21  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scotaloo phisher - proof on: July 12, 2013, 07:30:32 AM
Well, I never really liked Moo anyway.

This whole thing has destroyed any trust I had in TF, he seriously fucked up here, I've checked he's banning users who were using the TOR exit node I was using and he took their coinchat balance too (thats what happens when you get a ban). Thats seriously unprofessional and a major mistake...

Yes, that is what happens when you abuse a free system to earn Bitcoin for doing nothing but talking about random crap for hours at a time. People like you give TOR a bad name, but not to mention it's hard to discern degenerates like yourself from genuine human beings.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Download Old Versions of Bitcoin-qt - Please Help on: July 11, 2013, 08:15:45 AM
Any specific reason why? Do you believe there is a security flaw in the later versions?

Nope, trying an experiment for curiosity
Were you going "hmm if I run two wallets can I spend the same coinz twice!!"

Couldn't you just do that with a virtual machine or such? Doesn't really explain the need for a specific version that old.
23  Economy / Marketplace / Re: CoinChat's 10 BTC referral contest! Refer the most to win. Ends Aug 1st. on: July 11, 2013, 01:46:32 AM
I don't suck Sad
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do you think Satoshi is still involved with Bitcoin? on: July 11, 2013, 01:42:20 AM

To Rex Tillerson, CEO of Exxon Mobil,

As a former employee of the corporation you run, I noticed many abuses in intellectual property.  This aggravates me as an inventor for many reasons, one being the direct link between creativity and bipolar disorder.  I invented Anarcorp the same week I started medication for bipolar disorder.  I spit it through the wire,

Satoshi Nakamoto

What?
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: How much blockchain data is filling your hard drives? on: July 11, 2013, 01:32:26 AM
Unfortunately when I first started, I went with bitcoin-qt. It never sync'd fast enough so eventually I ended up running bitcoin-qt over ssh+x, just to extract a few fractions of a bitcent. Lately I've been using web-wallets due to my poor little android tablet breaking a month or so ago.
26  Economy / Services / Re: .1 BTC raffle for CoinChat! on: July 10, 2013, 08:22:43 PM
I've always wondered why you try and get users from within Coinchat to advertise your referral link instead when they could just use their own. Huh

You assume wrongly, sir.

Also to my knowledge he was not reselling steam gifts, but actually buying them and gifting the game to you.

Or giving you a key.

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1dagep/does_anyone_know_what_happened_to_steambits/

After I submitted this to reddit he apparently found that post and decided to put his site into maintenance mode.

I think he owes the community an explaination.

Well I'm trying to get out of this damn newbie cage to post it where it won't be buried by spam.

Still no reply to my email. I think he jumped ship and bolted. Dunno.
31  Other / Beginners & Help / Anyone know what happened to Steambits? on: April 28, 2013, 07:37:47 AM
Been wondering what happened to the site, it's been complaining about Mt.Gox being down for at least a week.

My messages to the administrator on reddit have gone unanswered for about a week as well. I sent an email to him today, maybe he'll reply.

Anyone possibly got anymore information?
32  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would you buy dried fruit for bitcoin? on: April 26, 2013, 02:35:47 PM
I'd probably be more interested in buying some beef jerky.

Who doesn't love beef jerky?
33  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER Coinabul owes me 3.3 BTC! on: April 26, 2013, 02:34:35 PM
Today I got this message from contact@coinabul.com:

Quote
I understand your frustration, but since I'd have to issue your refund at current market rates I figured an equivalent value of gold would be more ideal. Since you currently own metal as opposed to BTC, I would have to purchase your metal value back from you at the current market rate and send this value to you, as well as the cost of shipping that you paid, via purchasing BTC at current market rates. Let me know which is preferred.

Quite sucks, sorry to hear that Sad
34  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Changing Pools on: April 26, 2013, 02:25:18 PM
I tried seeing of another pool paid more with the same payment system as the last, however I fail at math and it is quite difficult to calculate due to the differences in web pool software. It seemed like I made more at BTCGuild instead of Bitminter. Anyone actually got some math to prove this theory though?

Yeah surely you'd say who the scammer was by now rather than creating a somewhat useless spam thread.
