21  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Women and Men, are they same? on: January 25, 2018, 09:52:26 PM
When it comes to rights, then I would say that men and women should be given the same respect and opportunity. However, whether we like it or not, there are still differences between and man and a woman especially on their natural roles like bearing a child.
22  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VIRGINITY before getting married on: January 25, 2018, 09:49:00 PM
As a Bible believing Christian, yes it is still important to me. Sex is a very sacred thing and should be enjoyed inside marriage. Science also proves that when you have sex with someone, you also imprint with that person meaning that a special bond is being formed. No wonder there are people who after breaking up with someone they had sexual relations with are having difficulties getting up as they have identified with their ex. However, even if someone commits a sexual sin, God is still still gracious enough to forgive.
23  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe January 31 2018 is end of the world? on: January 25, 2018, 09:42:34 PM
No one knows for sure if Jan 31 would be the end of the world. However, we should always be ready for anything whether it is true or not. We should express our love to other people and live our life as it is our last day on earth.
24  Other / Politics & Society / Re: To travel is to live on: January 25, 2018, 09:37:42 PM
I personally also like to travel and going to different places. However, I am fully aware that not all people enjoy that and prefers maybe staying at home doing their own stuff. We are all unique thus we cannot and shouldn't impose what we want on others.
25  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Decrease Population on: January 25, 2018, 09:35:26 PM
For me, the best way to reduce or control the population is through family planning. If our governments would create a law that only allows maybe 2 kids each per family, then I think that that would be enough to reduce our populatiin in a natural, safe and humane way.
26  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Colonising Planets on: January 25, 2018, 09:32:23 PM
I don't think that the human race will be able to conquer or subdue another planet, much more establish a colony or a civilization elsewhere other than the earth. Sorry to say but the condition outside our planet is not suitable for human life.
27  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gender equality on: January 25, 2018, 09:30:05 PM
In my honest opinion, I think that different genders are not being treated equally. I understand that we want the same treatment for everyone but there are scenarios wherein we would have to differentitate people base on their genders but that doesn't mean that we question their abilities. In my country, we have high regards and respect to women that men offer their seats in public transportations.
28  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Guns - Why do we need them? on: January 25, 2018, 09:11:44 PM
Some people claim that they need guns to protect themselves oand even their loved ones from possible danger such as those caused by evil people. However, studies show that if someone in a household owns a gun, there is a very high risk that the person who will get hit by that same gun lives in the same house. Thus, gun ownership should undergo a very thorough process.
29  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: January 12, 2018, 04:29:22 AM
If taken in moderation, I think it should be fine. But if you are someone who drinks in a daily basis then you might want to consider checking if you are already dependent to it as it might evolve to something else.
30  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does ages really matter in relationships? on: January 12, 2018, 04:24:50 AM
It depends on people. I am more concerned of the age that is suitable for marriage. I know in different cultures, there is a marriable age that is accepted though I don't really support people, especially girls marrying at 20 years old or less.
31  Other / Off-topic / Re: What causes suicidal thoughts? on: January 12, 2018, 04:20:29 AM
Depression is still the most leading cause of people committing suicide. It is really heartbreaking that someone would rather wish not to exist because of something or someone though we really can't understand how they really feel unless if we experuenced the same thing. We must try our best though to support people we know who are depressed.
32  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the causes of climate change? on: January 12, 2018, 04:17:24 AM
Pollution is one of the major cause of climate change. When we do harm to our planet like we dump garbages on wrong places, use harmful chemicals, we alter the current state of nature and no surprise, it cause unexpected things to happen.
33  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Business with and without education ? on: January 12, 2018, 04:13:54 AM
There are people who are really naturally talented in organizing and managing their businesses. However, that is not the case for everyone that's why it would be best to learn how it works so as to be an effective business owner.
34  Other / Politics & Society / Re: how to prepare for your death? on: January 12, 2018, 04:11:27 AM
I think, it would be best if you can document all your assets now and make sure that your loved ones/family are written as beneficiary for all your account. It would also be good if you can consolidate all them or have moved to just one bank account for easier access.
35  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to overcome depression? on: January 12, 2018, 04:04:06 AM
In order to overcome depression, one has to firdt identify the cause or reason for feeling depressed. Without that then it would be hard to address. Next is to ask for help by opening up to a family member, a friend, a mentor or antone whom you trust. Then seek professional help. There are medicines to help your condition especially if you are restless or having anxiety or panic attacks.
36  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to develop a strong character? on: January 12, 2018, 03:59:04 AM
You can develop a strong character by learning to be more confident. Expose yourself more on situations or things that you arw not that comfortable with like speaking to the public. It also is important for you to be assertive, not to agressive or dominant, but to know how to stand for what you know and believe.
37  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you believe God exists? on: January 12, 2018, 03:52:19 AM
I do believe in God because there is a desire in my heart to look and worship for someone greater, someone whom I know created all these things. I believe that there is a God-shaped hole in all of us that only God can fill and we are hardwired to have a conciousness that there is a God who is sovereign.
38  Other / Politics & Society / Re: School Uniform on: January 12, 2018, 03:49:02 AM
I'm okay with uniforms. It allows people to easily distinguish which school or institution belongs to. It is not the uniform itself that is a problem but conformity, that people no just tend to do what other people are doing and just following the trend.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: January 11, 2018, 08:12:11 PM
Yes, I still do believe in ICO. While there are a lot of ICOs thst are failing, there are still other altcoins that are showing potential in the market. It's just a matter of research and trial and experience in order to be successful.
40  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Seriously, smartphones will die within 10 years. on: January 05, 2018, 03:23:28 PM
No, mobile phones will not be obsolete soon. It may evolve though by adding some features not available before but I think that it will remain as there is still a big need for it.
