the coin. I'm into Solana meme and already in profit from most. I'm looking for new and promising coins. The strategy I'm currently imploying in buying Solana meme are waiting for them to list on tier A exchange and fall in price after the initial hype. Though it's been a profitable one, is not as profitable as people buying early who are making x100 or x1000 buying early. I have been introduced to websites like birdeye but not sure how to effectively use it.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Number of new memecoin traders hits record high on: April 04, 2024, 05:58:27 PM
We don't expect that these meme tokens are in demand pretty bad I don't invest on these meme tokens but I trade on dogecoin.
Look at Pepe it suddenly surged first month of March and now it is one of the top 3 memes on the market. I'm sure if there's an airdrop on Pepe they already made a huge profit today according to Coingecko it hit 12809.1% price surge this year.

It's risky to trade with Meme unless you know how to play on the market if you can monitor it 24/7 around march you should make some profit in swings. I heard some people who make huge money from the WIF airdrop.

I too distrusted meme coins and avoided but all I got was the desperation for missing out on such lucrative profit. There are no coins as comparable to memecoins that are giving good returns in short time. Now I'm full on on memecoins specially on Solana chain. I currently own a good amount of BOME, which is outperforming every coin since I bought it and I'm also invested in MEW meme token on Solana, it hasn't yielded me a profit yet but would be a good boost when it gets listed at the top tier exchanges.

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your strategy to win in this bull run? on: March 31, 2024, 04:27:17 PM
I don't have a strategy and I seem to jump everywhere but I have found a trend that is not failing me on this bullish sideways market.
What I realized is almost all investors believe the bull is yet to come and as the price moves sideways, people are accumulating their favorite coins. When a coin falls sharply, there is a higher tendency of it increasing to the initial level, as well every coins are trying to move upwards.
What I did is looked at the oscillation at tradingview and if I find a strong buy on a popular coin, I just buy and without a fail, I'm getting on average a 5% profit in two days. When I feel it has increased enough, I sell it and move to a new one.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite crypto loan platform? on: March 31, 2024, 02:26:02 PM
I haven't taken a loan from freezing any coins from any defi and I don't know how exactly would it be beneficial to me. There are some platforms that provide good interest on USDT but not as much on popular coins, so people might be freezing them to take USDT which on turn earns more interest than the frozen coin itself.
I do have taken Leverage while trading coins on centralized exchange. Leverage could be a big boon while you are riding on a bull but also is risky as one large spike down can cause liquidation. So, while borrowing, we should have a plan how to move forward and how we are going to get more profit than the interest we are paying.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any news on the PI Network? on: March 30, 2024, 04:11:20 PM

They are supposedly trading at a high price at $43.20 in exchanges like HTX.
This is huobi right? It's not the actual PI that OP has mentioned but it's like a pi that made by huobi themselves to ride the hype of it but it's only tradable there, no deposits and withdrawal.

A few years back, I also participated in mining of PI coins, when its app was launched on mobile and managed to accumulate  few hundereds of PI coins, later the team also introduced very challenging KYC process, it became apparent to me resized  that the team might not be fully committed to ensure the success of the project not serious to make it a success. As a result, I stopped mining and ceased my involvement with the project, including keeping up with its updates.

I too gave up when they asked for KYC. KYC could be mandatory to centralized exchange and gambling site for regulatory measures. But I see no reason for a new crypto to ask for KYC. There are reasoning that they wanted to limit multiple accounts but they could have done it by limiting mining on one account at an IP. It's not the first that that a coin has tried to airdrop users through virtual mining but the problem with pi is they don't even have a real blockchain ever after all these years. There are fake success stories and scam marketplace going all over social media that too tarnishes its image.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cutting my gambling costs to Invest some of it on the Alt and Meme Coins. on: March 30, 2024, 03:39:44 PM
Why I can only afford to invest in the highily volatile AltCoins and the MemeCoins is that the tokens are cheaper to purchase in a lot of quantities unlike bitcoin that's very expensive. Although it's agreed that one can invest on bitcoin with any amount of money but comparing the fractions or quantity, bitcoin is more quality and expensive.
So I'd only Invest on these Meme and the Alt Coins with my at stake funds supposing to be funded on my gambling. So I'd rather skip or cut my gambling stakes so that I can alternate it to Invest of the unreliable Coins which I'd also say to be it's highily risky to be sighted as gambling too.

