21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: August 01, 2018, 01:26:03 PM
Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks
If you notice that the value is falling down or the value decreases, the best action is to invest and buy coins. "Buy coins at low price" that is my tactics and it is proven and tested by many of investors. Because that will not stay as that. The value is volatile we may experience losses but sooner the value will rises up.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: July 27, 2018, 04:01:09 PM
I can't name any other coin/token, which failed more times than ETH. It's not about loving or hating it, it's all about people losing money, because of situations which can be avoided. I would care less if these ETH based projects were not asking money from the masses, but that's not the case. And believe me when I'm saying that Ethereum has some powerful lobbyists. Otherwise its price would be probably 1/5 from the current one.

Didn't we had enough of this?
Of course, honestly I want to have ethereum, I am planning to invest in ethereum if I have enough money to invest. This time Ethereum has a big part of crypto now, it is the second successful coin in crypto which is really worthy to invest. Ethereum is not only in long term investment but it is also for short term investment.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in Ethereum on: July 27, 2018, 01:34:58 PM
Hello.

do you think it's a good time to invest in Ethereum?
Yes, there has no specific time and date on when to invest in ethereum. You must invest as soon as possible because sooner or later the value will rise. The ethereum is worthy to invest and actually at this year ethereum is on the top of all currency. It is also good in short term and long term investment.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: holding and prices will go up ? on: July 27, 2018, 09:45:26 AM
Everyone is holding and saying prices will go up again what can make prices go up again ? I do believe it will go up but not like last December unless something comes in and changes the market so what do you think it could be ?
Hold your investment. Don't be afraid sooner or later the value will be back like the value last December. It is normal to experience this then best thing you can do to avoid such losses is to hold and trust crypto. Remember crypto is volatile, it sometimes drop its value and sometines it rises. Just wait.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What I do before buying an altcoin! on: July 27, 2018, 08:01:40 AM
So I thoght this could be of help for some that also in search so they will also be inspired .. maybe they could also ad stuff arround here that could be of help!

Research it takes a few days/weeks so if u're in this fase take your time.

1.Forum search about the coin;
2.Join the telegram group and try to interact with the members;
3.Try to make a post on the forum and also see the crowd sentiment;
4.See some data on coinmarketcap.com , : https://icodrops.com/ , https://icorating.com/
5.Watch this tool from investing.com - find here the explination: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2873063.msg29503403#msg29503403
**LATER EDIT:
6. Team - research moust of the members on linkedin and google , also the backers or advisors.

Doing this can be of help to get a sense of a really good buy... at least this is what  I do.

What are your thoughts ? How do you do it??

Cheers!
You should first familiarize about the coin you want to buy. You can search information or browse in internet what and how that coin work. Ylu can also search the feedbacks of those people who bought that before and if it is worthy to buy. Make a lot of research and you can monitor the coin and if it okay with you then buy it.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: July 27, 2018, 06:43:11 AM
I discovered bitcoin when it was about $5 per coin and during that time for several reasons I could not buy it. I discovered eth and xmr when they were around $10 per coin and I could not find a good place to buy them. I discovered netko when it was about $0.05 and I could not get the wallet compiled. I probably had around 40 bitcoins and cashed them all out under $800 and I could name more.

You?
I have lots of regrets in this crypto and now I want to easily bring it back on what suppose to do. I didn't invest in some currency such as bitcoin and ethereum before. I am afraid if the value will drop and then I will not get my capital or even a little investment. So ive decided to not to invest. But after a months the value rises up and that is the time that regrets comes to my mind. And now I want to fullfil those regrets.
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is back ? is that good time to invest ? on: July 24, 2018, 02:47:11 PM
BTC is back ? is that good time to invest  ? or still wait for few days ?
i'm not sure if bitcoin will be back again to the bottom but as far as i know more and more big names in the world interested to invest in the bitcoin. You should buy at this time or you will lose a chance if the bitcoin will increase again soon. The possible thing for you wait until there will be another little correction for bitcoin in the future again man.
Yes btc is back to its nice price. But its not good for now to invest the best time to invest is when the price is too low so that you can grow money money just like what happened right now. The price rised up and you should take opportunity. But i think its still a good time to invest
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in the world of crypto currency on: July 23, 2018, 01:01:55 PM
I have been trading crypto-currencies for almost a year now, investing, participating in bounty companies and building my own mining farm.
I wonder how many more girls are in this forum?
Or who of the guys is teaching his girlfriends and wives to invest and trade in crypto-currencies? It is very interesting to me!
I teach my girlfriend to atleast try this crypto. She tried but it is hard for her to continue, but since I want her to become part of this crypto I motivate and push her. And now she is crypto user and invest a lot. Actually, she is the one who pushes me now to do well and take this opportunity seriously.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: July 23, 2018, 11:52:11 AM
Seems like most people just want to become super rich in a short period of time.
If you don't believe in this new technology, and just want to earn quick money, I think you will probably not achieve what you want.
All I want to say is be patient, live your life, and don't get too emotional by all the negative news/FUD. Yes, crypto might be ended in a really bad way and you lose most/all your money. But if you truly believe in the new technology, just invest the projects you like the most and hold until it gets mature and returns.

