21  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mother of 15 Kids: “Somebody needs to pay for all my children." on: December 02, 2011, 04:55:50 PM
We should all take personal responsibility for the children in our community. If you are not a parent, then at least do something directly to be involved with helping children become a part of the community. I have little respect for any older adult that lived selfishly and did nothing significant to help children. I would not enter into any serious business venture with such a person because I simply would not trust someone that lives that way.

See no need for slavery.
22  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mother of 15 Kids: “Somebody needs to pay for all my children." on: December 02, 2011, 04:26:52 PM
Regarding the "children have potential" argument - what about the kids with little chance of significant contribution, like those born with severe mental disabilities?

This should be about children's rights, not expected futures. Children have enough to deal with without feeling indebted to society for existing.

Children are humans. They are not different. And they are not in dept to anyone , and none owes  them nothing.
That means we should help all children but not forced to.

I, personally would rather pick and choose who I paid (much like I do when shipping goods) but outside of satisfying personal preference, I don't think there would be a large difference in most people's wealth.

That's like saying that if a woman is raped or she falls in love and has consensual sex, there's no difference in how pregnant she'll get.

Wheal she is pregnant regardless of the way she got there. You can't be half pregnant.

The difference is what preceded the sexual act which preceded the pregnancy . Physical  Violence.

Those that come after Violence is irrelevant at least to me. It's not worst to be raped than being forced to sign something or to take a pill .

Wake up .... there is no such thing as moral ... immoral . It's just You and me and many others just like us.
One is in dept only to his offspring. And not the other way round.
BUT we should help each other if we want to be helped.
The more humans ... more genetic material ... more possible combinations ... more changes of genius ... faster progress .

Now we just have to find a way to power ourselves and spread the knowledge so that the geniuses that might appear have access to it .
Morality is stupid ... it disqualifies something because is said or done by some immoral person.

A whore is immoral but that doesn't mean that what she says is incorrect . Not even what she does ain't damaging anyone so why do we treat them as lower end women?
A thief is immoral but that doesn't mean he can't have a say about politics . We should look at what he proposes and not at his history. Sure don't trust him with wealth without supervision Cheesy
A drunkard is immoral but that doesn't mean anything . Just that he is drunk . If what he says is correct then does it matter if he is drunk or not?

I don't feel like feeding myself nor fetching water. Heck, I even wear a diaper that needs to be changed. I am going to die of dehydration and in an adult diaper full of shit glued to my ass unless somebody pays for my survival. You don't feel like helping me nor can you afford to care for me. Oh but luckily you're so compassionate that you'll force other people to care for me. You take your team of buddies with guns to extort funds from your neighbors so I can get my ass wiped, watered and fed.

Is this moral? If not, what should of been done that doesn't require force?

If you have to ask, you're not ready to know yet.

Maybe you should add an option to opt out of USD denomination ?
28  Other / Politics & Society / Re: You want power over people... on: November 23, 2011, 10:32:42 AM
Governments.

Governments can exist without controlling the monetary supply, they would just be more limited.
But for maintaining any control over the monetary supply help from government is necessary.

If you control the money supply you control the government for as long as people care about money , since money is whatever you can think of that can be exchanged (redemption , power , currency , wealth , etc).

If it's free then people will buy from wherever they want. If they want to protect the environment they buy from eco friendly companies . IF they don't want they buy from non eco . And you do as you please , you want to protect the trees , preach about it. It doesn't work the environment is screwed . The environment is screwed we adapt like we did before.

31  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What's a fair way to handle things if the goods don't show up? on: November 16, 2011, 10:07:04 AM
The only other situation is the 'brick' problem . . where the seller might send a brick instead of the goods. Who do you believe if everything is in order . . . paid for, package sent, signed for . . . but buyer claims all he got in the package was a brick? In theory you could say the buyer should check the contents of the package before signing, but does anybody really do that?

Really the only solution to that is a man in the middle escrow.

Seller ships to escrow.  Escrow verifies and ships to Buyer.

If buyer says he got a brick well escrow knows that isn't true.

The downside:
1) more work for escrow
2) double shipping costs
3) double shipping time

Exactly. and what i said and what edd said .

