21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Exchanges vs Old Exchanges on: February 18, 2019, 12:22:41 PM
A lot of members on here use Binance and Coinbase Pro. Both of those exchanges have been around for a while and they both have their own advantages/disadvantages. However, you aren't going to make serious money by investing in utility coins like BNB. If you would have bought BNB back when it was below $.25 you would probably be a millionaire, but how many of us actually did that? There's a lot of newer projects out there that are showing promise within this community. I look for projects with active developers, marketing campaigns, and future outlooks.

What about you guys? What are some good exchanges out there that aren't

- Coinbase
- Nauticus
- Binance

Everyone already knows these 3, don't tell me about Bittrex or Kraken either. If you think there's a good exchange that's structured similarly to Binance (BNB) or Nauticus (NTS), then let me know.

You should not compare this to those top caliber exchange that has proven like Binance as for me if you think that Nauticus is a promising exchanges then the world will notice them with-in the coming months if they can attract more traders to use their platform. Nauticus collected good amount of money during their ICO which I'm hoping that they can make a difference in the future to become a top exchange. The world of crypto is unpredictable and only the time can tell the future of this newly exchange.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Change Of KYC Pattern on: February 18, 2019, 11:22:44 AM
There have been so much issues arising from bounty hunters doing kyc. So many bounty hunters are against it. Also looking at what kyc means, it means know your customer and bounty hunters are not customers.

So my thought is this: if there must be kyc , it should be done before the start of the bounty. If you pass the kyc, you start the bounty but if you fail, you just leave it and look for some other promising bounty.

What do you think about this?
A bounty with a KYC requirement will eliminate those bounty hunters that having multiple accounts and thus, increase the reward of those legit participants. Anyway KYC nowadays is already a must. If you want to join on those bigger project then expect to prepare your documents for the KYC but be careful in choosing those many ICO's as we can't be sure about their safety of our documents.
I prefer to do my KYC after the bounty campaign when the project has successfully collected their funds to proceed with their next milestones. Which I think this is much advantage than doing in the start of the bounty as you might have some issues that will make you decide to leave the bounty and your KYC will be a waste.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can anyone or experts still predict/ forecast cryptocurrency nowadays? on: February 14, 2019, 01:47:06 PM
This question of "Can anyone or experts still predict/ forecast cryptocurrency nowadays" keep ringing in my head because early last year there were different predictions about the rise of the crypto market in general from the so called "crypto experts" and "analysts". But to my greatest surprise, at the end of the year I could only see maybe one out of all the predictions I read about becoming true.

This makes me deduce that the crypto market can't be predicted to some extent.

Want to know people's view on this. Thanks

We can't deny that those crypto experts are using some technical analysis for their predictions but in reality the crypto price has no pattern and it will depend on the daily demand in the market. It's normal that they will predict as they want to create publicity that people will buy to increase the demand and if the demand will grow the price will rise to higher level. It's up to us if we will believe on those predictions without basis and obvious that it's created for their personal interest.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bull run bring about the resurrection of ICOs and dead Altcoins? on: February 13, 2019, 03:06:02 PM
Hello forum members, this question of "Can bull run or bull market bring about the resurrection of good ICOs and also help some good altcoins that are almost dead gain their ground and run their project smoothly?"

How feasible is my reasoning? Kindly shed more lights. Thanks

If someone will pump those almost dead altcoin it can resurrect but it will not last longer if no buyers will ride with the pumping even if the market is in a bull run those wise investors will not going to buy those shitcoins that has no real product. Only those active altcoins with strong community support can grow in this volatile market. I will not waste my money on those altcoins that has almost dead as the probability of losing my money is too high and no assurance that the team will not abandon the project.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The crypto market is starting to improve??? on: February 13, 2019, 02:07:06 PM
Hello everybody,  Grin Today the market is green again, will it last for a long time or just an atmosphere of comfort for a moment and then red? How do you respond to the current atmosphere. Thank you for your attention. Wink

Every now and then the market turns into green as we have a daily fluctuations but it does not mean that it's the start of a bull run. We need to see an increasing demand daily to make the price turns upward to sustain the price not to fall down. It will not happen instantly but just give time for the recovery and soon we can see a bullish market that will give us our financial freedom.
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lesson from the prolonged bear market on: February 13, 2019, 01:28:09 PM
Sincerely, it is not so easy with this long time dump/bear market. Long awaiting promises weakens the heart. I hope guys have learnt their lessons like when next the bull run appears you take the best opportunity and invest for the raining day. What's your lesson too?

