AE was in an ICO people. With any startup management changes, disagreements are made. However, despite any work-related-politics resignations, AE has been pushing hard on churning out work on github and other repositories. They have 12 TOP Erlang developers and adding more developers. Testnet was a huge success and they are currently building all of the apps for their coin release coming within the next few months. Some have drawn comparisons between AE and EOS and Ethereum. While I can see the distinction, there are some major upgrades and cutting-edge technologies that AE is bringing to the blockchain world.
With that said, if AE fairs what EOS did and Ethereum has done price-wise, AE will be in the top 10 coins nearing $4-$10 per coin.
Price is steadily rising and will continue to do so. Please do your research, but I'm sure AE will shoot up even higher in the next coming months.
I remember a time when someone bought BTC at $5,000 and I was like WOAH, wayyyy too high... Look at BTC now.. Same with AE....

Where AE stands right now.
Price has steadily grown over the past few months (with natural highs and lows) and has currently settled on $0.60
Testnet has been launched successfully and test-users are able to mine test AE coins right now and AE team are working out minor kinks while simulatenously working on all the the aepps for our blockchain platform.
Currently Mainnet is slated to launch Q2 of 2018 (just around the corner) and as we start approaching this goal, the price will inevitably match. As Bitcoins surge continues, the investments are beginning to pour into it and trickle down into all of the major alt-coins. If you are reading this you know that the cryptocurrency space is still in its infancy with the general population only being familiar with Bitcoin (not knowing about other alt-coins or what blockchain really is).
With that said, AE is starting to climb slowly and based on my market research it would not be surprising to see AE rising as high as $5 USD with a bottom of $2-$3 USD.
The Team does regular AMA's on reddit and our active/ growing community is very involved/ actively engages the team on telegram. Please post any questions you have about this project.

ICO prices are gone. Testnet almost completed. Mainnet will launch in a few months. There is always a possibility of a dip, but doubtful at this point. Take your chances or secure your position. Up 2 you!

In the future there will flow more and more money into crypto. Look at the statements of Lloyd Blankfein (Goldman Sachs boss) who plans to invest more into digital currencies on request of its customers. The gains for conventional business is decreasing and banks looking for new ways to make money. Crypto coins is one of the main options for them. A little more regulation and big money will come into the domain. I do not want to judge if it is good or not, but it will happen. I am certain of it. I'm Curious why so many AE tokens/Coins were created to begin with?
I have analyzed all coins with an excess of 200 Million Coins and none of them are close to $1 USD except for Steem. That's approximately 1 out of 200 coins. In some respects, its a bit like inflation. More coins = devaluing the value of each coin (similar with what is happening with the banking system).

You are right. I noticed it too late. The token were sold overpriced. If the amount of money entering the crypto space was to remain stagnant, then you would have a point. Fortunately for all of us, new money is constantly flowing into the crypto space. By Q1 2018, the market cap might be $200 billion. As the market cap continues to grow, so with the cap for the individual coins. I like this project. Everyone is raving about EOS, but I'm putting my money on Aeternity. |

I was hype by this so i didnt take a look first how many will be the available supply. As far as i remember they didnt show it to us? Am i right? Then they priced the token during the ico too much for a 273 million? I will stay with this coin, i just want to know how their minds run.
I'm there with you, I believe in the project and am invested. But I see a trend that the more tokens/ coins there are out there, the harder it is for it to gain value. Look at XRP (despite the fact that the coin itself is not needed to complete international transactions), the price of XRP has never gone above $0.32 USD With that said, I'm just curious how the team determines how many coins to create/ release. Why did they pick 230 Million Tokens. Why not 20,000 why not 20 Billion? What was the reason behind the $230 Million that is out there. Not to mention, that figure (i don't think) includes the coins that the team gets and also doesn't account for how many more will be created when we start mining. I believe in a project, but pricing is always determined by SUPPLY and demand. In this case, Supply is a bit on the high side IMO. |

I really fear for Aeternity investor, I might be wrong but the person that conceived this idea is gone and will require alot of work to lift this project because of some competing projects like Tezo, EOS, Boscoin, Qtum and even NEO and waves. if things is not sorted out fast this will end bad for investors
Everything good requires work. While the lead developer is no longer in the picture, the integrity of the team is there (just take a look at the ICO365 fiasco) and also with the new CTO getting things rolling. They have the funds to continue the work, just need to A) give them time and B) hope all goes to planned. We are the early investors. Taking a gamble. All hoping the gamble pays off in the long-run |

Not sure about the rest of these folks (as I am certainly in the red by a long-shot), but I'm waiting for Q1 to see if we are able to get the mainnet launched and separate from Ethereum. I know that dapps are all the rage, we will see what gets produced.

