21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: August 23, 2019, 04:27:48 PM
will there be another new altcoin that will be added to the Bcnex market in the near future?

This market is good, but I see that not too many altcoins are supported yet.

The exchange just launched a few days ago. Give them some time. I am sure that they will add more and more trading pairs for more coins and tokens over time.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters killed ICO? on: August 21, 2019, 09:30:23 AM
Maybe the projects from 2017 should have used their funds wisely and actually develop something for the shitload of money they received. Most of the projects from the ICO-hype didn't deliver what they promised, a lot even ran out of funds or are now facing liquidity issues in this bear market. It's no wonder people don't wanna waste their money on false promises anymore. You can't blame bounty hunters for that.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: August 21, 2019, 09:01:52 AM
but in following a project we must be patient and optimistic in participating the project because it is not uncommon for a project to be considered a scam but in the end the project was a huge success.
It can't be just Patience and Optimism.
It all depends on the project that you are taking part in. As long as the project is good and impressive it will definitely make you benefit when participating. From the title of the topic "Bounties sometimes are unpredictable" That means indeed no one can predict the bounty, it's just that we have to try to do research into the project.

Well, research won't help you if the project team decides to "scam" bounty hunters when they are supposed to distribute. There are so many examples where the bounty pool got cut down to only a fraction of the original one or where bounty hunters didn't get their payment at all.
Bounty pool is not fixed and the rewards are subject to the change depending on the market circumstances. Payments are usually handled by the bounty manager which takes the decisions from the team and delivers the promised tokens on the distribution date. Minimizing the risks is my first choice due to the volatility of the traded market. Bounty rewards can be sold in half, another half will be on my ERC-20 wallet for the next possible dump time.

What you are saying sounds like Bounty Pools are never fixed. That might be true for some projects but then it should be stated that the bounty pool represents a certain percentage of the number of tokens that were sold in the token sale. If they clearly state this at the beginning of the bounty, I have no problem with it. But there are dozens of examples where bounty hunters got screwed afterwards.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Libra Disrupt The Financial/Economic System? on: August 20, 2019, 07:29:08 PM
I can see that a lot of users here have misconceptions about Libracoin. Let me clear them. First of all, Libra is very different from Bitcoin. While the latter is a decentralized cryptocurrency outside the fiat system the former is something which can be included within the fiat system and centralized. Bitcoin is something which is capable of disrupting the mainstream financial/economic system, since it is outside the fiat currency environment. But no such threat comes from Libra, as it is part of this environment.

And on top of that Libra is just another stable coin. People seem to think Libra is the next HUGE investment opportunity. It's not! It's just a centralized coin, controlled by a company that invades your privacy like nothing else (besides maybe Google).

26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: August 19, 2019, 11:14:25 PM
Platform has been launched and I see price of BCNX now has decreased quite a lot, if not mistaken price of ICO $ 0.45 but now price on exchange is only $ 0.2.. buy now, hold and get lots of benefits
it is clearly seen, the price of the token goes down until the purchase price is only $ 0.18, although the airdrop token and prize have not been sent, maybe after sending the BCNX token price it will go down again, the team must place the token on the top exchange to keep the price of the token
I'm still waiting until tokens for bounty are distributed and will buy a lot at that Grin
I don't think team will think about listing BCNX in other exchanges in the near future, all they have to do now is to add more coins on their platform

Funny! Always bounty hunters are blamed when a token drops in price after getting listed. Now we observe similar things without the bounty tokens even be distributed. Maybe this will change the bad reputation bounty hunters have a bit.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: August 19, 2019, 01:49:32 PM
They should list new coins and tokens which still has not listed to top exchanges. Because people preffer trading top coins on top exchanges (like Binance etc.)

They should definitely list top coins and not just some obscure tokens that aren't listed anywhere else. These are the ones that generate trading volume.