This is the difficult part on all of us as our investment funds had been trapped with the bearish market situation which nobody expected this to happen in this volatile market. I learned to extend my patient as I trust the team behind on those token I have and I will wait for the time to sell my token at the best price. I'm optimistic that the market will recover soon and we need to take advantage with the affordable price to buy more coins for our future.
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will the Bear Market End? on: February 13, 2019, 12:43:40 PM
I am a Hodler, I have waited for straight 8 difficult months to see the bulls return, we were having some semblance to a boom in the last 2 weeks, now market cap is struggling with 250 Billion $. How long are we going to wait?
Nobody can give you the right answer for your inquiry as we know that the price will depends on the market demand and as long as we don't have any good news that can make the market increase the demand, then the bear situation will stay with us. I recommend you to keep on holding and be patient to wait for the right moment for us to see the market turns into a bullish. Just take advantage to buy many coins if you can while the price is still at very affordable as this will give you huge profits when the market recovers.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: which way bitcoin price going? on: February 12, 2019, 11:36:42 PM
Hi you can see i am new to bitcointalk if i make any mistake please let me know.
i have been watching bitcoin 1.5 year.  that time bitcoin price was around 5500$-6000$ than bitcoin price started to rise. just in few month bitcoin rise up it's all time high 19000$+-23000$+. a lot people starting see very good in bitcoin and invested but than from new year price started to go down.  right now its again goin down when everyone hoping it will reach 4000$. they way bitcoin straggling some people say it's going down below 2500$ some say its going to start climbing again to broke it's al time high. i don't have much experience in trade and analysis bitcoin and i don't know which one to follow. so if anyone has good experience in trade and analysis in bitcoin please suggest which way bitcoin price is going.
Thanks
The price of bitcoin is unpredictable as we have witnessed it from last year that those crypto experts had failed to predict the price which continuously fall below our expectations. I don't believe on what people spreading as we have many FUD in this technology. Do your own research and get involve in trading to gain enough experience that can motivate you to decide on your own. It takes time to gain experience because we have different situation as the market changes everyday and don't afraid to try new things. Looking on bitcoin for a long term has a brighter future which needs patience to stay us on track with the market volatility.
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble or Not? on: February 12, 2019, 11:02:39 PM
Bitcoin has the real intentions why it was created and we have seen how useful it is. The market manipulators had taken control of the market price which seems is not good to the small-time investors as they don't have the enough funds to sustain in the long bearish market. This is the point why bitcoin could be dangerous to people who can't afford to wait until the recovery. Whether it's a bubble or not the risk is too high which we need to consider before putting our funds.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You've earned tons of tokens, NOW WHAT? on: February 12, 2019, 10:34:27 PM
At the moment, I'm holding all the coins I earned in the bounty, and that I had purchased in the mid - April 2018. I don't need a fiat right now, because all my savings in cryptocurrency I strongly keep in my wallet, waiting for a good time to sell. I think this is the right strategy to protect yourself from big losses.
Yeah that's true...we must exercise to extend our patience to the market situation as we can't get any profits if we will be going to sell our token at the losing price. They said that we did not spent money for our token as we get it form bounty but our time and efforts worth for it that we need to compensate our works. The right time will come for us and we must sustain our personal needs until the coming of the bull run.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you have to take risks. on: February 12, 2019, 12:47:08 PM
Risk takers has the higher chances of getting rich if they will invest in crypto and those who were the early investors of bitcoin had the living testaments that if you will take the risk without looking back you will gain the best reward that will give us our financial freedom. Although the downside of being a risk taker could end-up into bankruptcy and we need to study first before putting our money.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty /investment strategies on: February 12, 2019, 11:54:46 AM
As a bounty Hunter or an investor, what are the criterias you apply in choosing which bounty campaign to do or ico project to invest on?
What is your strategy to making more bitcoin ?
This is the right time to accumulate many bitcoin as we can while the price is at lower level. The only difficulty we could have is the money we will go to invest if we will depend on the income from our bounty. Bounty nowadays has getting worse as many projects has been paused due to bearish market which bounty hunters had been impatient to wait for the payment. The last option we could is to use our hard earn money to buy a little amount of bitcoin to increase our bitcoin investment.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Won't it be possible to be paid for bounty in cash instead of token on: February 11, 2019, 01:23:29 PM
Sometimes i use to ask why is it not possible to be paid bounty money in cash why is it alway's that is only paid in token anybody that can explain more please?
It could be difficult for them to release money for the payment as they still in the stage of collecting funds and this is the reason that they will only pay token instead of fiat money which they consider that their bounty hunters could also their investors if the project will progress during the ICO. This is also advantage to the team as they will not going to pay their bounty participants if the project will not collect the minimum funds.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the cheater? on: February 11, 2019, 12:11:38 PM

