BEAM is my leading mining coin since start in Jan 2019!
First block halving is precisely one year after, mine this coin while you can and hold, prepare for Jan 2020!
I will just add some thoughts why this coin must pass at least $10 price level:
1. Superb privacy, finally we have PoW bloated free true anonymous blockchain - solving Satoshi's addressed concerns in his white-paper 2. Wallet with atomic swap, all private coins must have an option not to go over centralized exchanges, beam offer this natively without 3rd party or middleman 3. Offline payments, receiver doesn't need to keep wallet online in the moment of the transaction 4. Tokenization platform, imagine the possibility to exchange ownership of any digital asset in truly private manner 5. Excellence dev team, one of the most efficient if not the most efficient dev team in the space 6. Foundation backed by treasury, steered by credible people from community ...
Nice summary Rentahash! I'm also in since day 1 and confident with the future. For me the wallet with atomic swap will be a breakthrough functionality Unfortunately, now you won’t surprise anyone with an atomic swap. This is not so important for the development of the project and the formation of the value of BEAM coins.

I cannot run GMiner from inside AwesomeMiner, the GMiner quits with an error "Anti-hacking system detected modification of the miner memory. If you using an antivirus, add miner to antivirus exceptions". Adding the gminer folder to antivirus exceptions does not help. Also if I go to the gminer folder that awesomeminer uses (C:\Users\George\AppData\Local\AwesomeMiner\gminer_1_73_windows64_2) and start gminer manually, everything works fine. How can I make it work from inside AwesomeMiner?
Friend, do not pay attention to the antivirus, there are no viruses or trojans in this miner. Add it to the exceptions and do not worry. But this is only in this miner, but in less well-known miners there can be anything. Nevertheless, vigilance does not hurt.

the speed does not change .... And so on all the rigs v1.73 beam In the announcement from the miner developer, there was no information about the increase in productivity. Only indicated that the Eaglesong (CKB) algorithm is added.

That's all, people leave the network every day, you talked so loudly in chat telegrams that you don’t need miners and don’t need anyone, don’t want to help you, congratulations, you got what you wanted, the coin is dead! What can you do without miners, you can’t do anything, just show everyone how poor you are with your capacities))) We all left, you were left alone, which you have been striving for since the inception of the coin. You can complain here, but what I said a long time ago everything came true, now you are selling your coins and get lost, here is your whole plan for your coin ... To leave donations from society to sell your coins and the abyss.
Don’t worry, they won’t sell their coins at such a low price, there’s no trading volume. In order to commit a fraudulent exit, they need a pump. But I don’t think they can get a pump. To do this, they need good news, but they are not. What the hell happened to GRIMM. It was like pumping a while ago?!? What pump are you talking about? You just look at the volume of trading on the exchange. There was no pump yet, wait.

Hi I am a new to mining.
I have downloaded and change the setting but when I run it said that No device found
here is
>miner.exe --algo grin31 --server eu.stratum.grin-pool.org:3416 --user username --proto stratum No device found
help please
What are your video cards? When mining grin31, an error may occur due to lack of video memory, at least 6 gigabytes are required.

I'm looking for an exchange I can buy grin. I used to use polo but us based so no can do. thank you
For me, the best and most convenient place to exchange and sell Grin coins is the Kucoin exchange.

All these your calculations and assumptions are possible only in the bull market and the price of bitcoin is more than $ 20,000. In a falling market, even halving will not have a positive effect. But I still mining Beam and wait for the bull rally.

Hello! A few days ago, I praised this miner, it worked perfectly! But today the problems began, when I start mining BEAM after a few hours of operation, the miner just closes. What could be the problem? Do I understand correctly that Gminer has a built-in watchdog? If so, why is it not working.

It seemed to be bad for them to be listed in Binance.
Everything was going well before they joined Binance. But Binance really didn't help them.
I don't think a cryptocurrency should ever get into exchanges like Binance before it gets strong enough and creates its own whales.
If not, the result can be bad.
I do not think that the price of Beam slipped due to listing on Binance. It just so happened, now there is a global correction of the entire crypto market. Accordingly, local corrections cannot be avoided, but as a rule they are followed by a rise.

(...)
This is a dead coin and proven scam there is no talented dev involve in this project. It was being created just to scam the people but big players always trying to create fake hype and this time no money left to make it pump again so be careful and stay away from this.
It did start out well though. Remember the time they sponsored a soccer match? And look at the number of pages in this thread. Support was huge. However, I don't see a lot of community supported projects which are successful. Another one was/is B3 coin (or KB3 coin), which is rumored to still be under further development, but most of the time it simply looks dead. Support was huge at the pump, but as soon as the cryptocurrency market went down, everything stopped. Many good projects are very low in price, not to mention the EBTC, which was originally created for deception. It’s time to end already with these endless airdrops, swaps and promises.

Finally, support for the Ether algorithm appeared in Gminer, it is necessary to test it. At the moment, it is one of the best miners with adequate support. Thanks for your work.

Now it makes no sense to sell your tokens at such low prices, maybe with the next bitcoin pump some of the tokens will also be pumped. They had to be sold in January 2018.

You are absolutely right in condemning fraudsters in the crypto industry. These pathetic scumbags undermine confidence in normal projects and worsen the overall climate and investor sentiment of the crypto industry.
|
|
|
I think that this project is simply trying to use the name of the most popular torrent downloader for hype. Maybe I'm wrong, however, he is in the top 50 coins on the coin market.

Currently OC1 setting only applied to 1070 and 1080ti on BeamHashII algorithm, for all other cards and algorithms this option is ignored. When it applied miner select alternative kernel version that may better work than default kernel with your OC settings.
It is sad that old cards like 1050 and 1060 are no longer a priority and are not supported by miner developers. But for now they are much more in working than video cards of the 2000 series.
|
|
|
Tell me how are the listing plans going? I heard you weren't able to collect enough coins for a hotbit listing.
At the moment, the development team could not get a listing on Hotbit and declared listing on exchanges not a priority. That's all for now.
|
|
|
Personally, I would be very happy if government had full control over the crypto industry and it became a legitimate business. Because at the moment there are too many fraudulent projects, it is now very dangerous to invest. Perhaps after regulation by the state, the volatility of coins will decrease.
