Yes, I strongly agree. Not a fan of BCH at all.

I think Binance would be the best exchange for a beginner, very simple interface and great support.

Not exactly a fortune, but entirely depends how lucky you get and what airdrops you receive. I have seen some pull great profits but free money is always fun.

Every market requires corrections which are healthy and leads to growth, only if it has the potential of course. We see it all the time.

It's always a great time to be buying coins, we are still in early stages and it's just a matter of time before we start seeing rise ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

Yes, I believe the majority are in this for the money but it depends on how you are investing or if it is day trading you are interested in. I only invest in coins/projects that I have done thorough research on.

I personally find Binance to be the current fastest upcoming exchange today, they are always adding new coins/pairs and overall a great platform. Bittrex and EtherDelta are others I use often.

Hi and welcome,
So far you seem to be better than most, continue researching into anything that interests you, other projects and coins and their roadmaps, teams, etc. It doesn't hurt to learn about markets and technical analysis. People will only shill their holdings and advise you to buy those to better their position. Learn about the best way to protect your investments and you seem to already be doing that with adding a Ledger Nano. Good luck.

Doing your own research goes a long way, everyone is trying to make a profit so follow your own guidelines.

Seeing too many of these types of questions but $10k, 40% BTC, 30% ETH, Rest in Alts.

Most coins will die and people will forget about, those that are successful and have large support are the ones that will strive and be around for a long time. I do agree Airdrop coins are crowding up the entire market but nothing wrong with free money ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

This is a great idea, an extra layer of security I suppose. Can never be too safe.

Personally, I wouldn't invest in an ICO if this were an issue at hand, only invest what you are willing to lose. That's the risk involved.

A free distribution of coins from the developers of a project/coin to gain followers, interest and popularity.

Majority of airdrops don't require any ETH in your wallet, only some social requirements.

EtherDelta is usually the first places to list any new ERC-20 token

Binance and Bittrex are my preferred exchanges, Kucoin does seem as a future competitor but it is still new.
