21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2G 750W on: October 19, 2017, 02:49:06 PM
Just got this email.

Dear A5 Dashmaster Customers,

Thank you for your purchase in Innosilicon products!
We are very happy to share the video of A5 and A4+ miner to you!
See https://youtu.be/9nyIewRpB4U and www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQPsn3PRD7s

As many of you know, the delivery date will be moved back (shipping is expected around late Nov). Innosilicon is offering a special discount, as an apology for our delivery delay.

The discount is as follow:
You will receive 1 free A4+ miner as compensation, as alternative to our promised hashrate compensation.
Please note that the free miner will not be sent at the same time as your purchased miners. They will be sent to you after you have received your original purchase. Their shipping date will be within a month after your purchase’s shipping date.

So delivery is pushed back again, first was mid-Nov, now late-Nov. However, the compensation sounds good, a free A4+ instead of the promised hashrate compensation.

This is great news!

I just asked Innosilicon if this is a legit compensation for real.

I will be doing thorough reviews for both miners (A5 and A4+) here at the forum if it is.

I just wonder what the compensation is if buying only one A5.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2G 750W on: October 19, 2017, 01:40:01 PM
@bytiges - What you mean the numbers don't add up?
@cuteman - As I understood, we will get the A4+ only after a month of receiving the A5.
@lynewyork - 2 x A5.

So you got 2 A4+ for 2 A5 or only one A4+ for 2 A5?

How many A5 did you order?
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Expired Bitmain order on: October 19, 2017, 11:38:07 AM
I have an expired Bitmain order that has not been paid. I just wonder if it is possible if I pay now and get the order shipped?
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: September 25, 2017, 03:06:10 AM
I just got a D3 and have been mining for almost 4 days. I'm making about $45/day, but my D3 keeps going offline. What pools are people mining with? I'm using prohashing.com right now.

fyi ProHashing has a 4.99% fee.  NiceHash is 3 - 4% depending on your payout.  Of course NiceHash only pays in BTC.

M

I have NiceHash set as my backup pool. Are you mining on it with a D3? If so, what are your payouts like?

I don't have a D3. Sad

M

I do not use nicehash, but the payout is quite close to what in whattomine (using 17Gh/s as hashrate).

It seems that no one interested in the announcement of the new batch of Inno A5.

http://www.innosilicon.com/html/a5-miner/index.html#Buy

Given that the Dash diff skyrockets, ROI for A5 seems impossible.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: September 23, 2017, 06:52:39 AM
Total hashrate is already >100TH that is >3x than the number one week ago. I do not want to think about the number when the big batch (end of Nov) is shipped. That explains why the D3 price from Bitmain for Nov batch is so low.

im hoping for 35-50 dollars per day by late nov/early dec

I'm wondering if my 1st D3 will even ROI at $2,700.00 that will be up this coming Tuesday.....

(also have a dubious 2nd one arriving middle of Nov I think.....ack! maybe ROI on that one ..at 1450 price me thinks..hopes..guesses...etc)

Total hashrate now is 114TH (from 105TH when I wrote the comments 30min ago).

Wow, two days before my order was scheduled to ship... Bitmain confirmed my payment, marked my order as valid, fedex says it'll be arriving day after tomorrow.

Bitmain really came through!  Amazing.  Now if the product works as described when I get it, I'm happy.

I was trying to figure out if it's worth going through the old posts wishing death and destruction upon Bitmain and editing them, but wow there's a lot and they're really buried in these 100+ pages.  So I'm going to leave them, figuring if someone cared enough to read those other posts, they'll find this one too and that will clarify.

Is it D3?

No, S9.   D3 is later from different source, for me.

Ok. I was confused because they start to ship D3 in only 3 days.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Small Mining Group? on: September 12, 2017, 07:47:22 PM
I have a small rig and am always looking for the next big thing to mine and hodl as opposed to dump.  In my opinion the best coins to mine are those that are profitable now but expected to take off soon.  The goal is to accumulate coins at a lower difficulty now and ride out the pump later.  I was wondering if there were any other dedicated small miners that have like-minded goals.  If so I was thinking of creating a group of some kind so that we can bounce ideas off each other and share something that may have been overlooked.  Everyone would have to contribute and keep it tight-nit.  No pumping or spreading of fud allowed while the coin is little known.

Post here if you're interested.

+1 to be in the group.

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: September 12, 2017, 07:39:59 PM
It is kind of fishy though... As some say in the thread, their site has not been updated in order for the public to be notified besides the only bank wire payment.
Another really troubling thing is that they ask not to mention miner and baikal on the bank wire..Plus, money goes to a ''VITCORE HOLDINGS LIMITED''. Does this look legit to you?

I can confirm VICTORE HOLDINGS LIMITED, singapore bank is baikal official bank to wire funds.
As much i feel i dont like the way they handle business dealings, and will never do any business with them again.
But nothing fishy here, ive wired for past purchase but things didnt go as planned. I recieved my funds back with no issues.

*edit they remind you not to mention miners or bitcoin is because banks can refuse your transfer for purchasing miners.

Bitmain also says that you should not mention bitcoin for fund wire.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: September 12, 2017, 01:09:58 PM
This batch is almost exactly one week after the last one. Maybe just because of anyone who pre-ordered, chose wire fund and the have not shown up any more.

If anyone need D3 (17GHs), you can message me.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2G 750W on: September 12, 2017, 02:42:56 AM
What is the general practice to run Asic overclocked? Can we run them overclocked 24/7?

Based on the numbers published a few messages earlier in this thread, I wouldn't overclock to get the extra 6GH because it costs 500 watts, and some unknown reduction in the lifespan of the miner. Usually when you overclock something you shorten the lifespan, and then there is the issue of heat. 500watts is a lot of heat to dissipate, and heat is the enemy long life.

Yes, it is true. But running 6GH more for one month before the huge batch of D3 might be worth more than 6 months afterwards.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: September 10, 2017, 05:37:22 AM
Do you know how to find all the L3+ batches released (and will be released) by BITMAIN?
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Need a reliable seller of antminer L3+ on: September 10, 2017, 05:36:02 AM
Hi
I have tried to put an order for antminer L3+ on bitmain website a lot of times, whenever it gets released, but my order doesn't go through.
Is there any other reliable seller anyone knows?

If I look reliable to you, you can send me a message. But I only have L3+ for Nov and end of Oct batches.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Scrypt mining - Litecoin future profit on: September 10, 2017, 12:38:36 AM
Hi

I check whattomine and the profit for Dogecoin is so low. What is the reason? Dogecoin hashrate is quite high (comparable to Litecoin) and if many people currently mining Dogecoin move to mine Litecoin, Litecoin mining profit will decrease signficantly.

Am I right? Do I miss anything?
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / D3 and L3+ on: September 08, 2017, 12:24:00 AM
I have D3 (end of Nov batch) and L3+ (end of Oct batch). Current prices (including PSU):

D3: $4200
L3+: $4000

If you mine at our location (monthly fee: $0.25 kwh), there will be discount.

Send me a message if interested.

The global supply for this batch seems so small. If you want to buy l3+, PM me.
