24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: November 30, 2017, 07:26:29 PM
When hundreds of billions of dollars come to the bitcoin market from the traditional financial industry, bitcoin will turn into a global digital currency. According to a Facebook IQ study, about 45% of people from the millennium generation would refuse banks, credit cards and brokerage accounts if they had a better option. Given this, it is likely that in the long run bitcoin will transform the global financial industry

26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: effect of china on bitcoin on: November 30, 2017, 07:10:35 PM
The Chinese influence that is likely to affect the future of the crypto currency will come from China's miners, since any proposal to update the bitcoin structure requires approval of the miners.
Wang Chun operator AntPool, the world's largest mining pool, said that it is the miners who control the outcome of the vote.
One of the groups in the block size discussion, known as Bitcoin Classic, wants to increase the size of the bitlock block to ensure that transaction processing time is unchanged. Another group, Bitcoin Core, is trying to resist any major changes.
Bitcoin Core also believes that the increase in the block size will be facilitated by the miners, whose equipment is capable of processing longer calculations, which large blocks require.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen if all 21 Million BTC are mined? on: November 30, 2017, 06:55:38 PM
It is also difficult to build some assumptions because the blocks that are being built grow with time. This can cause very low rates - payments for transfers within the system. If the cost of one transaction is very low and a large number of people and equipment participate in the construction of blocks, the possible earnings may be too small, but the miners will still have to deal with operations.

On the other hand, the blocks theoretically can reach their maximum size, as a result of which they will not fit all the ongoing transactions. Then the surplus operations will be removed from the network, and each of them will be worth more and more. This scenario is very tempting for miners, as they can get very serious profits, but it is unpleasant for ordinary users, because they then have to pay a lot of money to make each operation in the block so that their transfer is not superfluous.

The total limited number of Bitcoin will somehow lead eventually to a lack of reward for searching and composing blocks. When all 21 million coins are mined, their number will not increase, although the demand for them is likely to continue to grow. Operations in the system will continue to occur, regardless of how many participants in the system will be, these operations will require confirmation and, most likely, users will have to pay to them for miners who simply continue to calculate the blocks on their old equipment.

Of course, the miners in such a scenario can stay afloat only if the price of one Bitcoin retains the current trend and will continue to grow. However, with a high probability, we can say that with any outcome and any events inside the system, users will have the opportunity to earn money, to use the available equipment for their intended purpose. Farms, computers, ASIC-devices will lose their relevance only in the event that the entire Bitcoin ceases to exist, which in the foreseeable future is most likely not worth it
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoins on: November 30, 2017, 06:50:38 PM
he loss of a digital currency can be very painful for its owner, it at the same time adds a little value to the rest of the bitons because of the reduction in supply. In addition, today's users are likely to process their bitcoins with greater accuracy, so that the probability of losses in the future is lower. However, this process is irreversible, and therefore the number of lost bitcoins will only grow
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The relationship between Ethereum and Bitcoin on: November 30, 2017, 06:47:08 PM
It all depends on what we want from these digital tokens. If we want to have a reliable token that is over protected, has high liquidity, time-proved reliability, no devaluation, in general we want to use it as a means of long-term saving, then bitkoyn is beyond competition. As a means of exchange and payment, it has a shortcoming in the form of a long confirmation time, in this field it is inferior to many other tokens (for example, Litecoin, Dash, Ethereum). This drawback is due to the underlying reasons for which reliability and stability are the first to be borne out. This shortcoming will be resolved within the next 1-2 years. Without changing the basis, opportunities are being developed for creating "layers", superstructures over the main protocol, which will be used for comfortable exchange (trade) and payments (deferred payment). And also the creation of contracts, applications, etc. And in this respect bitkoyn is very consistent. After all, you can not be everything at once. First you need a solid foundation, then build on
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who created bitcoin? Satoshi Nakamoto or Elon Musk? on: November 30, 2017, 06:38:31 PM
The Canadian-American inventor and billionaire Ilon Mask refused to participate in bitcoin, writing a response to the Twitter account. On his post, he also said that a few years ago a friend sent him some bitkoy, but now the Mask does not know where they are.

The assumption that Ilon Mask might be Satoshi Nakamoto was made by former SpaceX master Sahil Gupta. Gupta justified his opinion by the fact that Mask is well versed in the C ++ programming language used to create bitcoins, in addition, the billionaire has "a passion for solving global problems.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the use of Bitcoin increasing? on: November 30, 2017, 06:36:26 PM
One of the main reasons for the growth of bitcoin is that in April it was actually legalized as a currency in Japan. This attracted a huge number of Japanese investors.
The problem is that many do not understand: bitcoin is really growing.
There are more users, they register more wallets, the number of transactions increases, new companies are created that take advantage of bitcoin.
In the media there is mainly negative information about what is happening with bitcoin. Only large failures are widely covered: when a certain exchange is hacked or when illegal transactions occur with bitcoin.
But this is important: many still refer to the crypto currency with skepticism, they are afraid that everything will collapse.
In fact, many where bitcoin is already widely used as a payment instrument. For example, the laws of Nigeria prohibit local banks from withdrawing the country's currency - the Nigerian Naira - abroad. Therefore, in Nigeria, there is a strong increase in the use of bitcoin.
The same is evident in other countries, for example, in Venezuela and Argentina, where there is very high inflation. Local residents try to fight inflation by keeping money in bitcoin.
As far as I understand, the popularity of bitcoin in Nigeria was strongly influenced by the arrival in the country of the financial pyramid of Sergei Mavrodi. In "MMM" calculations with depositors are carried out in bitcoins.
Yes, definitely, the demand for bitcoin is connected with the "MMM" Mavrodi. But the reverse situation with the financial pyramid is that it made bitcoin popular - now everyone knows how to use it.
In Venezuela, too, an interesting case. There not only hedge the risks of inflation, but also solve problems with food and goods: residents using bitcoins order food with delivery from the US.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going insane - Help!!!!! on: November 30, 2017, 06:20:37 PM
the idea of the original, of course, you can go crazy with such thoughts, constantly think about it and look for a needle in a haystack, but, most importantly, believe in yourself and your goal - and it will be rewarded, the probability of opening the key is, of course, very meager and unlikely, but if you know well what you are doing and you have a very powerful computer, try and be sure whether it was possible or not, good luck with this
