25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [1 BTC Bounty] What is Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2013, 12:06:46 AM
Money today is based on trust in a central authority, such as the United States Treasury (USD) or the European Union (Euro). This keeps all finances private but is highly traceable and can be tracked back to a single person easily. Bitcoin is based on trust in highly-efficient and unbreakable math. All finances are public to everyone, however addresses have no person or organization associated with them (unless that person/org decided to publicly show their address in a official manner). Bitcoin is easy to use, albeit hard to acquire, and all forms of payment with bitcoin are irreversible.

27  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What would you do with 1000$? on: May 24, 2013, 09:39:40 PM
Use BTCT-CO (Think NYSE for bitcoin) to invest in ASICMINER-PT.
28  Economy / Digital goods / Selling Steam Games on: May 08, 2013, 07:00:31 PM
Selling any Steam games you want. I currently have $28 available to exchange Steam for BTC.

I also have Arma III, Portal 2, Garry's Mod, and Super Meat Boy.

All games sell at a 1-4% increase in price, depending on the price of the game. (More expensive is lower fee)

Will use escrow.
29  Economy / Services / Re: Anonymous refillable virtual visa cards(1d/3m/1y lifetime) for BTC/LTC/NVC on: May 08, 2013, 01:44:05 AM
Would you like to automate this? If you send me a PM I could try to help you make this a automated system.
30  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Same Wallet. Different Backup. on: May 06, 2013, 08:29:21 PM
Your backups store the private keys for your wallets in encrypted form. If you've generated (or imported) any new addresses that list will get bigger.
31  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers that scammed me tonight... on: May 03, 2013, 05:28:51 AM
I think you just don't understand how to trade. Getting scammed three times in one night?
32  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to accept Bitcoin in a Quick Service Resturant on: May 03, 2013, 05:27:33 AM
Just pay the fees to BitPay or Coinbase. They're popular for a good reason.

How do you feel about kidnapped girls? I can wipe her memory and make her think that you're her husband.

It ain't cheap though.
37  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: April 29, 2013, 10:48:48 PM
I'd like to be whitelisted. I've been following bitcoin for quite a while now, and just got into it a few weeks ago. I've already sold some items for BTC and exchanged a bit of BTC on #bitcoin-otc.
38  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am here now on: April 28, 2013, 08:30:17 AM
Hello.

I'm good, how bout you?
39  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: About PayPal. on: April 28, 2013, 08:23:56 AM
The only place you can (reliably) trade PayPal for BTC is #bitcoin-otc on Freenode.
40  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can BTC and BTClike transactions be returned to sender or rejected? on: April 28, 2013, 07:34:14 AM
A receiving address can be ignored, so any BTC sent to it will be in the void. With payment services they usually reuse addresses or just pocket any extra.

You can just send money back, but there is no way to "reject" a payment. Well it is technically possible, but it would be pointless.

There are a bunch of bitcoin escrow services.
