Hey,
What will influence the future value of Lisk will obviously be their SDK which will allow development in the popular high-level language javascript. If this becomes a success, we might see a top 5 currency, if not, then you'll have your chance to get rid of them of course. A concerning part for me is their high TX fees of 10%, hopefully, they will lower this amount as we're reaching the release.

Can't really remember the name of the ones present, I just glanced at the use case on coinschedule.com. However, take a look at https://followmyvote.com they are working with the same niche as you want to.

As someone else mentioned DYOR (Do your own research)

Check for the degree of transparency, legit team, LinkedIn, whitepaper etc.
Check for community, activity level on channels, media presence etc.
Check for use case impact, innovative use case? competition? Market size etc.
Check for funding structure, amount of tokens, supply cap, how much money that they want to raise/compared to how much they need.
Check for the stage of development, any MVP, beta platform, whitepaper etc.

Also be a wolf, not a sheep, act on your own guts and plans, don't follow the status quo.

Hey OP,
Please make sure you have everything sorted the first time and present it as such.
This is your best shot to showcase the value that you're able to give potential investors or partners.

Make sure you cover all the aspects of your project in a whitepaper. ask yourself:
Did you do enough market research? Is the use case/product defined and peeled down to every single detail?
Have you created a funding structure/model that showcases a transparent understanding of what it will be used for?
Next, build a marketing strategy that shows how you're going to penetrate/enter the market.
All this information should be a part of your whitepaper, so if you've written a solid whitepaper and are delivering an innovative use case with a lot of work placed into every aspect of the project then you should not feel the need to be asking this question.
Also, try Angel.co for finding investors or try to see if you can find some similar projects and try to reach the investors that are backing their cause.

Hey,
let me share my two cents.
Actually, a lot of developers struggle when it comes to understanding the business aspect of projects in this current era, a successful project is more than just an innovative technology or use case. You must be able to sell your project these days and this is where your value comes in. I'm sure that there are many developers out there who are looking for people with your skillset, it's all about meeting them. Be active on LinkedIn, join developer slack and Facebook communities I can't stress out how important it is to build a solid network, so throw yourself out there. Try to nail down you project into every single detail, write a whitepaper, use it as a blueprint to showcase potential partners and make sure that blockchain is of any use in your project. Don't just implement it for the sake of it, not everything is ready for blockchain yet.
Wish you all the best and that you come up with the perfect team to bring life to your project!

Hi,
I just had friend like you who I helped to become familiar with Ethereum development. I would suggest that you go through the freecodecamp.com site up till intermediate frontend projects so you understand the basics of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and Javascript. Once you've done this, go to udemy and pick up a great course on NodeJs to gain some knowledge on backend development and especially the unittesting area. This will put you up for a great start into blockchain development as you will be able to dive head first into solidity easier (syntax pretty similar to javascript) and also be able to write test cases to your solidity code. Once, you feel comfortable with the high level languages, you can dive into the EVM and bytecode stuff to really master your craft! I wish you a happy learning adventure and greet you welcome to the best developer community in the world Smiley If you need any type of guidance, feel free to PM me.

I would suggest that you enroll in a course on coursera with relevance to blockchain technology. They have a very in-depth course that will help you understand the concepts behind the technology and also assign you tasks, where you can incorporate what you've just learned.
Once you've become familiar with the technology itself and wants to start out as a developer, please don't hesitate to PM me and I'll help you get started, I know it can be hard to get started and having someone help you towards the right path and away from all the circulating nonsense is something I wish I had, when I dove in head first. Once you're familiar with the concepts, the high level languages then you should dive into the low level stuff EVM bytecode stuff (this is where it gets difficult for most but this is where you become the best)

Hi,
Let me try to assist you with your concern Smiley
So first of all projects related to voting has been developed already, (I saw some recent ICO's of similar) but this doesn't mean that you can't make one yourself, there are always place for competitors in the market, as long as you can provide some degree of uniqueness and value to your potential audience. Before you continue, please make sure about the specifications of the project, get everything down to the detail, perhaps write a whitepaper and follow it as your blueprint. An idea is worth nothing if not executed !

Also, an idea is worth nothing unlike it is being executed.
Currently you need funding to be able to execute it, if you feel comfortable about the project and the details down A-Z, then it should not be a problem to talk about it. The least thing you could do is camouflage the idea enough for people to understand the general idea without saying too much.
Wish you all the best in your journey!

In this ICO bubble craze, you should easily be able to find projects that will reward you in some way by sharing their tweets.
I would contact early projects and present the potential value/reach that I could provide them.
Wish you all the best in your journey!