Definitely yes, I truly believe in crypto currency. If I'm not, I will not be here for too long right. Cryptocurrency has a very big potential to those investors as well as in users. It is an opportunity to become successful in the future and also it has a future benefit for your family. Maybe we experienced downfall of crypto but it is normal you jusy need to wait and trust crypto.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $12000 to invest in long term. Which coin? :D on: July 20, 2018, 04:00:51 PM
Which is a safe coin to invest in the long term?
How long should I hold it?

Is there a risk that I might lose it all?

I am a noob in cryptocurrencies. Help.  Huh

I was thinking Litecoin, is it a good idea?
I suggest you to split it in bitcoin and ethereum. These two coins are really effective in terms of long term investments. If you have more money than this, better to invest it because this time the value is starting to rise up and book at the crypto. But before investing make sure that you are familiar in the chosen coin.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest wisely on: July 20, 2018, 01:19:31 PM
It's getting ridiculous here. People are now investing just because of the hype or just from watching the scores given by Icobench, ICOratings etc.

You're doing it wrong. You should look at the team and the experience they have, whether this project exists already (e.g we have Monaco, TenX, Centra, MoxyOne and many others) and none of them actually delivered 100% what they promised etc. so unless you really see the potentials on the project, you really shouldn't invest. Ignore the moon bullshit they are trying to feed you.

This is valid for both bounty hunters (because they are wasting their time) and ICO participants (wasting money).
Yes all investor should know that. Actually there are so many investors that are being scammed because of acting good people and making good talks and promises then they eill take advantage of the trust given them. Its really disappointing if that happened to me.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite coins to invest (vote) on: July 19, 2018, 04:05:00 PM
Voting is very important, they indicate real interest filtering out manipulators

Verified Digital Assets vote only https://cryptonaire.com/digital-assets/

Coinbase USA exchange only 5 coins supports: BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH and ETC will soon https://pro.coinbase.com

Thailand will legalize only 7 cryptocurrencies: btc, eth, etc, ltc, xrp, xlm, bch https://news.bitcoin.com/thailand-crypto-regulations-legalizing-cryptocurrencies/

Before, when ethereum is not around I prefer Bitcoin since the value is really good and you will feel the contentment on it but as the month passes by, the ethereum entered. In this time I am more on Ethereum since the value is much good compare to bitcoin. But remember these two coins are good and worthy to invest.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to minimize the risk of being scammed. on: July 19, 2018, 02:31:31 PM
After reading their whitepaper then ask yourself these questions:
1. Does the document make sense to you? (Did you get a picture of the whole idea they are talking about?)
2. Is project going to provide any real solution to any problem? (scam projects usually provide vague solutions which normally does not point out the blockchain aspect in it)
3. Is the document having original contents (scam projects usually copy people's work)
4. How old is their official website (most scam projects usually have new websites)
5. What has the team done already towards the project.(scam projects usually do not have any detailed roadmap)
6. Check the team's profile on linkedIn and also their number of connections. (fake ones usually have low and no real connections.)
7. Check the token distribution. Is there equity and equality? (the scam ones usually allocate higher percentages to the team)
8. Did they give any abnormal price speculations? (i joined one bounty(Crestonium) who promised 3 times profit within 6 months else they are going to refund investors monies back to them. They ended up being a scam)

