21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoW/PoS180%]SONO MANDATORY UPDATE! on: January 30, 2018, 06:39:15 PM
Just checking in fast, but here is an important update.

1. Do NOT trade on Yobit.
- Don't send coins to Yobit, don't withdraw coins from Yobit.

2. Some users have found fewer coins in their wallet than there really is. Don't panic.
- Just Repair your wallet and resync to the network and they will all be back.

3. More details will come out later, but for now, test pools see if they run on the right chain.

The team will be online later and help where we can.
This is a sad situation, but it's just a bump in the road.

If you need help with something, ask in the support channel.
We have a great community that has proven its ability to help each other and make sure everyone is OK.

/SONO Team.

So, If I buy ALTCOM on Yobit right now, will I be able to convert it to SONO?
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HUSH Secure Private Messaging and Transactions [Equihash] on: January 17, 2018, 03:36:48 AM
Hi, I got a new windows wallet with a new address early this month.  When it was done synchronizing, it gave a balance of 4.95 Hush in a second address.  I never sent any Hush to this wallet, so I don't know where it came from.  When I just opened the wallet today, it showed a balance of 0.495 and then after it synchronized now it says a balance of 4.06838947.
What is happening?

The price will probably go down for the next couple of weeks but then it will come back up. This project is very early. It hasn't even had it's first use on the platform yet. The price will go up above $10 before the end of the year. When it starts getting into the education industry...that is huge.  Online schools is a huge industry. Idk if that's the plan, but it could be a big deal.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: January 10, 2018, 04:03:30 AM
How long should it take to receive KMD on barterDEX?  It's been about an hour.  The address i sent from said that it's complete.  KMD explorer shows 44 confirmations.

Do you think HUSH is worth buying at the higher price now?  Will the new BTCH be a good coin?
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WaltonChain WTC on: January 03, 2018, 03:00:31 AM

28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Endtimes - The World's First Radio Frequency Powered Network on: December 23, 2017, 11:38:36 PM
When will I get my END tokens? I sent BCC on 12/14 and filled out the form on 12/15.  I sent an email to support@endtimes.io.  No response.  I'm a little concerned.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: December 13, 2017, 11:26:37 PM
I am still mining Zcoin getting 5$ + solid return with auto convert to BTC on Mining Pool Hub
Around 18 -21 $ a day with 3 1080 tis and the best part is they consume a lot less electric power then other algos
This is really good if you have expensive Electricty 0.2$kWh+
Anyways what is this About bulwark Earning 20$+ per card , whats the algo and Is it price stable ?
Or anyother algo that might give me more profit per card ?

Nist5 man, CRUSHING it for the last weeks now,(pretty much since nicehash died)
volatile profits and diff, but always doing atleast 50%+ most anything else
zcoin is so nice on power levels, its gonna be a sad day for miners when they switch to MTP haha
idk, its cold as shit up here, i need the heat so im not mining zcoin right now myself ;p

I'm doing good with zcoin.

Where are you mining Nist5?

This has amazing potential.  It's not just about storing currency, it is creating an offline communication and bartering system.  Really, it could create a whole alternative to the current internet.
I do have to point out that there are some typos in your whitepaper and FAQ, hope you get those fixed quickly.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZERO - COMMUNITY TAKEOVER on: December 10, 2017, 01:53:44 AM
Thanks for the reply,
I removed the -c and still had the same problem.

I don't know what the OpenCL setup is.  Do you know?
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZERO - COMMUNITY TAKEOVER on: December 10, 2017, 12:16:33 AM
Hi guys can anyone help me with the error for optiminerZ/Zero in Linux 8gb:

[error] OpenCL error: cl::Context::Context() (CL_DEVICE_NOT_FOUND)

I saw the instructions on github to put a "-c 1" in the command line, but it didn't help and I couldn't figure it out.
thanks
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.4 on: December 07, 2017, 06:52:49 AM
is it possible that due to the fact that nicehash is offline, some coins, have seen their hardship decrease drastically Huh? I do not see any other explanation for these enormous leaps of a great number of things we see today. There is inevitably a big drop in computing power that has disappeared from the networks of each blockchain. Do you have other assumptions?

look at the comparisons in WTM wabpage extracted from the JSON with WTM_AUTO_SWITCHER :

