21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts to invest. on: May 27, 2019, 09:57:28 AM
if you are good at choosing altcoins that still have very cheap prices but have the potential to be expensive it doesn't matter but if you don't have that skill I advise you to invest in ethereum because prices are more stable and won't fall in a short time
choosing altcoins at low prices is now very much on the market. but choosing cheap coins that have the potential to rise is very difficult. because too many coins are falling now and it's very difficult to raise their value.
if we can't find this kind of coins , maybe investing in major altcoin such as eth, eos, bnb coin, ripple . ltc could be good alternative for us.we have much choice in this market about coins.and if we want to pick silent giant its very difficult to find, maybe need alot of research.
Its not hard to find the slient giant or the sleeping giant rather because we always mention it at all times . the sleeping giant that im talking about is the bitcoin and i know that everyone agrees with it since bitcoin is the only giant crypto in terms of price , popularity , usage and many more  but your suggestion above is also good . they are all a good alternative to bitcoin
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will Boom ! on: May 27, 2019, 09:25:08 AM
I personally keep a few units of Ethereum in my account, but I do not know at what price I want to sell it...
Thats strange . what is the purpose your etherium on your wallet if you dont set your own goal ?  The price of eth is not really confusing because its growing steadily  . btw , may i know at what price you bought your eth ?  I

hainlink impact on ETH won't be that huge to cause a boom in price ,I believe ETH can do that on its own when the time is right and by right timing I mean 2020 I believe ETH will prove better. i hope so

Eth is already pumping on its own without the help of other platforms because there will always be demand for him due to the reason that eth is also a useful type of crypto  but eth's price can also be boosted if other platforms or companies  will do partnership with it  .

23  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can I extract cash from exchanges without going through a bank? on: May 27, 2019, 08:30:38 AM
You should be able to do that by spending bitcoin one-on-one or peer-to-peer or on exchange like localbitcoin,  paxful.  You could use either exchange to sell bitcoin physically to the buyer

You mean to sell bitcoins from person to person face to face ?  Isnt that risky ? You will never know if the person that you are dealing is a criminal and what if they will beat you up upfront after sending them the coins ?   I think its better if we can only sell our bitcoins online and nowadays there are now alot of service , some are from wallets/exchanges and they allow multiple cash out options without the need of banks  .
24  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies now days are more than money! very high cost and fees high now! on: May 27, 2019, 06:00:06 AM
Nowadays ? What about before ? On the past years when crypto started to became popular and its price boosted , crypto is already considered as more than money due to its high price and also on its different usage  . you can add in the expensive fees ( as what you said )  but despite all of that , i think money is still superior and cant be replaced by any other payment method/currencies not even cryptos .
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big is the role of the government in the development of Bitcoin? on: May 27, 2019, 05:10:44 AM
I think the role of governments is important because if governments ban it then the people can't use it and this stop the mass adoption, but if governments accept it and let people pay tax directly with then play an important role.

Before when bitcoin/cryptos are not yet popular , people can now already access and use it . keep in mind that there are no government involved here  but today governments are now involved because they can make bitcoin more legal and acceptable in a certain country  .

what im i trying to say is that the government role is only half or even 1/4 on the development of bitcoin/cryptos  . we dont also need to pay taxes but tax maybe subjected depending on what country you are residing  .
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins for buy now on: May 26, 2019, 11:53:23 PM
There are a lot of potential coins like XRP, Tron and ETH, you can buy 2 of the 3 coins I mentioned earlier
why only 2? I think there are many potential assets that we can invest.
Why not ?  What if you are in a tight budget and let say you only have less than 100 usd in capital ?  Do you think you can afford alot of alts ?  No right ?  If you try to spread your small capital on vast majority of alts , i  think you will only have less to little coins on your portfolio . Thats bad because no matter how high the price pump , the value of your assets still wont show any noticeable gains  .
27  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance hacked. 7000 BTC stolen. on: May 26, 2019, 11:29:19 PM
Well, this is the probably the reason of why the initial bullish was interrupted as i believe that the hackers are selling them right now making the market prices to fall once again. Hopefully the other exchanges will improve more their security system.
Might or might not be one of the reasons why that price rally didn't continue. This isn't really surprising that hacking incidents do mostly happens
when btc price is surging up and its unlikely to happen when the market is being dumped.Good thing that Binance do able to handle the situation
well and there were no users funds been affected.
Hackers are tempted to hack once they see that the price of cryptos is pumping but there are also times that a hacker can attack even when the market is in bad condition because they do need the cash badly  .