I too wanted not to risk my coins and invest on coins which may give profit for me in long term but I always end up trading with memecoins that too on a leverage. I just joined bought Shiba Inu long and it has been decreasing since. Trading for me has been not much different from gambling where in many occasion whole of my investment is liquidated. I try to play safe and invest with my coin only but it gets boring as the profit in making are lower than staking USDT. Leverage trading with Shorts and Longs are indeed more gambling than trading.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Sam Bankman-Fried, the "Crypto King" jailed for 25 years on: March 28, 2024, 11:17:26 PM
Sam Bankman-Fried, commonly know as the "Crypto King" and "The Golden Boy" who was the founder of FTX exchange, was convicted and sentenced to 25 years in prison for for defrauding customers and investors. A New York court gave away that sentence. Further, he needs to forfeit $11bn to compensate victims.
He was one of the youngest billionaire, a billionaire in early 20s, greed and risking people money without consent led him to being sent to jail at the age of 32.

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is investment a necessity or a want? on: March 23, 2024, 02:39:11 AM
It is am obvious fact there are a lot of coins coming in to the market and Bitcoin halving is so close and alot of people are also diving in to the  market, but some thing actually triggered me creating this thread which is where I got the attention from, some one very close to me has been prioritizing coins involvement other than his health care. What are your option on this?

I might be one of them. I'm in FOMO. I've nearly missed all of the bulls because of my simple mistakes and bad luck. I have been on crypto for years but was never able to make any profit. I'm missing on every spectacular rise. All I want to do is get as much money in crypto as possible. I'm not taking out loans for investment but I'm not saving any cash. I don't have money to visit a doctor in case I fell ill. I'm working a day job and that's keeping me sane. Otherwise there are not time schedule I follow, no time when to eat, sleep or wake up. It's my frustration, excitement and expectations that's ruining my lifestyle.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you this the current correction was local bottom price for alts? on: March 22, 2024, 03:55:37 PM
As we have encountered a significant dump in the crypto market, do you think it was a local bottom for altcoin as well? Today seems the market pumped again, and alts seem to be getting back to their price range. Do you think we will see another bottom for altcoin again this year? I feel this was the last chance to accumulate altcoins, and anytime would fly major altcoins like Ethereum and others. We might not see that bottom again unless the whole market crashes back. So what's your thoughts about the last pullback? Have you accumulated something?

Of course it is, many of the altcoins had or were about to hit their ATH and a correction now means people are accumulating at a rapid pace. There are greed all over and people who have entered early are not willing to sell at at current price while new holders won't sell for loss.
But for the altcoins to hit another bull run, I think BTC have to take the lead again. The BTC breaking it's small ATH lead to the last one needs to be broken again and bitcoin needs to rise to about 100K (maybe 98K as 100 would be a great mental resistance) for other alts to break their own ATH and many of the alts would outperform BTC.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / BOME increases 30% in 24 hours on: March 21, 2024, 04:19:24 PM
BOME is at the moment being traded at price of $0.014. That's a 30% increase on price from yesterday. They have also climbed up in coinmarketcap by marketcap, currently at 112, they could soon break into top 100 and have more exposure. They are already very hyped though.
I entered BOME at th price of $0.012 and planning to sell them at 12 cents. How much do you think the coin would rise? or would it die as the current hype settles?
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ethereum Ecosystem is better than Solana Ecosystem on: March 21, 2024, 02:44:10 PM
Ethereum has upped the game with the recent duncan update. The average transaction fees for Ethereum are not that much higher, about $2 for ideal tranasction. And it's L2 options are making even better ecosystem and giving a tough competition to other L1 networks. Zksync like networks are providing virtually free DEFI interactions and the ETH L2 networks are more popular than ever. Solana too is a good network token and we just can't ignore the potential from meme coins, ETH still would be a force to reckon for decades.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats Your Favourite Meme Coins? on: March 21, 2024, 12:49:30 AM
I'm not an avid meme coiner. I had mostly tried to avoid meme coins. I have had some dogecoin in the past but missed on other meme coin like Shiba Inu and others. It was only last year that I realized I could have missed on the profits avoiding so I got into PEPE. PEPE had been my favorite coin for some time and I had made some profit with it.
In last few month solana based meme coins had been a hot topic and I was watching them from the outside, but due to FOMO, I decided to jump into BOME. I'm neither on profit or loss but to take in consideration of all of crypto influencers on youtube, I'm looking specs for a new EV.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which of the Wallet is the Best For Ethereum? on: March 19, 2024, 03:03:18 PM
I have used a multiple of wallet. The most obvious and non-custodials ones are myetherawallet and Metamask. I use both but Metamask has functionality to add custom networks that is helpful sooner or later and that is my first choice as I browse for many defis and NFTs. Metmask also offers similar functionality in mobile and PC browser extension. People also use trustwallet and it too is non-custodial but connecting the wallet and support are not as smooth as Metamask or Myetherwallet.