No matter how vigilant you are, you can still get scammed but at least, you can reduce the risk of being scammed. Enjoy your day
It is based on your understanding. Because if you look at the whitepaper you can actually recognize if the ICO will success if you yourself noticed that their platform are feasible then you should trust that one and support it with all of your heart.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which investment of crypto is profitable on: July 18, 2018, 08:02:29 PM
Depend on your money, if you get suggestion from someone else and he give you coin who have potential and will give you a lot of profit but you have a little money, that is very useless. But if you have a big money for investing in cryptocurrency and you choose a coin then you will get a lot of profit. I think the coin who listed on big exchange will give you serenity, no need to worry about the scam and no need to worry that the coi will have no value, just hold for long term and you will get what you want.
It actually depends on the holding or the budget of the person if he or she is holding enough money to support a particular ICO nit actually to support but to earn aslo he weill invest enough also to earn bigger than he expected. So if the ICO suceeded he also succeeded.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much time do you spend on bounty campaigns? on: July 18, 2018, 07:25:09 PM
These questions have been asked in this forum already. If you search through, you will definitely get answers to your questions. Notwithstanding, i spend larger percentage of my time in a day on bounty, because i enjoy it. Bounty worth devoting more time for and the remunerating can be very good.
In joining bounty campaign. I am definitely not depositing any amount of money in there because i am only joining by filing up their form and to join specific campaign and then i am doing particular tasks depending on the campaign which ive joined in.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My BIGGEST cryptocurrency mistake on: June 27, 2018, 04:58:31 AM
December 2017 during the high of highs, I made a huge mistake, I allowed greed and fomo, ignored my gut and bought into NXT because I was chasing Ignis airdrop. The coin has since tanked and I still have not received the airdrop. Nxt is probably 80/90 down.

What is your biggest cryptocurrency mistake???
Same mistake, december as a newbie in trading and in the market, joined the ignis dropped and got rekt because of that losing 80% of my portfolio  because i didnt know what will happen as soon as the snapshot was done, the price dramatically decreased in just matter of seconds because most of the people are dumping that shitcoin, they are all for the the snapshot thing because they wont have any airdrop if they didnt have that coin in the snapshot.Biggest mistake so far,but after 2months i have recovered from that mistake i gains $25k worth of losses into scalping, and daily trading.
My biggest crypto mistake is that i sell my biggest token volume and sell it on a low price. If i hold it until now i have 5 times of income in there. But i do panic selling because the price is really falling down so i decided to sell it than to gain no money.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: June 27, 2018, 01:35:36 AM
As a matter of fact, it is very few number of noobs in the cryptocurrency business that understand the level at which patience is required and valuable in the business. I do tell my friends around me that wish to come in to the business “it’s only patience ones that would feed from the milk of a lion” . I bought some coins few weeks ago, which I decided to hold while it was dipping but I keep holding with zero fear and absolute patience. Presently, i’m In over 47% profit in all. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential and relax even while it’s at dip. Trust me, you won’t live to regret anything if only you would be able to hold with patience. Thanks
Yes, patience is the key to be successful in this crypto. Income here is not an easy money that when you buy any cryptocurrency you will gain at that time. You must wait and hold it for a long time or whenever the value is good enough to sell.  And aside from this trust and self confidence must be active.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: June 26, 2018, 11:22:13 PM
Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?
You cannot compared to two different coins. Each of that coins have their own abilities and capabilities. They will both rule the crypto in its own way. Both of this coins have a high potential of growth. We cannot determined if one time bitcoin or eth will boom at crypto world. They are both good crypto so I think both of this will possibly rule all coins.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have potential to grow? on: June 26, 2018, 03:32:18 PM
Which altcoins have potential to grow like Bitcoin?

Dash : it is showing great price leaps, it has compatability with Bitcoin (most of Bitcoin's updates get integrated within Dash), it has optional privacy, it has a strong
incentivized full nodes network, it has ASIC miners for improved network security, it has ATM machines, it has low fees (which is attracting more and more merchants),
it has a decentralized governance and budget system in place and it has a clear roadmap towards on-chain scaling, so it can achieve what Bitcoin lost down the road
which is mainstream adaption

Etheruem I think because it is secondly when it comes to cryptocurrency price aside from bitcoin and ethereum is the one also needed to invest when you want to invest in a particular ICO so I think the more the volume it takes the higher the value will be I think.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy or Sell...??? on: June 26, 2018, 02:46:29 PM
in the world of cryptocurrency market HOLD is not too bad its a good step for its fore. because the current cryptocurrency market is stabilizing the price of bitcoin with its other altcoin. because at that time bitcoin plummeted and altcoin also follow-up due to G20 issue but many countries that claim bitcoin and his friends were approved in some countries.

and it's a very good move because all the big and small investors are happy to hear that it's likely that many investors are reinvesting their funds into the cryptocurrency market so if it's called this time it's good to reinvest if there's more capital, or hold if reinvested in price up from now.

his fore would back up the bitcoin and altcoin
I go for buying than selling. Because as of now the prices are really low and this is really a perfect timing to buy tokens. Because if youre a good in crypto you should buy low and sell high. For you to earn bigger than youve spend. Buying tokens will not you yourself. But also the price of the particular token you will buy
