A good coin requires community, dev team, utility, and ability to follow their roadmap. It's software in a sense. If you want quick money, Bitmex is great. Agree with this, saw MAG after researching a lot of masternode based projects and am very excited about running a MAG MN. With active community and devs making the right moves and some long term progress, I'm expecting MAG to do quite well. I don't expect it to 'moon' I expect it to grow over time, you bought at the top and the entire market corrected into a bear market, be patient and HODL... HODL doesn't work anymore and those who say HODL dump the coin first. The problem with most masternode crypto is too much masternode reward. It seems like this should buy people in. get them to mine the coin and set up masternodes. Great. Then depending on the coin the reward usually grows with time so does the number of masternodes. The coin is mooning then unfortunately miners and masternode owners start taking the profit. All one by one dump the coin slowly bringing the price down. The coins seems less and less profitable so new investors skip it for a sake of other profitable coin. Price falls even further. Less people mine it, difficulty and hashrate drop. More rewards for masternode owner when other investors start selling masternodes so more dump and prices even lower. I have seen it so many times, countless. Mun, Tune, DSR, DIN, DNR, BWK, even Solaris which I love as the most stable of them all. I think the solution is a healthy balance between the cost of the masternode and rewards, maybe automated reward system depending on the current coin market? Too many coins dumped - lower rewards? That would at least stabilise the prices long term. Edit: This is the reason I don't own any masternode yet. Trading brings me a lot more and I don't believe in this masternode system, it is completely wrong at the moment. I will wait for a perfected balanced masternode coin to invest in. HODL doesn't work anymore? Curious statement that's blatantly wrong, also, I haven't dumped I, like I said, just bought into MAG for the first time last week. I agree with you that the masternode projects have too big of rewards, they should be lower and help sustain the project and protect from profit takers when the market is weak. That being said, when the market is strong you will want those masternode payouts and it does incentive people to HODL for their masternode collateral and incentives traders like me to buy...when it's weak like right now it's easy to beat up on the current system. In my opinion, all this coin needs are marketing and better exchanges. Though the latter is kinda difficult lately with the rising listing fees.
Better exchange what do you mean? livecoin is great exchange and other where minereum is listed they are quite good, need to know what dev is planning to do with this project. First we need to know if dev would love to continue to develop any dapp or not. But Livecoin don't have big volume as compare with Binance, Okex and Bittrex so that from my opinion this guy asking for this kind of big exchange. Livecoin is good but not better majority of the people want to see this token on one of them. Guys, come on. A project with very little purpose or use case doesn't need more volume, it needs more purpose and development. Be real here. |

Was thinking about getting a masternode but it looks like a bit of a $hitshow right now?
All masternode projects that aren't Dash/PivX are a work in progress LOL wouldn't call it a shit show though... On another note, I just purchased 5,500 SYNX and am curious about the Syndicate MN Hosting, what is the process for this and the devs should definitely make it easier to understand what it is the user has to do |

That twitter post was unfortunate. I don't really particular care because I'm already up a lot on this coin and just letting it ride. At worst, some employees won 2 WTCs. There were plenty of names on that account. Even "WaltonChain UK" won. I assumed its another employee.

Is ICO still running? and what to do with Hedge and Hedge pro is it the same in one project? and I hear the issue about freezing Hedge tokens on the exchange .. is that right?
ICO has been over for like 4 months, there's no 'issue' HDG is complying with brand new Swiss regulations and in order to do so froze the tokens and decided to rebrand as well. Now that this project has mutated from simply a few indices that you could buy to help cover the entire market for lament crypto investors to a state of the art crypto exchange WITH the buchman indices, I am very very very excited. I don't like the rushed nature of the freeze but now that Blocktrade (HDG rebranded) is focused on being an exchange I totally understand and love that they're taking care of the regulatory framework right before the platform launch. This is one of the most exciting projects in my portfolio and it is so undervalued, interested to see what happens after the token swap!! |

I was not aware and did not withdrew my tokens from HITBTC. what should i do now. Go onto Telegram you can speak to the dev team directly, ask for @gaspersith or @kristandevleka (sp?) apparently you need to open a support ticket with hitBTC and take screenshots of your balance, support ticket and send those with your hitBTC address with your HDG and the address that the wallet of hitBTC that they sent you the HDG from. Hope that makes sense, really just go to Telegram the guys are really active... |

