21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why BTC value is growing day by day ? on: January 14, 2018, 01:46:28 AM
As you can see, I'm learning ABC in crypto currencies and studying this for last 3 – 4 months, even after reading all these web pages, forums etc, still I’m having one basic question needed to clear out. I would really thankful if someone can help me with this.

We all know, BTC is making a huge growth for past few years and as a result, people start to invest / trade in BTC. With my little knowledge I assume that no one is going to use BTC / couple of Sathoshi to purchase things as they are really good to keep (HODL) as the value is going high and high. But if you think of any of fiat currency, the value of money is depending on the use of it. For example, if everybody is keeping their money (fiat) in their pocket without spending, the market will not have enough money for trading and value of the currency will not goes up. Why the same principle not applicable for BTC ?

I’ve seen lot of answers like, market will not have morethan 21M BTC and that amount will be saturated by 2140, hence there will not be any inflation etc. But what I do not understand is, if a currency is not using (in trading purpose – you buy something with that money), what is the logic behind the reason of value of the money goes up ?

More people uses it day by day too. You do know that every piece of Bitcoin is so expensive and if you buy tons of it it means youre adding up the factor of the Bitcoin's price the cycle keeps going on and on growth of rate of Bitcoin keeps the users to put more Bitcoin in their wallet and thats the cycle that keeps Bitcoin valuable. Except some incredible issues.
22  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bubble closer than you think? on: January 14, 2018, 12:58:36 AM
BTC will exist even in the next 100 years... if it crashes everyone will want to buy a lot so it cannot crash

The only ones saying it's a bubble are the ones who missed the train and are envy right now
Yeah it will exist for more than 100 years although i doubt it will be useful fro more than 10 years from now. It wont be used more often than before from ten years as of now. Yup Bitcoin will probably useless or not be used by so many But that doesnt mean it wont exist. If your worrying on your money so much OP then so be it dont invest then.
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will help bitcoin reach 20k again? on: January 14, 2018, 12:00:53 AM
Which updates in the coming months etc. will help bitcoin to recover to 20k again?

The ads for Bitcoin in youtube and Facebook or twitter is not enough we need to endorse Bitcoin as well to improve our benefits towards it. Invite your friends friends and tell their friends friends to do the same as them. That will probably boost Bitcoin.
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 70k end of 2018. on: January 13, 2018, 11:01:45 PM
BTC will go up 20.000$ in 1 month.
Price will be 70 k end of 2018.
now I do not see anything bright in Bitcoin. they need to solve the delay is the number of transactions and fee choking natural growth.  with slow speed and transaction fee to pay for a transaction is too large, Bitcoin will not be able to compete with other payment methods such as paypal ... so I think 70 k $ is not satisfactory. waiting

Haha true were not sighting a bright future from Bitcoin just yet. For this year's worth $70000 is a bit much. Were seeing some newbs try to predict Bitcoin that even some Big analytic people dont know this system and yet you blabber like its just gonna happen that easy.
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market crash ? on: January 13, 2018, 12:21:24 PM
Can someone tell me why the price of BTC is Crashing ? Will it go back to 1USD =1BTC ?
Man too negative about it. We know it wont be possible as that many Bitcoiners from the past years have invested on Bitcoin but failed to redeem their money and others hot hacked or lost their keys or pass to their wallets. And it is not likely to go around $1 once again.
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of 2018, bitcoin $ 40,000 or more? on: January 13, 2018, 11:08:17 AM
A little lower, I read the topic of what people think about bitcoin for $ 20,000, after which time it will reach these heights again. But it became interesting, is there anyone here who believes that bitcoin by the end of 2018 will be $ 40000 or more?
This heights can be achieved however we need to endorse Bitcoin Join forces on All Bitcoin Users to raise awareness on Bitcoin and make a tutorial on every aspects on Bitcoin. Thats strategy will make Bitcoin more expensive
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: South Korea trading ban on: January 13, 2018, 10:13:41 AM
“There are great concerns regarding virtual currencies and [the] justice ministry is basically preparing a bill to ban cryptocurrency trading through exchanges,” justice minister Park Sang-ki said.[1]
News of the ban follows the raiding of local cryptocurrency exchanges by police and tax authorities over alleged tax evasion, as one of the key nations driving the demand for bitcoin and other virtual currencies attempts a clampdown.[2]

The value of bitcoin plunged 13.5% in the early hours of Thursday after news hit that South Korea is planning to ban cryptocurrency trading.[3]

Do you think the price will lose more?

