21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / IGNIS Airdrop what do you think? on: December 26, 2017, 04:51:52 PM
Hello folks,

the announced Airdrop is coming at block height 1636363 . Ensure that you keep your NXT on the right wallet. What do you guys think about ARDRs launch and the IGNIS airdrop?

In my opinion, this could get huge. NXT wants to revolutionize crowdfunding, financial technology and helps to create people their own apps. It has data storage, its own exchange and so much more.

Now the NXT price is decreasing and I am thinking about buying another bag of NXT.

Dear dbt1033,

thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. I followed you with ARDR, GAME, FLO and SYS. Have all for free now since I took my profits last night.
Hope to hear more often from you.

Regards

I boarded the NEO ship some days ago, bought VIA today and I keep my eyes open for LISK and IOTA after prices go lower
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If planning to HODL I think now is the time, which three coins will make it? on: November 07, 2017, 04:55:09 PM
I would choose Viacoin to invest in for mid-term, potential x10

long term x50-100

https://medium.com/@viacoin/viacoin-development-update-10-2017-a4652e7676d2

That's a lot. Sure it would be great because I am also invested in VIA and doubled, but x50-100 seems way too positive.

If I just may pick 3 coins to HODL it would be ADX, MCO (bottom right now after all the bad news) and NEO

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / B2X - My fork strategy on: November 07, 2017, 04:44:09 PM
Hello folks,

I want to show you my personal fork strategy and ask you for your opinion since I am only in crypto space for around 6 months.

During this time happened so much and my portfolio rose strong till September before the China FUD. Now there's some stagnation and I want to learn from my mistakes (for example I bought MCO at 0.96$ but was too greedy to sell at $20 or another example: I bought NEO at a level of $6 and sold at $17, nice gains but could have been more, also made a loss of -98% with Minereum because I invested in something I didn't have a clue about)

My btc prediction:

a) I see price staying almost the same till the fork happens (range $7000-7500) maybe we will have a short peak around the $8000 level.
b) After fork, that's what I learned is the principle sell the news, so that's when price is falling and the chart above comes in its play.
c) In my opinion, there are going to be two sell-off seasons, one till $6000 with a high volatility in between and after btc reached $6000-6200 it will go down to around with a lower volatility (just like in Sept) to the ranges of $4800-5200.

In case of bitcoin it's only a very short time, maybe 10 till 14 days. Then we should already see the bottom mentioned above. At this price I want to reinvest my $$ which I gained through selling btc at fork day.

The best strategy is nothing if you don't fulfill it so there are some technical and important questions for me and I hope you can help me out.

As far as I know from last forks there's always the risk that both blockchains are attacking each other when you are moving your btc at this time. So the usual recommendation is to do nothing with your btc as long nothing is stable. The new currency, in this case B2X, will automatically be credited on my wallet.
After this happens, how do I move my BTC from my hardware wallet to an exchange while the blockchain is not stable?
Is there a possibility to securely deposit my BTC at an exchange and sell it?

Hope I can help some guys out who are new in this market, please don't consider my text as an investment advice.

26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Biggest Jump after Fork on: November 07, 2017, 03:35:35 PM
If I would know I would be all in... but in fact I think there will be a general rise in altcoin's price in comparison to btc .. this would mean that btc falls again, $$$ will be almost the same. After the next btc rise we will see new highs in dollar value in altcoin space

my predictions (maybe I will find time to calculate potential future altcoin prices):

NEO, rose already a lot this year, but that's what also was said about bitcoin. So get it as long as it's still cheap
SYS very stable, people are waiting for the masternodes
WAVES ..it's only a matter of time
STORJ had a nice rise, seems like people are accumulating more at 6.5-7k satoshis
VIA fell from 30k to 20k satoshis, bought some again, if it falls lower I will buy more
ADX, very stable between $.80 and $1.00

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Via coin ATM integration incoming on: November 02, 2017, 02:07:20 PM
Already sold this night at $2, but I definitely will come back.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Calm the F $%K Down People, Lets Help The NOOBs Out. on: November 02, 2017, 10:28:26 AM
I thought I was tougher. Now Bitcoin is looking great, but it's only about 15% of my portfolio. Rest is alts and bleeding. Whole portfolio is -30% for now. Had MCO at +95%, thought let's wait for 100%, then came the dip. Now it's -20%...you can make so many mistakes in this crypto space. Now hodling, doesn't seem like a shitcoin at all. Definitly learnt from it. Hope we are right and in the long-term everything develops like we expect.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My VERY diversified portfolio... (around 70 coins) what do you think? on: October 22, 2017, 01:27:00 PM
First, get a ledger or a trezor to safely store your alt coins. Even if you diversified the exchanges, it could happen every day that you get hacked or the exchange shuts down. It's up to you but invest a little bit in security even though not every of your coins is supported. If something of them is mooning you will hate yourself forever when you can't sell them anymore.

