Faaz and matreciman, both guys with less than 6 posts. One of them with 1 post; saying "they refund me".

Come on bitpotato, you scammed people with the price change and now I think you are making fake accounts to clean your bad reputation.
Hope an admin check the IPs from where those "users" wrote; i bet it's the same as you.

I don't think so. Coincidentally, I was the one who was holding the spud that you circled in your screenshot. Bitpotato refunded me completely, and while they may be having some issues regarding security I think they're a legitimate company.

Great to hear about the change to lower starting prices! I think it's a smart move and you'll see the community will support you in return. Do you have a rough estimate for when the site will be back online for cheap potatoes?

To further remove myself from a system that I think is flawed and corrupt.

If you buy the 3 hour potato even when it resets you have no chance of selling it. It's a great earner for the site but cmon guys this thing needs a rethink.

edit: tell a lie you may sell it but it seems in the last 2 days there's less than a 50% chance of doing so.

apparently someone told them that lower timers are a good idea.
29  Economy / Gambling / Re: All Bitgem-like sites on: May 11, 2013, 06:42:08 PM
bump, i'm beginning to notice not many people play these anymore

I think interest comes and goes. Saw it pick up a bit yesterday though.

Bitpotato.com is a new site and is legit and gaining popularity.

does your command line look like this?

--scrypt --shaders 384 -o ltc.kattare.com:9332 -u lailoken.1 -p totallymypassword

edit: make sure your port is correct, that the pool you are connecting to accepts stratum or long polling whichever you are using. some pools only do stratum now.

So this is supposed to be a gambling site or what?   :'(I'm not clicking that like w/o a better description of what the heck this thing is.

it's like a pyramid scheme.

personally I think it's a more fair analogy to compare it to poker. the pot grows, people bluff, people get greedy, and ultimately some people win and some people lose.

bitpotato your competitors are timing out your potatoes to advertise their URL's...

this, clearly using a bot too, locking them all down....

been like this for over 2 hours now, starting to get a bit concerned...my potato expiring in a bit : /
