so the Dusk blockchain is 3 to 6 months away. This is not so long and the ERC token will be on the market before.

when the blockchain will be launched that's when this token will take off really.

They going to trade by security tokens on this exchange? Seems next year will be hype of security tokens  Huh

I don't think they will left security tokens out. They are trying to make a hybrid Exchange with forex and all, i don't think they won't list security tokens.

listing security tokens is worse than utility ones no? wouldn't it make sense for these to be utility tokens?
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Jarvis - Hybrid exchange | Decentralized hub | Token with revenue on: December 27, 2018, 11:53:30 AM

To be honest i don't blame people for asking 100 millions if they just get more by asking it. But the investors were also greedy to think that it would be easy to rise value after so huge market caps.

That's really what happened last year, people threw money blindly at ICOs because at the start of the boom, on tokens listing you wer almost guaranteed with a 5X to 10X return. For quite some time it's not the case anymore

true, which means people will have to look at investments closer and choose better projects.

Future has a glimpse of more hope on security tokens as the US congressmen introduce bill to exempt crypto from securities law:
https://bitcoinist.com/cryptocurrency-exemption-securities-law/

Good news such as this could be a catalyst to the whole crypto industry and will re-energized the crypto markets which has been downed by several months of depression.

there are some good people in congress that are very pro crypto. let's hope it passes.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 27, 2018, 11:51:20 AM

the small dump of these days of the market is due to the holidays then more people who are trading but the trend is that of growth towards a bullish phase, however i believe that at the moment the team is developing the project in tranquility without even looking at changes in the market...

Yes, probably ... and without even looking at changes in bitcointalk...
 Sad

pretty much they should, though it is the holiday season. they're probably spending time with their families.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 26, 2018, 06:48:13 AM

it seems that the market is slowly growing and just hope that next year the trend continues and maybe the market enters a bull phase that would favor investments towards ehf and all the ico in general...

that's what everybody is hoping for really. remains to be seen if it happens.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Private-sale] |DUSK Network| Security tokens, privatechain, Bitfinex! on: December 26, 2018, 06:47:17 AM
am also waiting for the festive season to pass, and then see what will happen, but am hopping for the best

Small rise till Bakkt, big dump after ETF rejection...

What about money escaping the stock market looking for a safe haven, or at least a profitable if somewhat capricious haven? If the Bitcoin Cash gang finally get over themselves, crypto could make a comeback sucking up all that sweet sweet Facebook, Amazon and Netflix money.

don't get your hopes up though. there's a lot of manipulation in the market.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Jarvis - Hybrid exchange | Decentralized hub | Token with revenue on: December 26, 2018, 06:46:24 AM
Jarvis is definitely a standout among the usually greedy and delusional ICOs, setting a realistic fundraising target and focusing on the development of the exchange.

that way they have something to show after the ICO. and people's confidence grows.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Jarvis - Hybrid exchange | Decentralized hub | Token with revenue on: December 23, 2018, 10:57:59 AM
Considering a big part of the features for the hybrid exchange can be taken from the existing trading platform, how many people do you think you will need on the payroll?

I am asking because many ICOs have burnt through their money this year on their huge team while somehow not producing anything.

And many enstablished crypto companies had to cut employees, talking about Steem for example, 70% of them if I recall correctly. I don't even know how they make a revenue in the first place

it's normal to do that during a recession/bear market. that's why it's important not to expand too much during bull market.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Private-sale] |DUSK Network| Security tokens, privatechain, Bitfinex! on: December 23, 2018, 10:55:28 AM
Typical it had to be a Maltese real estate company

Sounds like you have some... reservations about companies registered in Malta?

I did some googling and it turns out Malta is pioneering security token regulations, something I was not aware of. I do know Malta for being crypto friendly of course, especially since Binance moved there so it should not have come as a total surprise.

Malta could be a haven for crypto projects but I'm afraid the U.S. might interfere with some of them if they feel some of their regulations were violated and will exert efforts to make the project members answerable to them since Malta has an exiting extradition treaty with the U.S. Imho.

the goal of the US is to have control like that all over the world. so projects will have to comply with US rules.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 23, 2018, 10:52:56 AM

there is a great interest of the community towards the project, i believe that with a little more communication from the team and perhaps some targeted advertising, the community and the support towards the project could still grow...