It seems like you know what you're doing. I would be frustrated as well if I was you. Vlad ( info@aeternity.com) has always responded to my messages within 48 hours. I don't want to say "don't worry about it" but I'm sure that they will get you square away. Certainly understand what you are going through on your end. |

Development team of aerternity is aware of the fact that they need to deliver something more quickly by accelerating the procedure. People those with vision and understanding the potential still keep buying more and talking less here in the thread. If everything is delivered which will be without doubt the market will be among top ten.
Not top ten, but top 5. Current team is moving forward confidently, with github active and meeting notes almost everyday from new CTO. I have a great faith in this project now.
Especially since the new CTO has arrived, I feel things have been moving forward at a much faster pace
In AE's terms & conditions, they state they do not provide any refunds for any investments in their ICO, yet with the unfortunate China ICO ban, they did the right thing to their investors and provided the chinese people (through ICO365 full refunds. This is one of the many signs of the integrity of the team.
Lastly, I'm hoping they are able to get some phase 1 applications launched in tandem with the mainnet. The builing of apps on AE's platform is the differentiating factor and key to our success (not to mention the community) |

I think I was in a similar boat. Basically, you need to know 2 things. A) your seed for ether wallet you created (I assume) through AEternity's site. and B) either the address you contributed from or the TX (in my case via BTC). I took a screenshot (see link below of screenshot) of the tx and was able to determine my original BTC address I contributed from. From there you can follow the instructions from their blog.  |

China are the. Biggest fudders in Crypto this latest BS bam "x" had little impact, they can only cry wolf so many times.
You know what happens after they say they ban it, they have a army of people buying the dip, make no mistake China wants as much Bitcoin as it can get.
While it would be nice to be listed on multiple exchanges (certainly wouldn't hurt) I think it's better to have the focus on the q1 mainnet launch. 100% agree with your quote "communication is the key to success" |

Hi Mosprognoz. Thank you for posting the link for my profile. Certainly helps me find my posts faster  Not sure what my profile creation has anything to do with my last post. Regarding your scam comment. If (again) you believe AE is a scam as you claim. A) Why are you taking the time and energy to simply posting on a site that you think is a scam? At the current moment there are several hundred coins on the market, with a thousand ICO's coming out regularly. Are you posting on those sites as well or is your love/ hate relationship only with AE? B) Can you provide an intelligent response regarding any information/ data/ facts (not alternative facts please). Simply stating it's a scam without any proof or dialogue is on par with a 3rd grade playground name calling. |

Everyone, We understand that the Chinese community is a disgruntled, but the current situation is caused by the Chinese government and not aeternity. We are working to settle it and will provide an official statement soon. Calling us scammers and posting posts in red will not change anything or improve the situation at all. One thing can be sure - all Chinese users will be compensated. Also, photos are not fake  Kind regards, The ae team Photos are without a doubt NOT fake. Dear trolls, potential investors, speculators, software engineers, and geeks-alike. I've been in the crypto market for few years. With that said, half of the technical jargon that is explained on various coins (including AE) are foreign to me. I am not educated enough in programming languages to discuss the pros and cons between Erlang or any other language. I have a high overview of how blockchains work (including BTC). Basically I'm not an expert (financial or programming).
HOWEVER,
I've been in business and work with businesses for a long time. I've hired, fired and trained my fair share of employees and am currently an IT consultant. I can say, without a doubt, that AE is NOT a SCAM. But if you truly believe it is, then I would encourage you to either [obviously] not invest. And more importantly, take the time to put/ invest (your time, money energy) into something you believe in (instead of trolling on various sites) Go plant a tree, do some charity work, pray. Do something (anything) positive.
In any business, relationship or project, communication is key. No matter how great your product is, if you are unable to communicate with your team and investors, there is a high probability your project, program will fail. Without communication your best employee becomes unreliable. Even when you are waiting in line at your local grocery store, it is important to simply be acknowledged despite the long wait. By acknowledging you, they are communicating that they see you and will be with you shortly.
So what am I rambling about in this post? Communication. AE team has been in full communication with eyes and ears on the ground in regards to what the community wants. Even with the Hack (that affected multiple companies due to the fault of the multi-sig contract) they stayed in touch and provided all of the investors with their AE.
They are bending backwards to get this project going. Blockchain technology is still very new, and what AE is trying to achieve is ground-breaking in various aspects. Delays can and will occur. They are inevitable. Developers come and go, but the team's strength is not reliant on one person (look at Apple / Steve Jobs).
Believe what you want, you are absolutely entitled to your opinion. And I understand emotions run high when there are investments involved. I have done extensive research on AE, and while all of the puzzle pieces may not fit correctly in my mind, they have satisfied any concerns I may have. Will AE be as successful as I/ we all want it to be? I don't know. The team and time will tell. But you are also investing at ground level. If you want a sound investment go and buy gold. Go buy Amazon stock. At the ground level (especially at current price-point of $0.40 a share, you are taking a risk. It is your responsibility to calculate this risk to the earning potential.
Good luck with the Team. I/We hope it works out and goes to the moon. I'm hoping we have our own tokens/ mainnet launched by mid-next year. If we are able to launch by Q1, it is certainly a positive. Also, Kudos to the team and the new CTO. |

