There's so many countries banning bitcoin now that it affected all alt cryptos as well. wonder when it will actually recover.

It is just the next in turn FUD that is coming from China. They just declared that access to centralized exchanges will be banned from China. This lead to BTC collapse and as you can see all of the alts are following it badly...

Anyone with such analysis please throw some strategy how to make  Alt coin investments in Bearish Bitcoin market.

The best strategy I can suggest right now is to buy/mine and hold.  With the potential for masternodes on DNR, this can change the economics of this coin very quickly.

Is there any detailed step by step tutorial for us beginners about Denarius mining?

Depends, if you want to mine it with 1 GPU. Actually it's pretty, at first you need to download the Denarius wallet, which gives you an unique wallet adress. I'd let it sync first, and when it's done you can be sure you can use the wallet without any problems or mining to a corrupted wallet. Afterwards you download the latest ccminer 2.2.4 and then you can chose one of the mining pools as example hashbag or yiimp. If you want to start mining to hashbag, you need to create a start.bat file in the ccminer folder, which could look like
Quote
ccminer-x64 -a tribus -i 19 -o stratum+tcp://hashbag.cc:8688 -u YourDNRAddress -p DNR --cpu-priority=5
pause
just save it and then start the bat file. Then you're setup and seeing your shares accepted. Congratulations you're now mining DNR =). If you have any other questions regarding this, just dont hesitate to ask

Oh nice.  I just got two ti's with the same thought on resale potential.  The prices right now are crazy!  I was lucky to find a couple in stock for normal-ish prices, but it took a lot of looking...I think the price jumps/news in December will bring in a bunch of new hobby miners.

I'll keep an eye on my setup and see if anything else happens.  I haven't had a change over to the dev address since the first one.    If you can't find anything, I can try out your 5 minute dev version (if you want)  and see if I can recreate anything.

To what coin are you exchanging your profits? I'm using his miner since yesterday with 2x 1060 6GB and I'm pretty satisfied with the results it gives me. I used nicehash/awesome miner which gave me way less than zPool Miner does. Actually it's mining with phi, the only problem I had yesterday that it switched to nist5 and didnt gave any UI information and didn't mind, so I excluded nist5 and since them its working pretty fine, with an estimated value of $10.18 a day. I can't wait till he adds neoscrypt and maybe we will be able to get even more profit out of it.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: January 15, 2018, 05:49:35 PM
You should be shorting your LTC by now, NEO is going to overtake its marketcap and so does its price before the Q1 ends. Litecoin was very much loved by Chinese but the rise of NEO which is their very own is much better for them to use. A much better platform is what the Chinese needs and NEO is the answer. Its your loss if you don't listen.

Well you could be right, the last time I sold my 10 neo it was at $29 each and now it's over $100. But the only problem neo has, you can send only decimals and you can't mine it, cause it was an ICO where you bought them at a cheap price. With LTC you still have the chance to mine it and hop on the train. Well its not a suggestion from me to mine it, I could fail with it, but well I have a rig left, so why not mining some LTC and see where it goes.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: January 15, 2018, 03:51:41 PM
Nothing can beat the Litecoin. Around this time some horrifying stories are everywhere for the same reason: To be able to buy cheaper coins. Litecoin will be around $1000  in April-may this year since there are some whales already started to come in from tomorrow on.

The same as I think. 1000$ for LTC will be achieved in Q2. 2018 will be the year of LTC and probably ETH. BTC can also achieve a nice raise, but will probably not go higher than 40k at the end of this year.

I guess so, litecoin already made a big jump on 2017 and 2018 i think will reach 2000 dollar before year ends. Going to be on top 3 again in the market soon.

Thats true, is there any development coming up, which will increase the worth of the coin? I didn't know the coin was still that cheap in 2017 I'd have definitely bought more, but you never know. At the moment I'm all set for ltc, mining on zpool and getting the coins instantly exchanged to ltc. I don't know why but at the moment I don't like btc at all, too much fees, confirmations takes too long, maybe thats why its Litecoins turn now.

Hashbag.cc is a good pool for DNR as well.

I find that my ccminer stops working with some error if I use Hashbag and I didn't see the same behavior on yiimp.eu.

Have you ever experienced the same thing when mining to Hashbag?

Are you on the latest version of ccminer 2.2.4? You can get it here https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases and I don't have any problems mining to hashbag. Whats the exact error you get, maybe we can help you and what does your start.bat file look like

Yes, I am using 2.2.4.  Something about an illegal instruction I think, that flashes and repeats in a yellow color very quickly.  I'll try and screenshot it later. -i set to 19 in the hopes that might help.  To be clear, I connect, it mines fine for an hour or so or more and then crashes out.  1080 Ti cards TDP set to 60%, so not pushing the cards anywhere close to the red zone.