Its also normal for the bull/pump to be interupted because people will always sell their assets once they see that the market is improving  or maybe your right that the interuption is caused by the recent binance hacked  .
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big Merchants Now Accepting Bitcoin on: May 26, 2019, 10:27:43 PM
~ snip ~
I agree with you. I think BTC will take over hard money one day.
no meyt its not possible imho because btc is not suitable for every kind of people .  Btc dont also have a physical form and that makes even more harder for every average joe to have and use this kind of currency not unlike to to cash/fiats which is accesible and user friendly  .

The mass adoption of Bitcoin for businesses and others is our hope
Hope for what ? For the pump/bull ?  . These mass adoption are only optional because bitcoin and cryptos can perform verry well with or without them  . Have you noticed before when cryptos are not yet popular ?  There are still a demand for them and the price still sky rockets  .

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Has Done me More Good than Harm?what about You? on: May 26, 2019, 10:05:48 PM
I i think itll depend on the user . Some guys and gals are using crypto for bad use like for example buying drugs or buying illegal service on the dark market . This things can do harm for them in the long run but there are also people that engage in crypto for thier own good or to be able to improve thier life . Crypto can do good for them and i can say that im one of this users but sometimes , doing crypto is addictive and being addicted isnt really good , crypto can harm us this way even if use in a good way .
30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When did you start trading? on: May 26, 2019, 02:13:26 PM
I still haven't traded much and still haven't been called a real trader.
You mean your a fake trader just because you dont trade too much ?  lol no meyt . your still considered as a real trader once you already start to trade .

Quote
I really want to try the transaction but the knowledge of chart analysis is empty. I have read hundreds of articles about bitcointalk and Medium. But I still can't draw conclusions.
You said earlier that you did start trading though not too much .  or maybe you did trading but you cant manage to earn a descent income ?  Well if thats the the case then you need to try more harder .  just keep on studying and learning new skill related to trading and you will soon master it
31  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what do you make out of Binance hack on: May 26, 2019, 01:37:29 PM
in my opinion these hacks are being orchestrated by powerful ententies to discourage the general public to invest in cryptocurrencies.

That maybe the other reason on why there are hacking incidents on cryptocurrencies  but what about on other business or on other payment methods ?

There were also hacking and scamming or any other cyber crimes that are present and the motive of the criminals on why they do it is because of the money .

still no matter how many hacking incidents occur in cryptos , people are still courageous to invest and to continue what they already started .
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: October and December are the months of Crypto ??? on: May 26, 2019, 01:09:54 PM
In the year 2017 ? Yes because cryptos starting to pump on these months but on other years ( older and later than 2017  ) the flow of cryptos are starting go random  . there are years were the growth will start  on the first and second months ( january and february )  there are also years that the crypto will have a bad start from start to finish  ( like what happen on the year 2018 ) .

Its not because of the dates but its because of the mood of the crypto user
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Binance Coin a good choice to HOLD? on: May 26, 2019, 12:39:49 PM
A good choice to HOLD in a few years but don't be sure for longterm.
do you think the binance exchange will stay long term ? If yes then thier coin bnb can also stay longer . binance is a good and trusted exchange so i believe they will last a long time . investing in bnb for long term is also a good alternative aside from bitcoin  .

Quote
I know a lot of you guys heard that Facebook will release their own crypto coin next year and I'm very sure that an exchange will emerge that will defeat Binance in that year or so.
Yes i heard it and i think its a big threat to all of the cryptos because fb is a big platform but binance exchange is also a big exchange/company  . fb will only release a coin , not an exchange so why are you worrying too much ?
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: negative views about Bitcoin always come! on: May 26, 2019, 11:55:08 AM
Negative news appear everytime when Bitcoin is pumped.
Not really . what i see is that there are more good news when bitcoin is pumping because those good news are the reason on why bitcoin had pump in the first place  . negative news ofently occur when bitcoin is in dumped . like for example a certain exchange was hacked and the hacker sells alot of coins , that results for the dump of the price  .

Negative news isnt all about bitcoin but its also for all the cryptos in general because there are lots of cryptos and people dont only foccus on a single coin .
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A New Bitcoin Rival Is Coming? on: May 25, 2019, 11:50:07 PM
Honestly I just heard this news and it looks like the name is bigger because it uses the global word "world",
Not only because of its name but also because of its origin which is facebook  . the coin is litterally big .

Quote
I haven't read the concept even the system at all but in my opinion this will indeed be a strong rival for Bitcoin.
Same here , i dont also read the info about this upcoming coin from fb but i can sense that this is the next big thing and it maybe a big threat to btc  .

