The most effective advice I got so far here from other investors as well is ONLY INVEST WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE. I think its a basic rule that if you are just a newbie or just a mid-risk taker, this one should be applicable to you. If you are someone who knows everything about the world then be my guest and go on invest everything you can since you know what you are doing. But for newbies or anyone who just joined crypto market for a hype and don't know what to do better only allow an amount that you think you can spend and lost in case the market is down. I see a lot of people ranting about their investments when they haven't converted it to fiat yet, for me that's a pessimistic attitude and shouldn't be in the crypto market at all.

It is nice to know that you are enjoying what you are doing. I've been here for a couple of months now and already earned some tokens too, I just hope that they will still exist even after a year since I am holding on to them. It was just too bad that the first airdrop I got turned to scam after just a couple of months but I am still positive since I can still join other campaigns to earn more tokens.

There are plenty of ICOs now which are very promising in my opinion and one project must be unique enough for the public to take interest in. As I was looking for a good bounty to participate last week, I found about about CVPROOF. You might want to include it on your radar of good ICOs as I believe it will do a good job in improving the life of the the public especially the working and business class communities in validating their credentials.

Many many people say they are holding this, holding that for the "long term" but please tell me what exactly is your guys definition of "long term"? For me, 1 year is considered long time. I began investing this January and I will hold one year and cash out everything January 2019. So by your definition, is this more short term or long term? Is 1 year enough time to see gains? I consider it long term too and I think if the coin is good you'll definitely see gains after a year. An example of this would be NEO, I don't have NEO on my port but I very active on crypto when it started so I have a little background of it. A friend bought at the rate of $30 to $40 something last year then NEO dropped to less than $30 after that, when NEO rise again he sold it. After a couple of months look at NEO now, I was surprised to see it trading at $100 rate which is really a great gain after just a few months. Be sure that the coin you are investing is really good so you'll gain profit after a year.

I haven't heard anything bad about Cryptopia so I think this is just a backlog on their end. The transaction I've done weeks ago went well I haven't experienced any problem recently. Try to contact them again and again about your case. I don't really consider and exchange a scam unless they shutdown with no one to contact about your investments.

ETH at $8k rate is still acceptable in my opinion although it dropped so much than BTC in the past few days. We're probably just expecting that it'll go back to $1k rate after the major dip weeks ago. I guess it's because of the slowdown of the ICO hype.
Since ETH is the primary platform on which the ICO tokens are issued on, when ICO hype dies off it obviously means that ETH will be less attractive to investors as well. That's just how it works. Also bitcoin dominance has been pretty low, and it's just returning to its normal level. ETH being the second largest crypto has a lot to do with the bitcoin dominance going to all time lows, and now the trend is reversing.
Just normal market volatility. Not everything follows past performance.
Hope this is the real reason. There's a lot of ICO's here and there and it would be good for it to slow down since some of them only becomes scam afterwards.

In my opinion Altcoins will still survive without Bitcoin. Based on my observation, there are times that altcoins rises even if BTC is down. I know that people trust BTC so much than altcoins but for me everything comes and go so we better practice not to be attached on a certain thing in this world. If BTC goes down, I am sure an altcoin will surely rise. Let's just go with the flow.

Does price matter to you if you going to invest in a project or not ?
I see that some say no i not hold that coin because i missed the train. And the coin i talk about now just trading for 3$ is that to ekepensive to invest in ? I just not understand when i see this. I do understand that the person missed out the coin when it was cheaper. I just try to gaine information and understanding of how some of you are thinking. So i can be a better trader my self. Thats why i ask this question.
Thanks !!
It really depends. If you think that the project is really good and is worth investing I think the price doesn't really matter as long as you have the funds to invest. If you are short on the budget you can still buy a fraction of that coin as far as I know.