If I had a auction site i think i would let people get burned and "test" buyers randomly myself . And if they fuck me up they get banned for ever . And all his personal details (address , names, nicks , whatever i can get my hand on) saved and published in a scampers database. Sure for the ordinary transactions i would implement a feedback system.
Sellers hate eBay exactly because of the escrow system.

You enforce Ideas .

I'll enforce life first and foremost. Fine?
33  Other / Politics & Society / Re: when should you shoot a cop on: November 15, 2011, 10:16:57 PM
Not in theirs in our.

Try that as a sentence with a subject and a verb please.

No .

So you can't put a sentence together and feel qualified to tell people who believe they are free that they are deluded.

Nice.

I think I'm qualified to say whatever the fuck I want. It's up to each and every one of us to decide weather It's correct or not.

So you want a sentence ? I doesn't matter if i stop believing as long as others around me still believe. If they are stronger (in numbers or more armed ) they will force their beliefs on me. It's never about them , it's always about US .. AL of US.

And states don't exist ... merely in our minds. Just like God , Laws , Kings , Morals , etc. , etc..

To say that something only exists in our minds is not to take away from it being real.  Ideas matter - in many ways they are all that matters.

And where did i stated they don't matter ? Actually i stated that these are the ones that matter . Ideas . Being the ones that matter doesn't mean they aren't stupid. And why? because life will always be more important then any idea. At least for me.

Imagine the following scenario on an eBay-like BTC site.

Seller lists item for sale on site.

Buyer purchases item and sends site BTC to hold in escrow.

A month passes, buyer complains the item didn't show up. Seller insists he sent it, but has no proof of dispatch.

What to do with funds in escrow?

What's a fair policy to handle this.

Weal .. no proof of dispatch? Then maybe no dispatch ? => Money back to buyer ?

Proof of dispatch ? => money to seller ?

No?

But the truth is the problem is far more complicated.

For example the  escrow can't know for example if the dispatched item is of the quality that it was portrayed in the listing. or even if the dispatched item is the item listed . The only real solution would be to dispatch it to thought the escrow which raises costs.

The answer is no escrow let people get burned and the genuine will raise to the top.

So Bind, you falsely believe you are free.

What exactly are we meant to do about it?  If you are happy with your life, whats the problem?

I actually understood that he knows he ain't free yet but he knows why. Because other slaves enforce slavery.

I would continue and say that whenever we create society (state , religion , law , country , nation, morality ,etc. etc.) we also create slavery . As long as we will view this Fictions as more valuable than individual life and free will we won't be free.

And the sad truth is that most are afraid to take decisions , so they love it when someone else , or the community takes the decision for them.
40  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Intellectual Property - In All Fairness! on: November 13, 2011, 01:35:51 PM
Um - actually you are insisting that you are entitled to take the product of other people's labour without their consent.

I find it useful not to think in terms of labor but capital.

Labor is just the act of transforming and mixing the capital that you own, to form new capital.

You can only own capital.  You cannot own labor because labor is an action and not a thing.

Hawker, when you pay your computer programmers to make a product, do you really think it is a product of their labor?

Really? Do they start from scratch and write it in machine code?

No, presumably they use a higher level language such as C++. Well, C++ is information capital that was created by somebody else.  Do you pay the people who made C++?  C++ itself was created from previous capital. C++ was written in assembly language. Do you pay the people who wrote assembly language?

Presumably your programmers use libraries. Presumably they use design patterns.  Presumably they use concepts like recursion that were invented by other people.   They make liberal use of information capital that is not owned by you, without compensating the creators.

What percentage of the final product is really a result of your own effort rather than the effort of others?

You claim exclusive ownership over information capital the same way you claim exclusive ownership over you car.  I will respect that the day you grant others exclusive ownership of information capital, ie the day you write all your software in machine code and use different programming methods from the ones taught at universities.

Bro' you can't win whatever logical argument you bring.
It's like arguing with priests that god doesn't exist. You can't win. You can't win not because you aren't smart enough but because he will loose all his power if you do.

In the end it's only fiction like all the laws . and you are capable to not believe it . Just be cautious .

There will always be fanatic believers that scream blasphemy and will want to burn you on the stake , when your beliefs don't agree with theirs.

There is no god , no state , no law , no IP , just people that believe in their existence and people that profit from their beliefs.
