P2Pool will start after block 720 since it doesn't support 0 rewards.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Improved Whirlcoin AMD Miner on: July 24, 2014, 11:51:58 AM
If you want to use this version on p2pools you need the "--no-extranonce" option.

Just wondering if altmine's hashrates correct? Dwarf says I am mining with 5mhs but when I try altmine it goes to 2-3. And the individual worker page is also not working on altmine.

It should display the correct hashrates but it can take a while when the share difficulty is high. The link after the worker address is supposed to go to a block explorer which I forgot to specify.

sgminer with whirlpool (don't use fresh, it is currently broken as I was testing whirlcoin there...)
https://github.com/djm34/sph-sgminer_x11mod

sgminer --kernel whirlcoin

sorry no binaries... problem to solve before with linux release of ccminer

btw why did you use whirlpool1 ? it is called "old1"  Grin, it means deprecated

I get this error
Code:
[23:07:32] "/tmp/OCLjA2tNz.cl", line 98: catastrophic error: cannot open source file
          "sha2.cl"
  #include "sha2.cl"

Sorry for the late response, I've been sleeping (+11 timezone)

I'll update the op shortly. Not sure why my cpu miner doesn't work...

Also notice how the implementation of whirlpool is not whirlpool, but whirlpool1

May help out a bit

It is not working because you are using double sha256 to generate the merkle root. See this commit: https://bitbucket.org/dstorm/cpuminer-whirlcoin/commits/f7a19eaa45df852987e1c0f1710295b9cd054ae9

Can't believe I missed that. I'll compile yours on windows and change the official source (if you don't mind Tongue)

Yes please. Don't forget to include the other changes.

What is your address?

Why you asking me about my address?

So I can check if your miner is working correctly.

The shares was invalid. Update ccminer. You will see the address in the "active miners" list if it is working.

look

Is it fake or someone has ~3400000 coins already?  Undecided

Not fake, but he is on the wrong chain. Block 10 value is 3400000. I assume that the dev has premined this block.

I have compiled miner for WIN.
I m on http://whrl.altmine.net/static/ and my WHRL address is FXxBb8wCCLRqRkcXvHKkuCUCinNwSfJGPg

Code needed some changes and I need to test everything first.

I only get "hash > target" errors from you. Do you use the correct algo?