AETERNITY IS A SCAM !Yanislav Malahov founder of AE calls himself a "Godfather of Etherium" I asked some ppl who was working with vitalik buterin and etherium team, nor of them knows who is Yanislav Malahov. This guy is trying to convince people with this article : https://medium.com/@yanislav/king-of-bitcoin-godfather-of-ethereum-a9af9ecf56d5 Just look at the pic where he is stating " First Ethereum Meetup in Miami in January 2014 — I am the second from left in the back row " (photoshop created by idiot) ... And just read the complete article. You will understand that some random guy just scammed you very easily ! The so called mainnet will be never launched because there is no technology no real development, just scammers who are trying to make the illusion of activity on github.
The picture is awesome... LOL !!!That picture of Yanislav and Vitalik is clearly Photoshopped. There absolutely no way those clouds are real. Absolute fake clouds, other-than-that it is legit. Go AE!! Sidenote: My post is obviously a joke. I believe in AE and the validity of what they are about. |

Didn't have/ know how I contributed to AE (I have several ICO's) nor the addresses. But with my long list of [stupid] questions coupled with frustration, Vlad was very responsive to all of my emails (usually within 24 hours). Got my AE coins finally.
That's a lot of work to put in to basic questions.
Just purchased some more at a fair price on Hit.
Whats the best way to store AE off of an exchange? (looking at paper wallets..)
I will recommend Myetherwallet which is best available choice you can download the website and run this offline so it will treat as paper wallet. I have very good experience with this service. Hi Odeoke, I have used MyEtherWallet before/ very familiar. However. Do I just send the AE coins to the wallet address? and that's it? (and still be able to retrieve it as the guideline AE/ Vlad put out correct?) Thank you in advance! |

Hi everyone. I know everyone has had their frustrations with AE late distribution of our tokens. However, my frustrations are due to the fact that I am unable to see any of my tokens. I created my wallet exactly as specified on AEternities wallet webpage during phase 2. I took a screenshot of my SEED and wrote it down on paper. After the contribution (and while the wallet.eternity.com) webpage was up I was able to verify my AE tokens contribution. I checked at random to verify everything was there. Again, I followed the instructions to the "T" as specified on their webpage https://blog.aeternity.com/how-to-send-bitcoin-to-%C3%A6ternitys-contribution-campaign-wallet-65d3f46aa4b9When I go to myetherwallet.com and enter my seed I get these options/ select the first one (i've tried them all) (but do not select an address/ don't know what that even is....)  Once selected, I followed the routine for adding the new token, token code, token name and decimal numbers. I see 0 AE tokens.  I have emailed Vlad and all he can say is that I need to know the original address it was sent from Unfortunately I do not which address I sent from. This information (the original address) w as never needed or requested when asking for the contribution.I don't know how to proceed. I know my seed and know exactly how many AE coins I should have. Any outside support would be helpful as I am not happy with the delays in the tokens, and now loss of my tokens that I paid for/ followed directions. Thank you in advance! Hi, IT will be the first address you see in my ether wallet, so select that, dont change anything on the top part of that screen. Now you are GOING TO NEED SOME ETH IN THE MEW WALLET. Please send 0.4+ Eth to your address. Now the tokens will be able to be sent to you and appear in your wallet. To be clear, how did you contribute to the ICO? Did you pay with ETH ? OR Did you pay with Bitcoin? The link you posted for the guide was talking about sending Bitcoin. The team here released a tool so you can claim your tokens, in the MEW wallet when you paid with BTC.