Second, I don't know every coin of your portfolio but here's a short answer of what I think:

Link: Great concept, seems to become a serious market maker and if they only make one partnership fix it will moon.
XVG: good long-term, privacy coins are very demanded
NEO: should make a big part of your portfolio because you're not invested in ETH and BTC so you definitely should invest more in a large cap
Also WAVES, PAY, LISK, XEL, LRC .. great future ahead. Definitely longterm coins, in the 65 % of your portfolio I think the next gains will come from NEO, PAY, Lisk and XVG
The other 35%: a bit difficult to compare PTOY and ADX for example but I try. Think ADX should be a big position, SYS and FLO have great times ahead, onion has a great community,  Eos doesn't look for me bright, it seems like their ICO lasts forever, don't think DNT, BTS, SNT will grow much.

In my opinion, you should sell quickly after a grow / pump:

DNT, SNT, BTS, BTM

What I learned from my FLO, SYS and ARDR investment: After a huge gain (define for yourself a huge gain, for me it's everything over 50% and you see it falling a bit. Better sell: at least the half). Could have done more money with it. They are good longterms but their growth is shorter than the dumps, they can last a long time.

If you are speculating in moon coins you can add ARK now, ETP after a dump...thats what I see for now.
30  Local / Servicios / Experiencias con Chip Chap on: October 21, 2017, 10:56:20 AM

Saludos

If there's a good implementation of XLM it could easily have Ripple's recent price. By less than half of Ripple's market cap they have the same price. People who know nothing about fundamental analysis would think these coins have the same value. Great boost.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin 2048 game on: September 17, 2017, 09:39:17 PM
This is a great game! Got addicted after the second round. Keep up the good work. Shift is a very very interesting network and this game brings crypto into your hands. Is this game going to be further developed? There are so many ways to make money with it. Score I had was 3762
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves coin on: September 17, 2017, 11:52:50 AM
I'm very happy I got in on WAVES finally. Weeks back at $5 I set buy orders at $3.90 but had to remove them to use the coins for a quick loan to myself. Yesterday, however, I was able to return the coins and was pleasantly surprised to see WAVES at $2.95. I immediately a sell offer for 100 WAVES. Today, they're already up almost 10%. I'm not going to sell of course, this was always going to be my first choice alt post June. It's a great platform and yes, I'm also confused as to why the recent good news (as opposed to hype) hasn't helped the price. But 2018, my friends!

Congratulations!! Nice to see another smart investor coming on board. Even if you would have come in at 3,90 it would have been a great deal as well. I got in at an average of about 115k satoshis so now it's still a good time to buy some more. But I already invested nearly my whole money for this month. Just have a little bit left just in case. I see a big pump in near future (maybe nov/dec) and after this a healthy bottom between 150k - 200k ... It depends when they are going to implement anonymous order books, lite clients, side chains and lightning networks.
Because this coin is hard to predict I will sell the half after it pumps so I am having the others free and never have to worry. When it finds it's bottom again then I will buy more. Waves has a bright future ahead.

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Looking for REAL fundamentals on: September 14, 2017, 06:33:05 PM
I was an active reader in this forum for many months now but I couldn't ever see this kind of pessimism.

We should not be discouraged in this market situation. When btc and many other alts reached their ATH recently there was a flooding of threads from people who promoted coins after researching and presenting their technical and fundamental analysis and I could gain some nice profits.

On the other hand, and this is just an example, you can relate it to many other coin speculation threads, there were people who said NEO will be 100 when it was 50, when it went to 40 people said it will go to 80, after being on 20 people said 30-40 in short term. Now I read from the same kind of people that it will never recover. It seems like it was just a stupid speculation and these people don't seem that they believe themselves.

But I don't see much more risks than two weeks ago when the prices in comparison were much higher. Look at coins like SYS, AdEx, Waves pr Shift. Or any other coin you are believing in. They didn't lose their fundamentals or their real value, I didn't hear about any scams within the bigger coins. Why the worries??

I went out of the market around 2 weeks ago doing no trades except one small buy order. This made my mind clear and more rational and I do recommend this to all investors since I am always doing it when the market seems to go red.

Now I am motivated to find some good threads again from people who see big chances in coins with a real value and invest again.

Stay positive, try to rebuy now at these good prices (just as much as you can afford) and I am confident that we will see prices rising again. It's not an advice, just get your head clear.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Get Neo and Gas now or get smashed in the face. on: September 04, 2017, 10:40:55 AM
I am thinking the same. It's just an autumn sale. Maybe we are going to have even darker times but prices will recover. Unfortunately, I am not able to withdraw at kraken due to some of their system problems so it seems like I am missing some opportunities.
36  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: LUST ICO is a scam. on: September 02, 2017, 02:12:28 PM
First, I want to thank the bitcoin community for sharing the information that this ICO is a scam. Unfortunately, I invested some money into this ICO because when I found this thread some days ago I didn't notice that there is another thread recording this ICO as a scam.

Is there any miracle to get my ETH back? Thanks in advance.
