POS is available now ?

Not til there's a functioning VPN, but the PoS would mean you're hosting a VPN exit node... Not simply staking your coins.

Well we'll all be itching longer, shitty Stocks.Ex back to being broken. Order book filled with dead lots so nothing ever goes through, just sits there. I swear they got like a 20% uptime loi. Need to just burn the site down and move onto a new venture.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: February 10, 2018, 04:44:08 PM

Projects, in special the good ones, take many time, so letīs have Iron fist and wait.

Can't lie, I was thinking of mentioning you as one who seems like a "greedy fuck" lol... Always above n beyond "ITNS for life!" in your posts.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: February 10, 2018, 04:31:08 PM
I don't think we're approaching dead coin territory (too soon to even say that at this point), but definitely some head scratchers during the months I've been mining/following the coin. The Monero switch being one of the biggest... It's like you know there's a Version 2.0 out there, so why start with 1.0 just to realize the shit you need is found under 2.0? Now months of development are down the tubes because of a careless decision.

But bottom line, treat these coins like you're in penny stock land and you'll be good. It's the greedy fucks that wait for the 100000000000% payoff that go broke in the end holding worthless shit. The greedy people that think a coin goes from $0 to $1000 overnight, with no dips in between to just buy back in at if you please.

I cashed out my coins once the skyrocketing happened for a huge payday and now I could care less if the coin goes bust tomorrow (though it'd be cool if it didn't haha). After a month of mining I made more than 1-2 rigs of RX 570s would earn me in a year. I'm still mining it, but I don't need to fear hearing any bad news resulting in the coin turning worthless.

That's one ugly ass basic looking UI, it'd be perfect on an old school Geocities page. Then add in no liquidity = another exchange doesn't matter if it's a downgrade from Stocks.Ex lol
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: February 04, 2018, 03:15:25 PM
Does anyone have an idea why difficulty increased so much today? I guess someone switches his powerful mining rigs to Intense coin, but that's strange because the price is going down. Is there some good news about the Intense coin that I overlooked?

There was a new pool that went online yesterday that had like 10 Mh/s on it with only 9 miners (why we were stuck at 20Mh/s + for so long), pool hashrate dropped back to 0 today though... So either huge farm with a personal pool, or a NHer's personal pool set up to cut pool fees out of the equation.

Hello! I mining ITNS on your pool right now and have a question.

I m start mining yesterday, and total hashrate of your pool is 13 khs,
where only 4 miners - 1 of them is you, i suppose, and other 3 is mine.

I have around 10,5 khs, you have 2-3 khs.
We found 1 block # 112046. Why i have reward only 651 ITNS?

Block reward was 1539 ITNS. And i have 4/5 of pool hashpower - why reward so low?

Thanks.

You probably started mid block

Dear Devs,

If you see this, any chance you could bless us with a quality of life UX improvement for the wallet by adding Payment IDs to the "Contacts" list. Doesn't really do any good to save our Stocks.Ex address if we still gotta copy/paste the Payment ID in every time.

Looks like newest version 1.6.7 mentions that it requires some mobo tweaks to properly use, so if you can find 1.6.6 for download that was the one I used.
That comment about tweaks is equally applicable to any BIOS mod.

When you change BIOS, its cryptography signature becomes invalid. If you have SecureBoot enabled in the MB settings, it will not boot because GPU firmware seems to be "compromised". CSM means Compatibility Support Mode for UEFI BIOS, it may be required to boot non-UEFI firmware (or firmware with wrong checksum/signature).

So if it's required, it will be for any version of editor, or better said, for any modified video BIOS.

Isn't that what running Pixel Patcher accomplishes though? I certainly don't claim to be a modding wiz, but in my months of bios tweaking and learning how to tweak... I've never seen the mobo tweaks be a step in tutorials. Just mod bios, flash bios, patch bios, restart computer, then done.

Has the INTS official now been working with several major exchanges on twitter?I hope to expect ITNS to be listed on bitfinex.

Was more a statement of begging and floating feelers out there than anything else hoping an exchange takes the BTC for a deal. At least that's my interpretation of it, cuz Coinbase sure as hell isn't going to be adding them when they don't even offer XMR lol.