      Bounty hunters using multiple account,
Dev and team delaying bounty rewards until it worth nothing.
     Then who is the cheater?

If we will stake to the rules at the start of the bounty, the cheaters were those bounty hunters who made multiple accounts. For the side of the bounty manager, it could be difficult for him to screen-out those having multi account unless they will ask for KYC... The difficult task was on the side of the developer and the team as they will decide base on the future of their project...We can't judge those developer as they have been affected with the bearish market and they also did their part to make their project successful. For me, this is all about money and those cheater are greedy people that will do everything for their self interest.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible that NPXS will reach 1$? on: February 06, 2019, 02:48:23 PM
Current price for NPXS is $0.000585. Will NPXS reach 1$ during the next bull market?
This could be very hard for a price to rise as high as $1 with a huge circulating supply and with the bearish market this could make it dumps to the bottom if the price of bitcoin will go down to $1k. You should not expect that too much as the crypto market has higher uncertainty. Anyway, be lucky if this will hit the price at $0.1 if bull run will come but expect the unexpected.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Coins are a great LONG-TERM investment ???? on: February 06, 2019, 01:52:15 PM
Hey folks,

what do you think, which tokens are a great investment for 5-10 years?

All people tend to speculate on short-term moves but I am more interested in tokens that will go up x times over the next couple of years...

so to say, the Amazons and Googles of the crypto world.

Which coins are REALLY GROUNDBREAKING in your eyes and why?

I mean Bitcoin started the whole thing but technically there are so much better, safer, faster, more anonymous coins that should take over in the long run.

Please share your opinions

Investing in a long term for 5-10 years is quite too long if you will put your money on altcoins. Those altcoins has no assurance that it will last for 5 years due to market manipulation. I will prefer to invest my money in bitcoin because it has a proven that will grow the price higher in the coming years or in 5 to 10 years from now.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run on January, February or March? Your Predictions please...... on: February 06, 2019, 12:59:45 PM
What month will bull run starts? I can't wait to see my portfolio increases up to 100 times after joining so much bounties and got potential altcoins that will bring me to riches. When shall I see it?

The chances of getting rich from those bounty token is too low with the bearish market situation as I don't see any ICO that rises above their ICO price. Anyway getting rich in crypto will takes time as those projects will not easily pumps without the support of their community and the community will only be there if the project has already a real product. Be patient always as we can predict the market situation with regards to bull run.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Listing fees from 0,50 btc on Cryptoplanex exchange !! on: February 06, 2019, 12:17:36 PM
You should provide us the ANN Thread of this exchange for us to have idea how this exchanges works. We need to know who manage it being a centralized exchange. I never heard that exchange if they did their ICO.
This is a good help to those projects that has less budget for them to get listed. I think in the future their will be lesser listing fees as we have now many good exchanges to consider.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What token do you expect in 2019? on: February 05, 2019, 02:33:56 PM
This will depends on the market if it become bullish then many altcoins will grow huge and make the cryptomarket in a busy mode. While the bear continue to control the market this will make us difficult to find good coins that will grow for this year as most of the alts will get affected with the price of bitcoin.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short-term or long-term investment? on: February 05, 2019, 01:31:34 PM
I want to invest with $ 2000, and I will choose 5 altcoins. Maybe one of them is Cardano. Is the short term more likely to gain profit or vice versa with the long term? Thank you.

I don't think that we have good coins that will be profitable in doing a short term investment as the market has lesser demand daily. If the price of bitcoin will dumps to a new bottom this will makes those many altcoins suffer more losses which is not good for those long term holder. Invest only to the amount that you can afford to hold longer until the bull run.