Same rig will mine away on EWBF for days and days without issue.

Is the eror an illegal memory access was encountered? It gets yellow and spams the whole command line with it. I could only find out, if I reset my Afterburner (OC) I wont get the error anymore. It was because I pushed the core too high. Maybe you should try to reduce the core & mem clock and see if you still get the error after 1 hour

Okay sounds great. I think i will take a look what i want because staking ist not that profitable. To get roi the staking "pc"

Staking isn't profitable atm anyway, cause there's still something wrong with staking, like you get way less than you really should get. But as carsen said, it'll be fixed with the next wallet version.

Does any of you guys know how long it will take to let the deposit show up on Stocks.exchange? I sent some GOA there to sell them, got 7 confirmations now, but it's still not showing up in their deposit history, if someone has some experience, tell me the time I can expect to wait

Ah okay thanks for replying. So The coins i stake its a problem If in mining to The Same adress? Or its Wayne ?
It doesn't matter, if you have an address (DZH) with 100 DNR staking, and you get a stake reward, you'll get it to the same address (DZH), that you used for staking. And you can still send your mined coins to the adress

E: Now I'm bit confused, I looked down at my Staking page and its like staking twice, even tho I only have it once.

I don't know why, but I dont feel its effective for me to mine. At the moment only altcoinix works, and I get there like no single share, maybe 1 in an hour, I'm using a gtx 1060 6GB. Am I doing something wrong or any tips? I actually really wanna mine this coin. Well with a 3,5m difficulty
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: STRONGHANDS - Community Take Over on: January 09, 2018, 04:04:53 PM
I try to solo mine this coin with with the ccminer and all I get is [2018-01-09 17:03:12] HTTP request failed: Failed to connect to localhost port 9050: Connection refused
[2018-01-09 17:03:12] get_work failed, retry after 30 seconds

9050 is added to my allowed rules, the rpcport is also added on my stronghands.conf

I like how stable the coin rises. The sad thing is that I have some bitcoins left on coinsmarkets and tbh I don't believe them anymore, like they're changing their servers all the time and paying out BTC is a pain cause of the actual confirmations you need it will take ages. Is there still any news about the cold storage, and will it be available to buy with DNR?

It seems that http://bsod.pw is down, I just saw that it gave me a timeout, is someone else also issuing this problem? I hope that they don't got hacked or just closing the pool and run off with all balances

Does it matter with what difficulty I'm mining this coin? I tried d=32 got some good results and when I tried d=8 I even get more shares accepted (low), so does it even make any difference to use 8 or 32? I got a gtx 1060 6GB in this case, and if I look at the blocks found, I still get the same amount
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GOA] GoaCoin - PoW, Masternodes, ASIC Resistance, NeoScrypt on: January 06, 2018, 04:20:51 PM
What is the actual market price of GOA coin at the moment? I couldn't find any details on coinmarketcap, the only reason I found this coin was crypto calculator which told me its worth it to mine, well let's see how far the coin will go :3

So I got some of my DNR's staked, what is the max stake you can get out of it? i had 0,00001 and then sometimes 0,00004 on what does it depend? And is there any way to extend my tribus hash power? crypto calculator tells me I should get about 39mh/s per gtx 1060 6GB, but I only get fairly about 30.30 somehow

I have updated my masternode possible profit chart..

Tbh I'm a bit confused with the spreadsheet you did, and why the different colors for it? Like what do you mean with collateral? And if I look in the first row it says MN price $18500 so I'd have to pay $18500 to be a masternode? I never got into masternodes that much, but it's something that really interests me
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.2.2 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: January 05, 2018, 12:14:51 PM
Hey,

I hope someone can help me I'm using ccminer and mine some DNR (Tribus) and I'm using 2x EVGA GTX 1060 6GB and get about 30,2 mh/s for each card. Now I also used the MSI afterburner and OC it a bit, but only reached 32mh/s, so I'm asking myself if it is quite good or are there any settings I could at to the .bat file to get everything out of my card. Using the following settings: -i 25 --cpu-priority=5

What is the value of DNR provided by?

I think the value of DNR is just provided by speculation, good development, masternode update in the near future, more miners than ever for DNR, low supply and if it all got mined, it'll end in staking, so you could be successfull with that coin
