After closely looking at what happened to the other pools, and diagnosing our servers, Pool42 is not affected with these issues. Don't worry if you're currently mining on our pool, everything is OK.

The new wallet is about to solve this issue.
Thanks for all the work put into this. Any ETA concerning the block sync on the 1.4.4 (I meant so it can be compiled on Linux before Windows binaries are ready ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ).

well the pools run linux so they have it allready they can compile from source but for the rest of the people on windows we just have to wait
You should also be able to compile it on Windows. It's just that it requires some dev tools and a bit of hacking around to be done. We already have it on Linux because it is easy as hello to compile it on it.

We have updated Pool42 to include a new script that will automatically and regularly check the hashrate of every clients and remove the workers exceeding the hashrate limit. As we can't overlook at the pool hashrates, 24/7, this bot shall deal with clients exceeding the limit, and that, more efficiently than we could ever do. If your workers were removed for exceeding the limit, you just have to recreate your worker(s) and restart your miner. Happy mining ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) .

We are currently working on a way to automatically enforce the 300 KH/s limit, stay tuned for more informations ! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

@Pool42: Please keep a check on hash rate. Smart miners gradually taking a leap. 300+
We usually check the rates on the website. However the hasrate reported by the pool is just approximative, this means sometimes the website will give results lower than what your miner reports to you, and sometimes the website will report it higher than what your tool reports to you. We apply a 5/10 % inaccuracy tolerance. I am currently doing a bit of reckon in the code to do some automatic abuse blocker.

Any idea about when Pool42 sends a confirmation mail?
Been hours since I checked. No verification mails yet. Any one?
No issues when I setup an account there. Got it within ~2 min Looks like, it would be better if I sign up from another address. Because, I have been waiting since long. Effectively, we sorted it out by email. Mails were not sent to your Microsoft Hotmail account as it appears they're restricting mails from unknown domains. We have submitted an identification form and are currently waiting for their response. Any other mail box should be fine.