BTC PRICE: 11522.43 EUR

Currently mining coin: VTC, profit: 1082
VTC 39.60 EUR
MONA 10.03 EUR
FTC 8.85 EUR
BTG 7.46 EUR
ZEN 5.59 EUR
ZEC 4.86 EUR
HUSH 4.68 EUR
ZCL 4.53 EUR
ETH 3.66 EUR
KMD 2.51 EUR
XMR 2.50 EUR

New profits
VTC: 1082 %
MONA: 274 %
FTC: 242 %
BTG: 204 %
ZEN: 153 %
ZEC: 133 %
HUSH: 128 %
ZCL: 124 %
ETH: 100 %
KMD: 68 %
XMR: 68 %
Same coin

and look at this nicehash webpage mesage :

Official press release regarding the NiceHash security breach

Unfortunately, there has been a security breach involving NiceHash website. We are currently investigating the nature of the incident and, as a result, we are stopping all operations for the next 24 hours.

Importantly, our payment system was compromised and the contents of the NiceHash Bitcoin wallet have been stolen. We are working to verify the precise number of BTC taken.

Clearly, this is a matter of deep concern and we are working hard to rectify the matter in the coming days. In addition to undertaking our own investigation, the incident has been reported to the relevant authorities and law enforcement and we are co-operating with them as a matter of urgency.

We are fully committed to restoring the NiceHash service with the highest security measures at the earliest opportunity.

We would not exist without our devoted buyers and miners all around the globe. We understand that you will have a lot of questions, and we ask for patience and understanding while we investigate the causes and find the appropriate solutions for the future of the service. We will endeavour to update you at regular intervals.

While the full scope of what happened is not yet known, we recommend, as a precaution, that you change your online passwords.

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused and are committing every resource towards solving this issue as soon as possible.

I only have 2 GPU 1070 !!!! and my ccminer on lyra mined all the day between MONA VTC and FTC...

LYRA Section in my 1bash
Code:
# lyra2v2

if [ $COIN == "MONA" -o $COIN == "VTC" -o $COIN == "NICE-LYRA2REV2" ]
then
POWERLIMIT_WATTS=130
__CORE_OVERCLOCK=150
MEMORY_OVERCLOCK=-1200
fi

This confirms that the strategy of current revenue and current difficulty is a best choice for a short time like this one.
I think, when nicehash will be online /in operation again, we will see a massive decrease rentability.

Wait & See

NB : excuse me for me bad globisch

So nicehash is down, I was wondering what has happened that caused the massive drop in difficulty.
For sure when it get back online difficulty will raise again, and profit drops to normal

They might not come back online for a while. I heard that they lost millions

What do you think is holding KMD back from having as big of a market cap as other similar projects like NEO and EOS?
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: December 02, 2017, 08:43:02 AM
My efficiency is 93 %.
Is that ok ?

2 GTX 1080 ti with 3150 kh/s per card.
Intensity 20.
XZC
You should get atleast 3300 kH/s.
Core : +75
Mem : -400

and intensity 21

Which version of ccminer is best now for xzc?
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.4 on: November 21, 2017, 08:41:02 PM
Hi, are we using the best zcoin lyra2z miner on the v0019-1.4?  Many people are saying that they can get 3000 kH/s per 1080ti, but I'm only getting 2300-2500.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: November 09, 2017, 11:21:20 PM
https://github.com/SuperNETorg/dICOApp/releases/tag/v0.5.5-beta

The dICO app is the officially recommended version, but of course people are free to use whichever method they like.

15000 MNZ from ~600 atomic swaps

And that is with about 12 hours of active trading. This is a relatively small amount as it was run at 1000:1 scale.

We found 2 previously unknown issues during the test, both were fixed within a few hours of being found for the first one, and within 30 minutes for the second one.

The 10 servers are easily doing 100 atomic swaps per hour, with 10x the servers, we will have at least 1000 swaps per hour capacity. Maybe this doesnt sound like that much compared to a central exchange, but my estimate is that  prior to yesterday there were around 3000 total atomic swaps done by everyone (1700 by barterDEX), using all methods, from the beginning of time.

The reason is manually setup atomic swaps are are real pain to do. automated ordermatching of utxos is not a simple thing and so the number of atomic swaps in history would be the several done be the various dev teams.

So to be able to do 1000 in an hour is quite a large capacity increase. And we are just at the beginning

With this new BarterDEX app, I don't have the option to generate a new seed, only log in.

When the ICO starts, do we simply need to send KMD to the address provided?  Where will our MNZ go to us?  Do we need the MNZ wallet?
Thanks