I'm worried about this because I've submitted my documents about 2 to 3 times to participate on ICO and bounty campaigns few weeks ago. I've KYC'd because it was required on a certain bounty here in the forum and ended up not able to participate because they've already closed the form when I'm going to sign up. I'm not going to fill up any projects with KYC ever again.

how to check the bonty program is legit or sexcem. sometimes there are bounty programs that do not include the spreadsheet
Having a spreadsheet doesn't really mean that a bounty is a scam or not. There are quite a few red flags though that you can check if you are looking for a certain bounty campaign to join. Check if their announcement thread is somewhat pleasing to the eye and the needed details are there and complete such as social media channels, whitepaper, team, roadmap, website and etc. As long as the thread and the website is not crappy and the project does have a unique idea that you want, I think that bounty campaign is worth a try. I've joined some bountry campaigns earlier and unfortunately the project was paused making all my efforts go to waste so I someone considered that I was scammed. Overall, you won't really know a project is a scam unless you try it.

This thread should be in Service Discussion (Altcoins) board, not here. Why do you look for signature campaigns anyway? You are Jr. Member, you can't even wear a signature. There are multiple good signature campaigns and multiple threads about this question. There is no need to open a new thread. Just check out others.
Jr. members can participate on most signature campaigns available here in the forum unless the an ICO requires higher ranks for participants. Jr. members to Member ranks can't wear and ICO avatar on their profile though. To OP, please don't expect highest rewards if your rank is still at Jr. Member because the distribution of tokens or stakes for Jr. ranks like us is very low. I suggest that you atleast reach the Full member rank but its quite difficult to achieve that now because of the merit system.

I wouldn't really dwell on that if I were you. There's no doubt that NEO is a good coin but if you're going to compare the two you'll end up just expecting. Bitcoin has been around since 2009 so I am not sure if there's an altcoin who can beat its existence until now as even ETH is struggling to have the same value as BTC.

Have you ever supported, bought or mined a coin that died later on? Why did you support it? What did you learn from it?
Had an airdrop last year which had a value after it hit exchangers but it is considered as dead now since its developer run away, withdrawing everything on its wallet. I am talking about XMRG where it got listed on an exchanger and then gone. Why I supported it? Not really sure but I'm a hodler person so that's maybe the reason why. Good thing it is just an airdrop so there's no hard feelings.

Although I don't doubt that Bitcoin can reach that rate in the future, I need to see it reach $30k first before making any assumptions. It is trying its best to break that $10k which I saw earlier but it then fall back again to $9k range and back to $10k again after a few hours. If BTC reached $20k and are a bit stable then there's a possibility that we will have $40k this year, hopefully. As for the altcoins, there's no doubt that only the best will remain. It is always a battle of survival of the fittest when it comes to altcoins.

Thank you for the list. Hope you wont get tired updating the list since there's plenty of airdrops coming out almost everyday but there's no guarantee that they will really distribute their free tokens after the ICO. I've joined quite a lot of them in the past month an only a few did distribute, some of them even hasn't reached exchangers yet so I still disappointed keeping a token without a value on my wallet.

Just submitting a document is kind of annoying then there's a video now? What the heck are they trying to implement? I'm definitely not joining KYCs with such requirements. I did submitted few docs last time because of a bounty campaign but won't be doing anything more than that. It is such a hassle.

There is a possibility for everything and also the worst case scenario that it will go down as lower as $400 and below, so fasten your seatbelt and ready your heart. As a part of course for the Bitcoin community, let's do our best to spread the word of bitcoin to gather more investor to our side, it will help to sustain the price of ethereum.
Good thing that the worst case scenario did not happen because ETH is on its $900 mark today. I guess it is working to break that $1k rate too and its possible that we will see ETH on that rate again after a couple of days. Hope there'll be no FUD for the meantime so our coins could get back to its original prices soon.

Better not to expect high returns when you'll only need to be a member of a certain Telegram group, stay at it even after an ICO and just once in a week participation will do. If you want high returns check other bounty campaigns instead like signature bounty, Facebook or Twitter bounty campaigns which I think offer more stakes than Telegram campaigns. You need to reach the required status though enable for you to participate.
