21  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: advice for a beginner on: March 22, 2024, 06:10:36 AM
The easy thing I want to tell newbies when trading is to not go all in at first. The longer you can stay, the more you can understand the market by yourself. It is better than just reading things on the internet because sometimes the best things are learned through experience.
22  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Why do people Choose To snap pictures than to help another in an accident? on: March 22, 2024, 06:04:29 AM
There are many reasons why people choose to just take a picture, such as wanting to gain followers on social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook. Some may avoid helping because they fear getting into trouble. They worry about being blamed for the accident or getting involved in a dangerous situation, like being attacked by the family of those involved in the accident. Others may be influenced by the bystander effect, where they act similarly to those around them.
23  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Isn't trading almost like gambling? on: March 20, 2024, 02:33:19 PM
I just commented on a thread about following simple rules like cutting losses, and I want to tell all of you about my friend. He did cut losses when the Bitcoin price dropped under $6-10k in 2019 or something. I just remember there was a time when Bitcoin dropped to that price, and he had to follow his rule, cutting losses on all his Bitcoin. But just around a short time later, Bitcoin recovered fast and went to a new peak price. Lol. He was so regretful. Yes, trading needs some luck alongside your skill.
24  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New trader's must remember it. on: March 20, 2024, 02:28:16 PM
These facts are all good to me, and I think if you can do all of it, you can make a good profit from the crypto market (of course, it will be better if you have luck and some other skills). But sometimes simple is good, and most newbies don't believe this. They don't think something as simple as that can work. But that's the way it is. Just like when you want to fit your body, you just reduce calories. Simple, but not everyone can do that, right? People know but don't do. That's the important part.
25  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about the freedom of speech in the USA? on: March 19, 2024, 02:24:39 PM
YouTube is just a company trying to make money. They don't have a responsibility to protect freedom of speech (even though they claim they do). And they have many problems with customers and governments who are against Putin. So they just make moves to protect their profits. I can understand that.
While YouTube aims to profit, it's essential to consider the balance between profits and responsibility. As a big company, they should (and can) take action. Their actions impact speech freedoms, especially in contentious political contexts.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can governments crack down on crypto? on: March 19, 2024, 02:22:56 PM
Yes, even though people talk about decentralization or something like that, crypto needs government involvement to achieve high prices. But imagine if all governments were to ban crypto. I think crypto would still survive, but it would be used among small groups and be hard to maintain a high price like it is now.

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are memecoins really important for the crypto market? on: March 09, 2024, 05:29:56 PM
Memecoins can attract attention and new participants to the crypto market, contributing to increased liquidity and trading volumes.   Grin some people just buy meme coin for fun then they make a lot of money from it and pump. their friend, their family know about crypto. Cheesy
30  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asks for KYC (their site say NO KYC) then confiscates my winnings on: March 09, 2024, 01:43:03 PM
Grin I think top sites will always have something like KYC when they need it. For example, if an address involved with a hacker's deposit to their site, they will need KYC; otherwise, they will get into trouble with the police later.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: February 04, 2023, 02:05:07 PM
Of course still holding.

I sold off almost all of my alts that I bought in 2021, cuz who the hell knows which ones will do well in the upcoming market cycle. But Bitcoin and Ethereum just hold long term. Only gonna sell some Bitcoin during bull market years when I want to buy a house or something.
Yo! From what I see, holding onto Bitcoin and Ethereum seems like the way to go. Alts are a crapshoot, man. I mean, who knows which ones are gonna come out on top in the next market cycle? Better to just stick with the big dogs, you know? I mean, sure, you might sell some Bitcoin during a bull market if you're looking to buy a house or something, but other than that, hold on tight! It's a wild ride, but it's worth it in the end.
32  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Deal with Volatility? on: February 04, 2023, 01:49:43 PM
To survive in the volatile crypto market, consider the following strategies...

In order to cope with the volatility in the cryptocurrency market and protect yourself from losses, you need to buy stablecoins. But holding stablecoins will not bring you profit. Increased same volatility opens up the possibility for a trader to get more profit, although at the same time the risk of losing their money increases.
Absolutely! Stablecoins can be a great way to protect yourself from the wild swings in the crypto market. They are designed to maintain a stable value, so you don't have to worry about your investments suddenly plummeting in value. However, you're right that holding onto stablecoins alone won't make you rich. To potentially earn bigger profits, you need to take on a bit more risk. That's where trading comes in - with increased volatility in the market, there's more opportunity for profit, but also a greater risk of losing money. It's all about finding that balance between risk and reward. Just make sure you understand the market and have a solid trading strategy in place, and you'll be in a good position to potentially see some gains.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: February 04, 2023, 01:35:03 PM
Hello guys,
With this ordeal going on it seems much-lost faith and bailed as if the whole market is going to vanish. This kind of thing happens more often in the stock market with inside trading, embezzlement, etc. In reality, it’s a perfect time to get in with everything dropping so low. It will come back and come back bigger than ever after this dies down and there will be improvements to hopefully prevent this from happening again. So do not lose hope and know that the bad time will inevitably pass, and you may not be able to make up for this opportunity again. Just my opinion.
with market conditions like that we shouldn't need to worry and panic, for some people with bad market conditions is an opportunity to continue to add assets to their wallet, they will buy at a low value and sell when market conditions improve

That's how investors are, specially those who haven't had experience,

a. they are afraid of bearish market, when they should be adding more assets
b. they sell off and never comeback, or at least they are going back when we are in a bull run and price assets when they are already making a run.