Source of news : https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2018/jan/11/bitcoin-drops-value-south-korea-trading-ban-cryptocurrencies-tax-gambling
Another upcoming crisis all from asian countries never been better at banning. As long as they wont ban Bitcoin were in good hands. The price will lose some but only in alts. If that News is the real deal as in a legit one that so certain to it. It is better to sell now or regret later. Take advantage on the upcoming events.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will bitcoin go? on: January 12, 2018, 01:58:57 PM
What will be the lowest value of bitcoin before it will start to rise again?
Right now it is going straight low.
Check the poll. (top)

Choices:
• $12,500-$12,000
• $11,999,-$11,500
• $11,499-$11,000
• $10,999-$10,000
• Below $10,000
Bitcoin wont be lower than $14000 thats just not possible unless no one uses it. Stay tuned for more though it will rise but not a lot thats for sure.
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins Next Stop $50,000 on: January 12, 2018, 11:01:16 AM
During mid-December time when bitcoin was selling at $20,000 everybody was thinking the price would have reached $50,000 by now. But, the correction has some work to do on bitcoin price before the price gets to another level. Bitcoin is really struggling this month of January but soon everything would be alright.

We should look forward to this and we all know that it can happen any time and it's indeed unpredictable. Bitcoin is just in calming mode and getting ready for something more big. Maybe not this month but definitely this year.
Keep looking forward haha thats my motto if Bitcoin is the subject. That will happen if the ads is enough to emphasize Bitcoin in the modern world. So far im not experiencing some Regrets about my investment but i do hope that the issues in Bitcoin will be minors only in this year so it can grow.
30  Economy / Speculation / Re: [BREAKING NEWS] BTC TO ALL TIME HIGH!!! on: January 12, 2018, 09:03:18 AM
No thanks, pay $30 fee to buy $20 worth of chicken....
Haha true but they maybe having that problem fixed. On our country it is fixed on a wallet that doesnt have fees its like their have all the funds on their database and only number and addresses are change but they have all your funds to give and send with no fees. I know its sketchy but it has governments approval.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats going on? on: January 12, 2018, 07:38:31 AM
Can someone explain why every coin is dropping that much in the last hours? I cant find any reason except "correction", but a price correction for every coin and that high?
They bleeding indeed thats not a correction i think there is some group of people who organizes this attacks to coins and profit from it. Or the so called correction. We dont know the certain reason but one things for sure that no matter what you do focus on Bitcoin.
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats your exit strategy? on: January 12, 2018, 04:53:28 AM
I was sitting here...and you know..speculating. Because really thats what I like to do.

Anyway..I was just sitting here watching the price and all of a sudden I wondered what the "price" would have to be for me to part with my coins. This is a deeply personal number for most of us...merely a business decision for others. But all of a sudden a number popped into my head. It would not go away. I tried to banish this foul thing..but alas..I could not. This number would mean substantial fiat wealth for my entire family..I am talking generational wealth. I used to think 8 digits for a family to be considered rich but today I think more like middle 8 digits..

Now I have mined and hedl coin for what seems like ages now..almost 6 years soon..so the value I have to the current market price is..well..extraordinary to say the least. I am not saying this to boast or brag or any number of things, I say it to tell you that there is no "bottom" to the current market..even pre- December that would cause me to panic sell.

I have watched bitcoin grow from a small community of several thousands thru the MtGox debacle (yes..I was goxd..I opened an account in May of '13), thru the massive price spike that Fall where many bailed but I did not. Thru the lean bear years where there was plenty of opportunity to say fuck it..but I did not..I slowly bought more. Thru this time the community had grown to several hundred thousands of  people.