I was always wondering why there are two different tokens, MZI and MZG. What was the reason that they had a different token in the presale than in the mainsale?
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BCNEX | The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform on: August 18, 2019, 11:53:20 AM
Did they say already which coins will be listed on their exchange once it goes live on the 19th? I don't wanna know which they are planning to list but only the trading pairs that will be available on launch.
for now they only have this pair. might be updated during launch, my intention is to add one pair at a time, I also don't know for sure because I didn't join this project, to get more complete answer you can ask on telegram

Thanks for your answer. Pretty reasonable to only start with a small number of listed coins for the launch. If everything works as intended it should be no problem to quickly list more and more coins and tokens on their exchange.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]MOOZICORE | IEO -Music Streaming Service on Blockchain | Coinbebe | LAToken on: August 17, 2019, 10:14:21 PM

Of course, they didn't reach their hardcap. They had tokens still for sale on at least 4 different exchanges. No way that all these sold out. But it would be nice to know how many tokens they did sell combined on all exchanges.

you should join their telegram group to know the latest news. They say that they will be another token sale on MoonBase

Another tokensale?! Why did they decide to host another sale? During the last IEO I saw that some rounds on a few exchanges were sold out so in theory they should've received a nice amount. So I don't really understand the need for another sale but yeah, gonna check their Telegram group.

Right now they are using the Binance blockchain, so their tokens are BEP2 atm. Will this change when they release their mainnet next month?

I hope it doesn't change much. They have already started with binance blockchain. So I guess the binance part of the project won't be affected.

COS being a binance blockchain based token means they can are listed on binance DEX which gives COS tokens more token liquidity. I don’t think the mainnet is about the tokens. The cryptonomics could be left on binance chain, while the ecosystem would be moved to the mainnet after test.

Well, I checked their Telegram group and one of their Admins confirmed that the Binance chain is only a testnet and that they will convert COS to their native blockchain, where they will have their own wallet.

The 4th round of the IEO is now over since a few days which means their sales are finished now. It would be interesting to know how much money they managed to raise in total.

Yes, we should wait for a few more days because i hope they have reached their hard cap which seems to be the most successful project. At a time, they conducted IEO in 5 exchanges which seems to be massive IEO and manages to collect more funds in the market, in order to develop what they mentioned in the roadmap.
I don’t understand why you decided that the project collected a hard cap? if this happened, the team would immediately report. And so it doesn’t smell of any hardcap.

Of course, they didn't reach their hardcap. They had tokens still for sale on at least 4 different exchanges. No way that all these sold out. But it would be nice to know how many tokens they did sell combined on all exchanges.

Why they will change the tokens? Binance have invested money in this project and I don't see a reason to change token type.

At first, they started with an Ethereum based ERC20 token, then swapped completely to Binance chain (BEP2). And once they will release their mainnet, I assume they will have their own blockchain, which means there should be another token swap?

36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO better than ICO? on: August 13, 2019, 10:16:37 AM
IEOs experiencing a boom, especially on Binance. Almost every IEO on Binance could be sold in a profit because there is a great interest in buying, but not everyone manages to buy in the IEO sale.

That's the main reason why Binance IEOs are so successful. The demand is much bigger than the supply and only the lucky ones (who already hold a good amount of BNB) are allowed to invest.

What exactly is cos.tv? Is this a video platform by Contentos, similar to Youtube but you get COS rewards by creating/uploading videos on that platform?
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡️⚡️[ANN] ⚡️⚡️ Contentos Official Regular Updates on: August 12, 2019, 08:50:31 AM

If I am not wrong this token was listed in May 2019? And it recently made new high. After listing also unlike other tokens, price if COS is going up.

It was listed at first on Bilaxy in March. But the trading volume there is negligible. The most important listings were on Binance. Not long after the listing on Binance DEX in June it reached the current ATH. And after the listing on Binance earlier this month, its trading volume spiked to more than 60 million USD.

Not gonna lie, I made a few bucks trading COS last week. I think swing trading is a cool way to make profits on crypto trading.
By the way, I’m a great fan of Contentos project, I think what  they’ve got with Photogrid is going to be awesome. One of Binance Labs projects with a solid use case. I’ll say it’s a good buy right now.

Yeah. I wish I had known about this during the event. Reading the article gave me goosebumps about how I can earn COS by getting likes on the photogrid.

This is all I found https://medium.com/contentos-io/create-content-to-earn-cos-in-photogrid-4605b7af0df1

Every day I always log in on the contentos website to claim POP. With POP tokens, I can take part in a treasure hunt program where we can get COS tokens.

So it's still possible to earn COS tokens on Photogrid? I thought it was only a temporary event they hosted for Photogrid users from Brazil?

According to the second blog, this "Creation Mining" event was also a great success for Photogrid itself. They got a significant increase in both new users and content created. If other platforms recognize this, it can be a great selling point for Contentos when it comes to signing new partnerships.