So that is very wrong, we should accumulate when the price is low and that only happens in a bear market. And then sell it off to get a huge profit during a bull run and all time high.

minimal experience in investing will make things even more chaotic as you mentioned. the market is experiencing prolonged bearish will make many traders lose Assets if they do not understand it. even though it is an opportunity to continue to collect assets in the wallet and take profits when the market is normal
Yeah, you got it man! It's totally understandable that starting out with investing can be super overwhelming, especially when the market is going through a rough patch. Trust me, I've seen it happen to the best of us. But here's the thing, it's always a good idea to educate yourself and have a good understanding of what you're getting into before putting your hard earned dough on the line. That being said, it can be tempting to try and make quick profits during a bearish market, but that's not always the smartest move. In my opinion, it's better to be patient, hold onto your assets, and wait for a more favorable market to sell and make a profit. Just remember, slow and steady wins the race!
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Governments cannot control Bitcoin on: August 21, 2020, 03:28:46 AM
Yes, our governments can't control the bitcoin but they can make it illegal in our countries so that we can't use it no more.

In the major media, they often do not recognize the existence of this market and often advise people to stay away from it when possible because the risks of participating are great. My country used to be like that, but now things are much different because my national government has realized the potential and surely in the future there will be many good policies for the participants.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best deFI tokens out there on: August 21, 2020, 03:16:21 AM
Chainlink is one of the most successful projects at the moment and I am very surprised by the current value of this coin. I think with the current investment trends, investors will feel more interested in choosing to invest and this will certainly be one of the most successful Defi projects this year. I bought this coin a few months ago and am still holding it because it is still possible to reach new ATH.
Just like you, I was surprised and did not expect Chainlink big bullish and be ranked 5th in the market capitalization now.

Chainlink is down a few%, but most likely it will go up again is still high, Chainlink will make another ATH again.
Chainlink is now considered a new force in the crypto market and it will definitely be one of the most invested projects this year because I have made a huge profit from this coin. Now the potential of this coin is still very large and it is possible to consider a long-term investment if you feel like it. I am still trading this coin every day because if you know when to buy and sell, it will be very easy for you to make a profit.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull run is coming? on: August 21, 2020, 02:36:59 AM
The bull run is here, for the past few months, Cryptocurrency market has been pumping, BTC pump from $12k and currently retracing while altcoins too keeps pumping. Nothing more to wait for, the bull is finally here, many more pump to come in few weeks to come.
I am waiting for what will happen in the coming months but I hope the market will continue to maintain its uptrend as this is a good thing to make investor sentiment feel more optimistic when investing. I also choose to invest in a lot of altcoins during this time period but Bitcoin is the coin that I hold the most because if this coin goes up then all my current investment will increase.
Of course, if the price of Bitcoin falls, things will be different and that is why I feel so nervous investing in this market.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: August 21, 2020, 02:12:30 AM
ICO has lost popularity and have disappointed many investors, of course, ICOs will never come back, investors are more satisfied with investments that guarantee their money and IEO are the choices of investors nowadays, so just forget about ICO
ICO will still exist in this market and in recent times the form of fundraising of Defi projects makes me think of 2017. There are indeed a lot of new projects using this method of raising capital and I also feel a bit worried about what's going to happen. Defi may be a trend that people are interested in, but if you do not check it carefully, you will easily lose money in this market.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming Defi projects on: August 20, 2020, 11:21:35 AM
To date, DeFi projects are indeed attracting the most attention from investors, as the demand for an alternative to the banking system is increasing. Experts say that even due to the activity of DeFi projects, the Ethereum network is overloaded. But nevertheless, we must be careful about all projects with the abbreviation DeFi, since there is reason to believe that some developers may specifically indicate the designation DeFi, while not having anything to do with it, but in order to attract as much attention to themselves as possible.
Now any project that adds Defi will immediately get a lot of attention. I think this is a good time to invest but should also be more careful when investing as Defi is being abused in almost all projects. You also shouldn't choose to invest in new projects and I recommend checking out coinmarketcap as the best Defi projects will usually be known here.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH still going higher as our anticipatiion on: August 20, 2020, 11:10:37 AM
as one of the ETH community, I firmly believe ETH is worth holding onto for the long term. although recently ETH has been shocked by the problem of expensive GAS fees, I am sure that this will not cause any problems for ETH's future development. all communities are waiting for ETH v2.0, hope this is good news for all holders.
Ethereum ecosystem is by far the best in the crypto market and most of the new projects make use of the coin's foundation. I think the high gas is due to too many traders and most of these transactions can be seen at Uniswap. In addition, the Defi projects are helping to skyrocket the price of Ethereum recently and I believe the coin will soon reach $1000 by the end of the year.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: █▀▄ [ANN][IDO] DIA | Data infrastructure for DeFi | Bonding Curve Live 🔥 ▄▀█ on: August 20, 2020, 11:00:46 AM
Bro do you even know what you are saying, bounty is 100k in dia and will be distributed in 3 phase, have you seen the volume of trade in each exchange! people make so much noise about 18th August and how the private investors unlock token will dump the price, we are in August 20th and nothing like that happen, if a 10 million tokens don't affect dia price so badly, i wonder what a mare 100k tokens in 3 phase will do, just my 2cent.
between, i don't think every hunters will be selling at this price when there are more opportunity for a higher price coming... Grin
I can understand your feeling but this the rules they made for distribution & you have to respect the rules. In past bounty hunters dumped coins price that's why many projects made this rules for distribution. I think getting DIA in 3 phase in 3 months is not so bad. Also you can't do anything if they do it. better to keep clam and wait for 1st phase of distribution Cheesy
There won't be any problems and dumping this coin is almost impossible. I have looked through the trading volume of this coin and can see that you can sell freely if you feel like. I think there will be many other exchanges that will list this coin so with 100k DIA you will feel this is a very small number of the total supply of the project.
