Is this a kind of joke? I mean, they should do this after the Korean Government gave their interests on Cryptocurrency and released a lot articles about South Korea accepting Bitcoin on trading etc. I do not know now if there are any kind of stupid who just jump on Bitcoin without even studying it, there is another article that is connected on the same nature that there is a south korean staff who had a mistake about cryptocurrency stuff because he/she fialed to study about it, i forgot what article is it, please correct me if im wrong.

We have not seen bad news lately, but most Crypto currencies are losing value. We have to ask ourselves, why that might be?
The theory is that Wall Street traders are using Institutional Capital <other people's money> to create a favourable environment for them to buy bitcoins for themselves.
The South Korean clamp down is just FUD that are being used as an excuse to dump some coins. <not their own> There is no threat, because the South Korean government is just tightening regulations to protect their consumers from unregulated exchanges.
We know Wall Street traders are getting large Bonuses in January and some of them might invest some of that money into Bitcoin for themselves. Why would they not manipulate small markets like Bitcoin <with other people's money> to buy cheaper bitcoins for themselves? <Dumping coins to push down the price and then buy cheap coins for themselves and then buying coins again with other people's money, driving the price up again and then selling their coins at a large profit?>

Yes, Somehow I agree on that part, They are businessmen after all and they are after the money and profit. There is a theory that i read here about Wall Street sucking out the money in Bitcoin and I think it is happening now. Maybe, they are just doing it slowly so cryptocurrency enthusiasts will not be shocked on the "possible" Bitcoin crash. Anyway, I think it still will not happen, If Bitcoin price will go down, a lot of new Investors will come in to buy it, it will be a cycle , I hope the community will do something about this if this theory is true. |

But this is becoming an occurrence every few months where somewhere in the world they have banned crypto, only to be amended after a few days that "nope we didn't mean it like that"
Yet the market still panics every time.
We cannot put out that reality, That's the reality on Cryptocurrency, someone will always be swayed from these kind of FUDS and that is normal. I think Korean Government is just trying to release some FUD to all investors and get the chance on Buying Bitcoin on lower rate. They have an option on regulating exchanges to control the amount of won being traded. |

Technically, It will not have any effect but we can assume and speculate that a lot of people are using coinmarket as their main source of price monitoring, we can say that these people got affected and easily moved by their emotions when they saw that Bitcoin's price decreased on CMC rapidly and as i always say , it is pretty normal and we cannot control these people on how will they control their emotions in this kind of events. For me, I think Bitcoin will still continue to rally up, despite of several downs , we can see that Bitcoin is always recovering.

This type of tactics is not old on Cryptocurrency world, This kind of people are just threatening to ban it to create mass FUD which will create panic cash out that will result into the decrease in price of Bitcoin. They need to regulate it rather than banning it, I thought South Korean Government is fully supporting Cryptocurrency and now they are planning and deciding on banning it? Redistributes Wealth? I don't think so.Bitcoin cannot redistribute wealth, but the people who uses it. Wealth Redistribution depends on how you cash out your money. Yes, the wealthy investors can cash out which may decrease the price of Bitcoin and wealthy investors can invest and buy bitcoin which may increase the price of bitcoin, But still it depends on how can you create an opportunity on these kind of events, I think there is a website that you can monitor the price of bitcoin which is bitcoinwisdom.com and you can use that as an indicator to buy or sell Bitcoins.

It will not work, if you are just trying what would happen if you succeeded on doing this thing. And You are asking for money because you want them to pump up a certain token or what which may lead to profit uncertainty. You have no credentials to do this, and do not drag people on your imaginations , do not drag people to waste their money on your "idea". I agree with cellard, can we just leave it as what it is now. I think it will create a big disaster and an imbalance on the Bitcoin ecosystem if Bitcoin developers automated to give rewards for supporting the network, Some of the people who will run the node may abuse it in which way i don't know how they will abuse it and also i don't know what would be the result of abusing or hosting a lot of node, but again for me , I agree with cellard, leave it as what it is now.

As we all know that crypto world is increasing rapidly but still to reach each corner of the world about crypto what can be the media?
I think telling a friends and family about this is not enough.
Keep posting it on Social Media, We know how powerful Social Media is, Having a great image presentation or an infographic which is well designed will catch the eyes of random social media users that we will never know have a great influence which may lead to a greater audience for Cryptocurrency. I like to have bitcoin with me for now and for the future as well. Bitcoin is good for me i have many problems and i want to earn some bitcoin for me to use for the needs i like to hold bitcoin in the future because the prices are increasing and when the prices increases i will sold these bitcoin in the exchange to make profit over it. Is this an article? I think this should be posted on Bitcoin Discussions board or Press Board. I agree on this and additional thing is a lot of investors that are not tech savvy and some of them doubted cryptocurrency , called it scam and fraud are now joining the Bitcoin Community and loving the opportunities that Cryptocurrency gives. We can now say that Bitcoin's year is 2018 , it stil lgaining popularity on all different markets that leads to great demands.

This article suprised me. I never thought that removing an exchange will take effect on the price of Bitcoin as whole, I mean Bitcoin as the price was changed generally is the effect of CMC. We can assume that after the price changed on CMC people got panicked again and started to sell out their Bitcoin which resulted to price drop of Bitcoin as a whole. I will speculate that Bitcoin will recover within this week, people should know the article specially the weak hodlers.

It's still depends on the user. If you are not anonymous or careful enough on your activities, the information you share on public and many carelessm moves that will reveal your address.transactions. it will lessen the anonymity that crypto gives to your transactions and to your identity as well. Someone advised me that You should use different address for each different transaction, that may sound hassle to you but that would be more secure.

I have nothing against bitcoin futures short plays,but the 100x leverage is insane.They should remove that leverage.I think that bitcoin futures trading had a short term positive impact over the btc price,but they will have long term negative impact.Lots of big investors are trading futures,instead of buying and HODLing btc.
Without the futures martket,the current btc price might be more than 30K USD.
We have the same mind on this. It has a positive impact on Bitcoin's price but as we all know, They are not Trading "Bitcoin" as is, They are trading Bitcoin Futures which is really , in my opinion, not relevant and connected directly to bitcoin, please do correct me if im wrong. One of this days, one of the big investors on Bitcoin futures will cash out and everyone will get affected by it , Specially the small investors. |

Things looked somewhat promising yesterday as it was holding steady in the mid-high 16k range, even breaching 17k. Now it's in the low 15k. What's going on? Are we still hodling? Newbie asking for a friend here.
This shouldn't be a "NEW" news/thing/event to you, some of them are cashing out and it's pretty normal, The price will go up once the correction and the cashing out have been finished, Honestly do not believe on the idiots who told you to cash out too. Only fool will believe that, There is a cult of BCH specially the people who are backing it to make it the new Bitcoin but they failed on doing it, even if they tried to pump it hard. "being 8 times superior to the Bitcoin cash" How could you say this? Any Proof?.
BCH will be forgotten, but as some of the exchanges who have a large trading volume (SK), probably it will take time before it disappear. BCH is one of the most memorable forks of BCH, however it will stay relevant, if you will not stop creating same thread asking about BCH. Move Forward with Bitcoin.

I think the headline is wrong, I think Mark Zuckerberg pertains to the usage Blockchain on Bitcoin. Some posters here are just posting without even reading the whole article. Mr. Zuckerberg want to decentralize Facebook and give power to the people rather than use cryptocurrency on Bitcoin as a form of payment for whatever reason it is. You need to read it again. It is possible that Mark Zuckerberg will use Blockchain to fullfill Facebook's mission :to “give power to people.”