But hey, it's a good day for Stocks.Ex... My deposits actually show up within ~20 minutes and not within 12 hours. It's a miracle.

I have seen several things come up in search for "One Click BIOS Editor" -- can you link me to the one that you are referencing ?

https://github.com/jaschaknack/PolarisBiosEditor

Looks like newest version 1.6.7 mentions that it requires some mobo tweaks to properly use, so if you can find 1.6.6 for download that was the one I used. Simply load stock bios into program, hit "One Click Timing Patch" button, then save bios as new file, then flash it to card, then apply pixel patcher, then reboot.

And if you don't want to use 1.6.7 due to the mobo tweaks, and can't find 1.6.6 listed for download, I had uploaded it to google drive the other day for someone else... https://drive.google.com/open?id=1h0vQrI_k3C_soxqBAAnvFxrZdqI4UeSs   ....I can guarantee no fuckery involved with the file, but if uneasy downloading from me I fully understand, I personally just couldn't find the list of previous versions on the github.

I've only tried the One Click Editor with a Gigabyte 2GB RX 550 and a MSI AERO ITX 2GB RX 550, though I've been told all of them can hit the 400+... But figured I should mention my own personal experiences to confirm those work with the editor. 425 h/s with the Gigabyte, and 410 h/s with the MSI. I left stock clocks though, so I'm sure I could squeeze more out of them if I spend more time on it.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: January 20, 2018, 01:49:20 AM
I can't test as I don't have the GPU yet and it's not an old one Wink

I was asking because a local computer shop still have some RX550 2GB in stock. They may receive 4GB models in two to three weeks but they aren't sure.  So I am wondering if it's worth to buy some 550 2GB to build a low power rig.

look here:

http://monerobenchmarks.info/

should be able to do ~350H/s. More memory could help since cryptonight is memory intensive algo

Thanks!  Looked at it and 2GB and 4GB have the same hashrate. And about cryptonight being memory intensive, I don't think so as my xmr-stak mining on CPUs takes only 9.5 MB of RAM.  But maybe it's different with GPUs, that I don't know!

2GB models are easier to take the 500 hash.  4GB were on 50 hashes worse... but I would choose 4GB. They can be launched on the ETH and easier to sell.
I tried on my dozen timings and they all influenced performance differently. But even now the result in claymor is very different from sgminer. Use sgminer

According to what I've read on forums about Ethereum, even 4GB won't be usable soon. And as I plan to mine for a long time, reselling price is not really a consideration for me. These cards will eventually go in my low power rig for starting coins.

Just get any RX 550 2gb version, and with One Click Bios Editor you'll hit 400 to 450 h/s in 2 seconds flat. At this point it's not worth spending on a RX 550 4GB or a RX 560 2GB/4GB. On Cryptonight the 550 2GB somehow hashes better or equal to a RX 560 4GB, and the RX 550 4GB is going for RX 560 prices, so not worthwhile buy. Not to mention the fact that, it's not like reaching for buying a RX 550 4GB would mean more people busting down your door to buy used later on anyways.

And ETH will be switching POS long before 4GB ever turn worthless to mine with.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: January 18, 2018, 03:42:46 AM
Frankly, though, I want to acquire as many ITNS as I can so I am moving ALL of my nVidia cards over at least for a month or two.
Why not just mine more profitable coins with nvidia cards, and then exchange those to ITNS? If you really want to "acquire as many ITNS as you can" then that would surely be a better approach. Nvidias are wasted on cryptonight.

One day people will figure this concept out, but for now it baffles me that so many don't.

Guys, I know AMD is the way to go with mining intense coin. I have 2 rx580's, 2 rx570's and 6 vega 64's being shipped to my house soon. I am running a couple of nvidia rigs now and wanted to get started with mining intense. I know they aren't as effective but is it still possible to mine intense with them? I am getting all of my shares rejected using ccminer. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. #newbproblems

It is possible for sure just not as good.  I haven't used ccminer ... have to nvidia cards..  But there are much better algo's to mine with those nvidia cards,  I would mine something different with those.   Zclassic?  PascalLite(PASL),  i don't know what else but there are some hidden gems too....