Let's just focus on different things for the remaining days of this year. Next year they will have to change some things.

they have to, otherwise people will believe that the project is going down.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 20, 2018, 01:33:48 PM

it is a long-lasting project, i believe that the interest of possible investors should be revived from time to time or with new advertising or with a small bounty or with the release of a mvp...

I wonder if in march when/if the mvp is going to show up there is going to be some change in the interest on this project  Roll Eyes

I have no hopes for any mvp or demo. I don't think that team is even interested to interact with the community.

give them a chance. a developer doesn't have to always say something about how it's going.

Good to see business development around STOs going on behind the scenes. Here on BitcoinTalk we have been a bit devoid of information especially after the EthFinex event.

Looks like smart money is anticipating security tokens becoming a new asset class.

So, they are getting good traction and investors are pretty good. It's good to see what they are achieving in early stages.

I think there are investors out there, even in this market that are hunting good projects , knowing their potentials.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Jarvis - Hybrid exchange | Decentralized hub | Token with revenue on: December 20, 2018, 01:19:39 PM

We raised most of the funds in the summer/fall 2017; a lot of this money has already been used for the exchange development, the software licenses we bought, the regulation / legal fees, + salaries of the team, developping prototypes etc.

But yes it was a very good start!

This was some private sale? How much funds were collected so far? And at which stage exchange development right now? Which job done already?

You can check how much they raised already here: https://tge.jarvis.exchange

There you can also find the information that they got $1,244,534.85 during their private sale.

considering how the market has been I think that's a great amount. congrats.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Jarvis - Hybrid exchange | Decentralized hub | Token with revenue on: December 16, 2018, 01:50:31 PM
An advice, don't make fake volüme when exchange is live.

Lots of exchange doing this and it is very easy to see fake volume. And it is causing instant trust issues with that exchange.

Yeah, fake volume is very easy to spot and it's a big black mark on the reputation of the exchange.

Just read a report today of top 20 exchanges wrt fake volume. Apparently Binance is not faking it's volume  Wink Wink Smiley Smiley

yeah but isn't Binance a pretty big exchange? I don't think they need to.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Private-sale] |DUSK Network| Security tokens, privatechain, Bitfinex! on: December 16, 2018, 01:49:25 PM
Can you explain how we can invest in this? No info in whitepaper about an ico, I`ve read something about a sto similar to polymath?
Its late here, sry for asking

They are only doing a private sale and 100 eth was minimum to attend. Also they did make a sale on ethfinex minimum was 25 eth but i am not sure it end or carrying on. It is similar to polymath but offering way better features.

they have to be pretty confident to do that, I wonder how much they've raised.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 16, 2018, 01:48:34 PM

i hope that by the end of the year the team will surprise us and publish on all the social channels a summary with the most salient news and the progress of the project that took place this year...

I would be happy to read it at least on one channel and I could post it here then.
15 days left ...

that would be nice and all but I think they are also human beings and a bear market like the current one can really make you feel depressed. It is a hundred times harder to acquire funds now than it was a year ago.

yeah but that's why they must persist of they wish to be successful. they have to keep us posted.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 14, 2018, 11:31:41 AM
It's not just that they are not marketing experts, the main problem is their unreliability.
They promised to get a community manager months ago, but it did not happen.
Unreliability is poison in every business and especially if you are a young company and want to raise money.

I hope we get some kind of update before the new year. it's been radio silence for too long.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Private-sale] |DUSK Network| Security tokens, privatechain, Bitfinex! on: December 14, 2018, 11:30:29 AM
From what I've seen, the crypto economy is only effected bad projects. Good projects with a solid plan and business minded leadership has had no problem raising privately. Only problem is that it is usually VC or Angel money. If you want to keep it crypto and retain ownership of your company, you are pretty much SOL.

it's surprising how many little projects have actually managed to raise capital in this market. I guess everyone expects for things to change.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Jarvis - Hybrid exchange | Decentralized hub | Token with revenue on: December 14, 2018, 11:29:18 AM
Jarvis has a set of features which allows users to buy and sell a variety of products from traditional markets as well as rising digital market. These features are what make it different and highly attractive as you can't find them on any other existed exchange at the moment. Jarvis if implements everything as planned will enter in top exchanges in no time.

let's hope so, would love to be on the ground floor for this one.