Quote
People have known Bitcoin for a long time and have collaborated with many large companies even though they have not yet been approved, we are just waiting for who is better.
For those people who knew bitcoin along time ago , they are the ones that will stick to bitcoin but those who are new in the crypto scene , they are the ones that are confuse and will pick alot of coins including this fb coin  .
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To late to invest in Bitcoin or other cryptoCurrencies or related products? on: May 25, 2019, 11:00:29 PM
Its hard, I'm saying that it's hard to find good and true crypto investing site
Investing site ? Why not invest on crypto coins directly ?  Its not hard to chose a crypto coin that can pump 3x . bitcoin is a common crypto and its the most recomended coin for newbies and newbies at heart  . whilst investing on a third party investing site is pretty risky because other people is in control of your funds  .

Quote
It's never to late to invest. Crypto world always welcome people to invest.
Better late than later and better late than never ( like what the saying said )  . cryptos can fluctuate up and down  which is cool becuase every people can still catch up even if they are too late enough   .
37  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin transactions costs in the future on: May 25, 2019, 09:55:25 PM

Right now, it costs around $3 to send Bitcoins. But as the number of users increase, this can also go up. If you remember, during the peak of the bitcoin bull run in 2017, we had fee ranging from $30 to $50 for a single transaction. The mining pools were making a killing back then. But the strategy backfired, as the users shifted to ETH, LTC and BCH.

number of users does not affect the transaction fees but its the demand or the increase of the price , thats what trully affect the transaction fees  . also , not all wallet/exchange have the same fees  . some have less inexpensive fee because they use low priority or slower speed processing while others dont like waiting so they use high fees

If what you mean is free transactions and zero costs in the block chain, then everything must be free, because even the tools for mining also have an expensive price and it is impossible for everyone to be free because all of them use capital, even for themselves.

Thats impossible to happen . first of all , we need to pay for the miners so that they will process our transaction . secondly , mining hardwares are not free and wont ever be free because they are expensive and what about the shipping cost  ? They will just create it and deliever it to your door step freely ?  Lol  .
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBC - Facebook to launch Globalcoin in 2020 on: May 25, 2019, 09:13:54 PM
If this is real like 2020 that's long so for me better to buy different cryptocurrency now because in that time there's a big possibility that market here will grow like many users use facebook, instagram, whatsapps then they will see crypto like different investment and services here like how this works
Year 2020 is not long because we are now already on the year 2019 and year 2020 is like 6 months away . if your die hard supporter of facebook platform then i think its not bad to support this coin but make sure to prioritze the original cryptos because we all can benefit with it .

Quote
The negative in that time if this Globalcoin is similar only to some coins then this will not turn that popular and we know stable coin here in crypto are really many already like very trusted then that's similar only to this new
yes this coin is likely simillar to other existing coins out there but this coin will have an important use on the facebook platform because facebook does not have its own payment/currency . facebook only use third party payment method .
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can someone explain to me the motive behind airdrops? on: May 25, 2019, 10:11:00 AM
The motive is only to steal information
if an airdrop is a scam then yes that might be their motive but not all airdrops are scam  . Also an airdrop wont ask for your personal info not unless if its a kyc based airdrop

Quote
besides scamming people by asking them to buy more so they can get more airdrops.......
Airdrops are not encouraging people to invest more of their coins because airdrop is only optional . You can do airdrops if you want to earn extra coins

It helps in the circulation of the tokens/coins and also it gets the attention of the crypto community. The more circulation a coin have the easier it becomes for it to get listed on coinmarketcap. So its a win win situation for both bounty hunters and the project also.
I think its not about the circulation on why a certain coin will be listed or not . Its not a win win situation for both sides because the owner are mainly the ones that will get benefit the most
40  Economy / Economics / Re: What's it like to live on crypto instead of Banks? on: May 25, 2019, 08:45:39 AM
We earn Fiat not in banks, but at the place of our main job. A significant part of the population does not apply to banks at all.
But where did your employer get the fiat that he used to pay you ? Still in banks right ?  Fiat do only comes from bank therfor all the population or the country rather needs a bank  .

Quote
Also, so far only a few percent of the world's population use a cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency has not yet reached the stage of development at which it could be freely and massively used as a means of payment.
Crypto is now being used freely by most of the population because there were now lots of countries that legalize the use of cryptos but alot of users are saying that crypto is still on its infant stage  . That maybe true because on some places , there are still stores that does not accept a crypto . Some people does not also recognized crypto

Each payment system has its advantages and disadvantages. I think that they will all exist together.
Thats what im about to say .  Crypto and banks will work and help each other . We need banks for fiats and banks need crypto so that they can gain more costumers .