Let me first say that this is just my own opinion, not the one of others. I am not trying to spread fud, I am just one miner, do what you want with my message... but here is a copy/paste of a post that I made on the Sparks coin thread a few days ago... My suspicions are getting more serious since, those always anonymous developpers are getting more and more silent, and I feel it is important you research this:
Sparks, Rapture, Phobos, Cerberus, Crowdcoin, Race, Dinero, Infinex, Force, Stipend, Endorphin, VIVO, Innova, Cropcoin and the list goes on and on and on.... All the same exact pattern copied: Masternode/PoW hybrid, ''small'' premine, Masternode auctions through discords, Airdrops , Anonymous teams, same wallet code and bugs, Masternode gets most or half of the mining, only on stocksexchange (except 2 or 3 of thoses)... It wouldnt surprise me if it would be all coming from the same team/person or maybe a teacher somewhere giving his students a school project to each start a coin... Extremely suspicious, do your research and prove me wrong please!
It's not FUD if its the truth, there are a worrying number of faceless and nameless dev teams pumping out projects with big claims at a high rate. I decided a while ago to steer clear of these kinds of coins Agreed, this is not FUD this is a community member voicing a legitimate concern. I've been trading crypto for over a year and always considered masternode coins and finally researching the best ones to actually run. What I'm finding is (as you stated) that a lot of these projects are copy/pasted one after another and I legitimate can't tell any of them apart besides the name. 90% of the projects I've read have a WP that essentially just states "we have masternodes" but there is literally no use-case whatsoever, they claim it's faster and more anonymous and truly decentralized. That is wonderful but what are the next steps and bigger vision beyond establishing masternodes? What is the point in re-iterating something over and over again it really is unusual how many projects are the same in every way. |

However, what would make one masternode coin better than another, I mean they're popping up every week and you have to expect more to the project than just "well we're a masternode project, we have masternodes". As if that's proof of use enough to just say you have masternodes, some of these roadmaps are really silly and I would love to have some justification for operating multiple masternodes like Desire as I think they could be big money makers in the long term... |

In my opinion MasterNodes will be popular for the fact that you have a special network to confirm transactions faster than the regular NODES, also we keep coins look so will not have as much coins in the MARKET. Just look into DASH project. I cannot guarantee will be a good idea for you to do this change. Also take a look into coins that are DPOS like LISK. Those ideas are the future so the coins can confirm transactions in the future without the need of Miners maybe. Nowadays they already can confirm instant transaction and that's the future to achieve the local shops. it's hard to say but also for the fact that in last december started to pop up so many coins using Masternodes so maybe that's why everyone thinks become popular, but that does not mean price will go up. Thanks for your insight just trying to understand the reasoning for MN as an overall trend, I'm never looking for a "guarantee" I've been in the crypto game for over a year and understand there is no guarantee for anything it's the Wild West out here baby!!! |

We have some private repositories that will be made public at a later date. These repos contain Graphical User Interface data and website data. Right now we are still pretty much testing and learning EOS features, we will port the token and the Raffle&Burner on EOS, test it, once we have a working model to go with we will create repositories and start working on the production versions of these pieces of software. We think the wait for the EOS main net launch will be very much worth it. We're looking at Edgeless at the moment, they can't even launch their platform because of "Ethereum blockchain congestion". So it could be worse than having to wait until Summer for the EOS launch - we could still be developing on Ethereum. Great, thank you for the response I'm buying on Cryptopia now and excited to play when it's operational! Any interest in making a BlackJack game as well? |

I successfully logged into my wallet but it's been loading the wallet amount and address for like 20 minutes, anyone else having this issue? Regardless, I'm only interested in buying not selling. You would have to be insane to sell ETN in such a market like this. I put a bitcoin into the ICO just as a hunch but the team is busy making partnerships and the capital they raised for the ICO makes me think we will see .50$-1$ in the next 6 months. I'm REALLY excited for this one how did you do that? I do not see my coins ;-/ I think it was just luck, I have all my ETN's and a working wallet now!! |