1060s at the right price are not a terrible value for ITNS... by right price I mean like $189 or so (circa Black Friday).

The new "all in one" XMR-STAK works very well on NVidia (heck it does good on AMD too). Also does CPU at  the same time in one program.

But yah AMD cards rock for ITNS.

Oh?  What kind of speeds can a 1060 pull with XMR-STAK?  I've only tried other miners and wasn't even aware that xmr-stak worked with nvidia cards...  Is it faster than the other currently available public miners?

http://monerobenchmarks.info/

Don't even bother putting your Nvidia's to use with cryptonote coins. You'll be hashing away at levels slightly better than lowly RX 550s/560s, and old R9 280s will put you to shame. The name of the game is profits, not mining what coins you take a liking to.

Y'all need to quit the bitching, Devs themselves said they should be striving to make a bigger effort to inform this board. Not all of us like to join chatrooms like lil teenagers. We go to website or here for a quick read-through of news. This is after all, an official portal for ITNS, so it's kinda sad to see it doesn't even get a post linking to the announcement from the 15th.

Maybe if Devs didn't make the worthless airdrop campaign revolve around who can fluff the coin up the most, on a board already filled with people interested in ITNS...  Then this board wouldn't be a worthless wasteland of comments.  Cheesy

Attention !

https://stocks.exchange  have some problems for deposit coins.

Ppl send many different coins, but don`t receive them at exchange.

Hope it just little problem or not ?  Shocked

They've been fine for me, though I have noticed it taking a good extra hour or so to show up past few days.

All the pools I've tried tonight are funked up. Hours wasted not noticing it earlier, the worst feeling a miner can get Sad Saw the hashrate drop so I figured the NiceHashers took a break and it was safe to come back...  Guess I should've realized the reason for their disappearance was pool issues.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: December 31, 2017, 07:17:04 PM
I'm finding it hard to frequent here anymore, it's a wasteland of mindless cheerleaders. Like the dumbest shit said every minute, it's as if people are reading off an infomercial script.

Is this due to the new airdrop campaigns? You'd think that'd mean you spread the word elsewhere about ITNS, but instead it just looks like people trying to fill their quotas here. Posts went from normal "I hope Intense has a bright future!" to being over the top fluff on the level of "ITNS saved my life!" We can be giddy about hoping for a solid future, but please stop with the over the top theatrics. It's so cringe-worthy reading all these past posts lol do more to turn people off than to get them hyped.

Just joined, been lurking for a little while reading guides etc.
Figured I had to make my first post somewhere, might aswell be here. Love the concepts of this coin, a decentralised VPN service is something that's starting to be needed in more and more countries (mine included)

Is there any way to limit the upload bandwidth used by the wallet though? I only have about 0.7Mb/s up and if I keep the wallet open it eats it all up, makes general internet use sluggish.

You made the right choice, stay with us and help the community grows.

I don't think it is possible at wallet level, but why upload bandwidth matter? You download the blockchain db, not upload it.

A wallet isn't a one way street, you're acting as a peer connecting with others to share data... Thus you're uploading shit to others.

I'm out in the country so I'm stuck with a DSL connection that tops out at download speeds of 1.4mb/s (used to be like 400kb/s until about two years ago), and my connection turns worthless once I have the wallet open. Basically get a "you are not connected to the internet" message in Chrome for every other page I try to load. So needless to say no crypto wallet is ever open on my computer unless I actually need to do a transaction at that moment.

I can download Steam games at max d/l speeds or watch Netflix at max quality without any impact to my browsing, but crypto wallets turn things to a grinding halt due to the uploading aspect of them.

Im also interested in more information here.... I like the ideas behind this coin and just recently started mining it. I even ordered a new card to upgrade to have more power. Can anyone give me an idea of your hash with a 1070 ?

http://monerobenchmarks.info/

You're kinda wasting your time and money pointing a 1070 at this, they're better at other coin algos. Cryptonote = AMD
