My favorite coin is definitely Ethereum, have been mining it for over a year. Have been holding everything I have obtained, one of my long term holds that I believe will play out very nicely over the next year or so!

I think the safest play especially if you are just dipping your toes in would be to buy either some ethereum, some bitcoin, or a bit of both. Other coins can be tempting, but the big two are by far the safest plays! Good luck!

I think at the end of the day, this has to be your decision and you need to be ok with that decision going well or poorly. I know I for one am definitely holding thru this downturn and have plans on cashing in some during the winter, if and when prices begin to recover. Good luck with your decision.

I definitely cannot imagine this being the end of crypto, as I feel things are just starting to catch on. Something tells me we are only now starting to see the tip of the iceberg. Looking forward 20 years time, I believe crypto will be widely adopted by all types of users. It is not going anywhere.

In terms of altcoins that are pretty safe bets, i would go for Ethereum and Tron for sure. Both of which are strong projects and I believe the price will be on the rise in the next little while!

I think we will definitely see a major recovery of the crypto market. I hope we will see the prices we were seeing last December and more! I know I plan on actually making some moves this winter versus sitting and waiting greedily like I did last year!

I think it would be a long shot for bitcoin to reach 500k in three years. I hope I am wrong, but personally I just don't see it happening. On top of that McAfee seems like kind of a nut, so I definitely wouldn't invest based upon his speculations.

I don't think we will see bitcoin hit $500 again. I know I would definitely be stockpiling them if it came anywhere close to that. It seems pretty far fetched to me however.

I have definitely been stuck holding the bag on a dead coin a few times. Kind of part of the risks involved with getting into new small projects. Sometimes it works out quite well, other times the coin is de-listed from exchanges and becomes virtually worthless.

I would say accumulating a little bit of both of these options would always be a good idea. I think both will continue to perform well and dominate the market as the big 2. I know personally I like ethereum more, but definitely would always recommend having bitcoin in your portfolio.

I think you would do well by getting some of both Tron and Ethereum. Both are very promising and at good prices right now. I definitely hold both in my portfolio and plan on continuing to do so.

I would have to say that it has been a rough stretch for crypto in general, but looking back over previous years it seems to always do this over the summer. I have a strong feeling that as fall approaches we will see the prices begin to rise again. Patience is key!

I guess my only regret in crypto has just been my general tendency to be greedy and hodl a little too much at points. Nobody is perfect, however if I had been smarter last winter I would be way ahead of where I stand now. With that being said, I am still ahead from where I started so really cannot complain too much.

I don't know that I would have the guts to leave my steady paycheck for crypto. It is tempting as I would be much happier working from home and trading crypto all day versus what I do now, but it seems a bit risky for me at this point. With that being said, a good friend of mine did quit his job about a year ago and went full time into crypto. I would say he has done really well financially and has no regrets! Sometimes with great risks come great rewards.

I don't have any fear that ethereum will be dead anytime soon. I definitely have a strong belief that it will continue to grow both in value as well as real world applications. With so many other coins based off of it's tech, this coin won't be going anywhere.

I have a strong personal belief that ethereum will definitely reach this mark in 2018. Ethereum is what got me into crypto in the first place, and I plan on holding on to my little bag of it for quite some time. I think in the future we will look back and see that $2500 is just the tip of the iceberg for this coin particularly.

Definitely have high hopes for this coin, had been mining it for some time and plan on holding onto it for the long play!

I would say unless it is a really small coin with really low volume, you would not be considered a whale, as your trading would most likely not have any major impact on the price of the coin.

I definitely have my fingers crossed that the market will recover, it has been a rough couple of months for us. I for one, cannot wait to see prices like we were seeing in December, even close to that would make me happy.
