I'm really glad you didn't do a rollback.

Between the new wallet and the service node functionality this is quite impressive for a single dev.

I hear you're going to roll back the chain several days?  Why?  And if true, why have you not made an official announcement via your social medias?

You are going to destroy this coin if you do so.  What exchange would touch it after that?

It might be time to just start over, especially considering your chain is already horribly bloated due to the spammer.

24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: March 10, 2019, 09:19:05 PM
Also regarding Monero, it's still listed as V8 and my profit is showing $0.00.  Can I fix that or do I have to wait for next update?
There will be a new release in just a moment that map Monero to CryptoNightV4 (R).

Thanks Patrike.   Works great now.

Yeah these continuous swings between doubling the hash rate and halving just because 100 nodes hit or missed the PoW is a bit ridiculous.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zilminer - mine POW coin in dual mine mode with almost no power use!!!!! on: February 19, 2019, 11:43:06 PM
What is the difference between -cl-local-work and -cl-global-work?  Which do I want to set if I want to reduce the intensity on my GPUs to see if it fixes my network disconnect problem?
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zilminer - mine POW coin in dual mine mode with almost no power use!!!!! on: February 19, 2019, 10:29:12 PM
Anyone have issues with your network connection dropping out when zilminer starts mining, especially when running more than one GPU?

No if you mean inside POW then its normal miner to drop share and recconect for more work

Pool has been readjusted for more node use, will see if rejected change in next POW run

What I mean is my entire network connection on the machine running zilminer dies for 10-30 seconds.  It never happens when only using one GPU, only when using multiple GPUs.  And yes I have rebooted everything in the network (PCs, routers, modem).

Patrike,

Can you explain how the exponential factor works for coins?   How do you know what the factor for any particular coin should be?

Will the API for Bminer be supported at some point?
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: January 24, 2019, 04:20:05 PM
Using BMiner 13.1 on Grin, in the miner console it shows the hash rate as around 4.5, but in A.M. it shows as a steady 5.0.  When the hash rate in the console drops below 4.5 it shows as 4.0 in A.M.  Is A.M. rounding to an integer value or does it come like that from the BMiner API?

What is the problem with working with leafpool?

Regarding the Beam profit calculation, I tried to set up a custom coin and the profit is off by like 800 times.  I've done this many times with other coins so I think I know what I'm doing.  For example, right now the difficulty is 73,000,000 (roughly), which is correct based on a 60 second block time, price is 81 cents, and my hash rate is 22 sols/s.  The resulting profit is $0.0022 per day, while it should be between $1.50 and $2.  Can anyone see what I am doing wrong?  Using Bminer 1.18.
There is another concept called "exponential factor" that can impact the coin calculations. Awesome Miner doesn't expose this in the user interface. Most coins use a factor of 0, 13 or 32, but there are exceptions.

The next release will have an adjustment for this for Beam. Can you please check if it resolves the calculation problem? Later on I will also make this exp. factor a configurable setting in the Coin Properties.

The new version seems to calculate Beam profit correctly.

Smiley

The fake volume on hotbit is downright hilarious.

Watch the ETH/BTC market.  Fake orders from 3 to 11 ETH are made every 6 seconds or so.  The order book never changes.

I assume hotbit is located in some third-world ****hole because in a regulated country they would never be able to get away with this ****.

Price has really been tanking.  The emission (inflation) is just too high.

Any way to display seed words after wallet creation?  That is typically an available feature of most wallets.
