I saw several tweets from the XFC staff today saying to expect more official announcements later this month.  Looking forward to seeing them! Hopefully we'll be able to buy and sell XFC much easier soon. 

I haven't used HitBTC so I don't know much about them, but I have used Cryptopia many times and never had any problems.  I would be much happier to see XFC start on Cryptopia than on Cryptodao.  I agree that listing on Cryptodao and having not having the coin also listed on other reputable exchanges at the same time will be a disaster, and it will take a long time for XFC to recover, if ever. 

I think now would be an excellent time for you to ask the footballcoin community to vote on Livecoin or one of the other exchanges with similar volume to have the coin listed.  If an announcement is provided on all the threads with a link that tells everyone where to vote for the coin, I think we'll have way more than enough people here to be ranked in the top of the voting stats on any exchange.  This can be done with very little effort and cost.  I'm sure most people here will agree with this.   

I agree with this assessment!  Livecoin, or another exchange with similar volume in the 5 to 10 million range would be a much better choice.  Also, Cryptodao has gained a bad reputation for stealing people's money.  If Cryptodao is only exchange that footballcoin is going to be listed on, then it will harm the value of the coin and the reputation of footballcoin.  I hope this doesn't happen. 

There are several gaming or gambling tokens on coinmarketcap that have done quite good so far this year and frankly most of them don't have a platform that looks as nice as footballcoin or a potential market of fans this size.  I don't know how many football fans actually play fantasy football manager games in the average week, but I'm sure it's in the tens of millions at least, so that is certainly a large number of potential customers for this project.  I just hope they begin widespread advertising very soon and make the coin available for purchase.  

Welcome!  I know the roadmap on the old ICO page said that August 15th was the global launch, but don't know how accurate that road map was.  I think the game platform is working fine.  I haven't heard any complaints from anyone that has participated in the free-rolls, so I believe that part is ready to go.  I think the main problem is the XFC token.  It is built on counterparty and I think the developers are working to create their own private blockchain so they don't have to use the counterparty coin anymore.  That's probably a good decision, but since I'm not familiar with how blockchain works, I have no idea how long it takes to actually create something like that and make it better than what they already have.  I'm hoping that the "global launch" will at least take place sometime in August and that it will be listed on coinmarketcap so it will gain more attention from the crypto crowd.  I have no idea how they are planning to advertise to the regular football fans of the world.  I think all of us are curious about what the footballcoin staff plans to do to raise awareness.  I liked the idea previously mentioned about vouchers for free beer at a stadium.  Or maybe offer a coupon worth a certain amount of XFC coins to everyone in attendance at a stadium if they'll sign up with the game site. 

I'd be curious to know the answer also.  This was my first ICO so I don't have any previous experience with them either.  I keep my coins in the Footballcoin wallet and the last time I looked, it didn't list a dollar value, just a total number of tokens, which unfortunately was well short of the gazillion tokens I was hoping to have.  But yeah, I'm not sure how IndieSquare is already able to calculate a dollar value for them.  I'm sure there's a simple answer, but we just don't know it yet.  Maybe that figure is a general average of money collected per token for each one that was sold and IndieSquare had access to that info?  That's the best I can come up with.  I guess that's the value XFCCOIN will have whenever it hits an exchange for the first time, you know, right before it immediately balloons in value to 12 cents a token because the world realizes how undervalued it currently is.   .

Good looking ladies hosting an official Footballcoin youtube channel would probably help catch football fans attention!   

Yes, CryptoDAO has extremely low volume.  I think they rank somewhere around 130th on the coinmarketcap list of exchanges for daily volume, measured at just a few thousand dollars per day.  Being listed on an exchange in the top 50 should be the goal.  Bittrex would be the best situation but I'm sure it is not as easy to be listed on Bittrex now as it used to be.  However, even smaller exchanges like Livecoin, Yobit, Liqui, and Cryptopia usually have volumes of at least a couple million per day and would be a huge improvement over CryptoDAO.  And as we are now within two or three weeks of the start of the football season for many leagues, I'm sure we will see a lot more updates from the footballcoin team.  So if we can get beyond August 1st, I think the big picture will become much more clear. 

Ha!  Yes, something like what is pictured there was exactly what I was thinking of.  It wouldn't hurt to have a weekly "face of XFC" on youtube.  I'm sure there's no shortage of attractive women who are also football fans that would be suitable for the host position of a weekly information/discussion program.  I hope they give this idea serious consideration for the future. 

I have a question for the XFC staff.  Are there any plans to market Footballcoin by having a short, weekly program on Youtube or on your Facebook page that will discuss players, upcoming matchups, news from around the various leagues, tournaments, etc? 

That's very good news.  I'm curious to hear anyone's opinion on what kind of market cap potential they think football coin could have.  There are several other gaming coins out there and most of them are doing really well so far.  I suspect footballcoin has a bright future also, just based on the quality of the site and the sheer number of fantasy football players in the world who might sign up after more marketing has been done.

Yes, being listed on an exchange with good volume like Bittrex would certainly be a huge bonus for footballcoin.  But I think being listed on the smaller exchanges will also work fine since this coin represents a fully functioning product/platform, which so many cryptocurrencies do not currently have and may be months or years away from having.  So I'm sure people in the crypto community will certainly take notice once the coin hits any exchange and will purchase it.  A question I have is that if coins will also be sold for euros/dollars when the season begins, how will the price be determined?  Will the price always be determined by what happens on the exchange?  Perhaps the coins sold for fiat money to the non-crypto fantasy football crowd will be sold for the current exchange price + a small premium?  That seems logical to me, but I could be totally wrong.

Hello everyone.  I'm new to this forum.  I read the last few pages and it looks like the coin hasn't been placed on any exchange yet.  Hopefully that happens soon so it will gain a lot more recognition from the crypto community.  I only heard about it from reading a past issue of Clif High's report so I was too late for purchasing coins in the ICO.  Congratulations to everyone who did purchase them.  This looks like a good project with lots of potential.  I'm guessing that other fantasy football leagues that have been around for a few years have millions of players each season so it seems like footballcoin should do well, especially since it will feature more than just the English Premiere League.

I don't see an exact start date listed on the footballcoin site yet.  Does anyone know when the contests will officially begin?  And for those people outside the crypto community who don't have coins and don't want to purchase them on an exchange, will there be another method that they can use to get coins to play in the contests?  If this info has already been listed in the forum, I apologize for not reading all the pages.
