Thank you.  I'm really starting to think Ripple offers something very unique in terms of speed and scalability!

Actually, his name *is* "luckybit"

I am curious as to why the innovative POW in Primecoin couldn't have been engineered into the the next version of PPcoin.  I feel that the chain is still young enough to allow for such major paradigm shifts even if there had to be some massive POS transaction into the new PP(Prime)Coin version.

Yes, this is my personal favorite of the ones proposed so far (now my avatar).  In my opinion, the "leaf" imagery may be too gimmicky and not withstand the test of time.  I donated to the design project and I'm satisfied with setting the goal lower at this time.  I think it's really important to establish/standardize the "P" symbol as well.  I like the 2 superimposed "P's" with the crossbar as in the above image as well.

Can anyone confirm that "Peer to Peer" is the original intention of "PP" or does it have some other significance to Sunny King?  If there is more of a backstory, perhaps it should be taken into consideration in the future design.

The US government should replace social security numbers with BTC addresses.

doubling your bet on a loss on a 50% winning chance is not the dumbest thing you can do, given enough time and money with no limit.

It may not be the dumbest thing you can do, but it's quite dumb. (Also there will always be a limit)

Nice YouTube video demonstrating a perfect Martingale FAIL in that link above.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xsfuSxLvp0
Learned something new today.  Thanks!

MOD EDIT:
Probably a scam

I still have 2500btc laying around which i don't need anymore and can't liquidate till friday anyway.

In what circumstances would one not be able to "liquidate" their Bitcoin?  Open a shell account on one of the exchanges if necessary.

Make a Verified User confirm for a newbie. In the form of a invite could help a ton.

Agree with this... plus a reasonable limit on number of sponsorships per time period.

I think botnets pose a much larger threat to Litecoin than ASICs to Bitcoin.  Botnets are already deployed by unethical players.