Now..thru the last year and last month..several hundreds of millions of people have heard and are talking about bitcoin. Two orders of magnitude over the previous metric no?

I say all this because yes..I am extremely bullish..I think use and adoption is going to grow and grow big over the next year. Once a LN becomes reality look out. Solutions are and will be build for bitcoin. I think crypto currencies in general are going to have a profound impact upon global markets over the next decade and I think capturing 5% of those markets(ie broad money) is feasible within the next year or two.

TL;DR  What is your price? Have you picked a number to exit?

I have. I will never sell all my bitcoins..some will be passed on to family. Some will be donated to worthy causes..but when..not if..that day comes..I will happily part with my coin and have zero regrets.

I have included some figures from another thread for context.
Quote
Broad money = $80,000,000,000,000 give or take a few trillion.

Bitcoin supply =  16,782,692

What I find of interest is how some of these percentage points closely match some of out ATH's.  Food for thought.
Damn that numbers though. Dont expect that much man it is still not determined if Bitcoin will last until our next generations such as our grandchildren. Even though Bitcoin will last for about millions of it on supplies we dont also know if Our country will accept Bitcoin Full time.

My target is enough to make me stop. I have goals and thats enough for me although my standards are high.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we see Bitcoin fall in 2018? on: January 12, 2018, 02:12:32 AM
Due to Ripples recent INSANE bull run, I have been seeing SO many FUD posts about how "Bitcoin is over" "Bitcoin will fail in 2018" and whatever other titles people can construe and conjure up to make people scared or sell off their position. It has been really irritating me so I decided to make a video about it, let me know your thoughts and happy New Year!

I wish they would not rely on Ripple too much. As much as i think If someone could just sell their RIPPLE i think it will break the momentum and Bitcoin will be released once again.

36  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to the banks if people uses cryptocurrencies more than fiat? on: January 06, 2018, 10:27:29 AM
If cryptocurrencies will be the basic mode of exchange in the future, what will happen to the banks then?
I doubt it wont happen. Banks more safer than crypto's. Not everyone knows how crypto's work not all have that mind to understand everything many will be confused but if its the trend it will gradually be used but not totally in crypto's.
37  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin domination era is over? on: January 06, 2018, 07:49:23 AM
Hi,

Bitcoin domination is under 40% and Ripple is exploding.

Do you think we are witnesses of the End of Bitcoin Domination Era? Is this a sign of bitcoin going down the drain?
Cant say it for certain but for some reason it is not what you think it is. It is a matter of possibility. If it were that to happen News about it will be spread like a wildfire. Even for a small news about Bitcoin we now see it as a threat or  thankful in any manner. This is a phase where Bitcoin is at a Good state this is normal going up or down is natural for Bitcoin.
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hit 20.000$ ? what do you think guys ? on: January 06, 2018, 06:29:36 AM
Bitcoin will hit 20.000$ Huh what do you think guys ?
In this year it is positive to hit that mark. It has higher chance it will double that price considering that big investors are planning to invest on it  ive  read it on the news.
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time for Bitcoin to shine again on: January 06, 2018, 04:31:22 AM
Took profit in some of the Alts last night. BTC dominance is way to low. Exuberance in the alts is way too high.
When altcoin went crazy, I would buy BTC, and BTC would go up and tell them who was the boss. Grin
Theres no doubt it will just sold all my altcoins with no regrets haha i just want to put all my earnings in Bitcoin while it is still on low growth. Take this advantage or else. But im positive i will profit more than trading than saving it to Bitcoin Im not rushing anyways.
40  Economy / Speculation / Re: best indicators to use to predict bitcoin price direction? on: January 06, 2018, 03:07:33 AM
tried to read charts using some of the indicators i used to trade forex. with some, like the basic stochastic oscillator and william's range i'm able to tell which direction price will go but some don't really work. i go to tradeblock and use some of the indicators there to tell price of some of the major cryptos. which indicators do you use which you think is best to predict price movement?
If it were to exist we would not bother to see the price everyday to secure our funds Or profit in a matter of seconds if we know the precise price of it each movement. We would be rich in only a matter of a penny. There is no such thing as your talking.
