21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase Taking ERC20 Seriously on: April 14, 2018, 05:49:13 PM
The ERC20 tokens are the ones which are usually used by day trader due to their high volatility and drastic fluctuations which means those are the tokens which will always have high demand in the market.
Now that Coinbase has accepted most ERC20 tokens to be available to be traded at the exchange platform that will attract most of the traders towards them and bringing it closer to greater milestones making it the choice of most of the traders.
Just a nice marketing strategy.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Is fall of bitcoin from 16k$ good for bitcoin and alt-crypto? on: April 14, 2018, 05:43:50 PM
Fall is always good unless one decides to make it worse by selling their investment while bearish. It allows the people to invest more or even the newcomers to invest when the market is bearish. It filters the people who do not belong to the crypto community and allows newcomers to check if they fit in. It is good for bitcoin and altcoins too as more investors purchase them, increasing their demand and growing the community and raising its value through the demand and supply factor. So fall is pretty much great for every cryptocurrency and the people connected with it.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: The EU wants transparency on Cryptocurrencies on: April 14, 2018, 05:35:06 PM
Regulation of cryptocurrencies is indeed an issue faced by the majority of countries governments as they just find it as a threat as cryptocurrencies can be used as a tool to hide loads of black money, save one from paying taxes, utilization of those currencies in illegal activities could increase resulting in an indirect way to the lives of the common people. If some centralization is done to the crypto world then that would help the government to at least keep a track of where exactly is bitcoin actually circulating and allowing them to minimize its usage for any dark activity.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will ICOs die? on: April 14, 2018, 05:23:59 PM
As soon as no more people are ready to INVEST in NEW projects or coins by the fear that it might turn out to be a Ponzi scheme or scam or won't be able to survive in the market or by any other reason, They just stop giving out money to the ICOs, only then would one come across the demolition of ICOs. Cause as long as there is money gained to any of the party, be it the team who are on that project or the people who are investing in it, ICOs will be running just fine without anything to block them given that the projects are legit.
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falling is not a bad thing. on: April 13, 2018, 08:07:37 AM
FALLING. It is not at all a bad thing, in fact, it is a necessity. It should be occurring from time to time. As that will help everyone who is in the community or planning to be in the community. It helps the people who are already in the community by making them realise that do they actually belong to it, do they have the patience, faith, belief and the courage to be with the community and stand strong at times like those and filters out the ones who cannot keep up with the drastic fluctuations therefore, it somehow cleans the community. Whereas the people willing to join the community get a golden opportunity as the value decreases and they get the best deal to become a part by investing in it.
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 13, 2018, 07:39:00 AM
By the end of 2018-
  • Michael Novogratz - The former Fortress hedge fund manager predicts that it might reach $40,000.
  • SAXO Bank predicts it might crash (later in 2018) but reach up to $60,000 before crashing.
  • Dav Chapman - The CEO of Octagon Strategy predicts it to reach up to $100,000.
Whereas,
Tom Lee - A wall street strategist expects it to reach $25,000 by 2022. As it reaches nearly 18k last year thew 25k prediction sounds just okay but there are chances that it would occur earlier.
From the above "predictions" bitcoin by the end of 2018 could be anywhere between $25,000 - $100,000.
HOPEFULLY.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did china ban Bitcoin on: April 13, 2018, 07:24:16 AM
China has banned only the ICOs and not the usage or circulation or anything close to bitcoin. They haven't legalized it either. The condition of bitcoin is mostly the same in most of the countries be it China, India or most of the other major ones who contribute a lot in the bitcoin community. They do not recognise bitcoin as a legal tender and warn people that it could be a bubble and advise the people to stay away from it but on the same time they do not completely stop people from interacting with bitcoin and the crypto world either.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: Future of crypto ? on: April 12, 2018, 05:31:33 AM
Yes, indeed the future of cryptocurrencies is bright because they currently have been gaining more and more support as more and more people have started to realise their potential and the cryptocurrency era won't come to an end soon. In fact, it has just started and there is a long way to go. There are possibilities that the banks and other services that act as the middleman, to survive launch their own crypto as the popularity of the crypto seems to rise like rapid fire.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Photochain? on: April 11, 2018, 07:39:39 PM
So, Photochain will ultimately make the life of photographers easier and eradicate the middleman allowing the photographers to get what they deserve for their talent or art. But the ones who get benefited by the photographers, The middlemen won't like that to happen as a major part of their income would stop. They won't like it and as they are the ones who have money, with their money power they won't let this project be that successful. This concept is really great but it is not foolproof and would be better if there are some advancements made.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin fever coming back? on: April 11, 2018, 07:28:39 PM
Bitcoin has been facing issues with the governments since its last year's astonishing rise. Not only bitcoin but other cryptocurrencies too. There are people who wish to invest in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies but have backed up and are waiting for the time for all the issues to get over and they get a green signal from the governments to invest in it. SO that has somewhat affected its craze among the newcomers and also has forced some of the old investors to totally sell their complete bitcoins. If it gets support from more countries then it might be a possibility that its demand increases and its fever comes back!
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm afraid to create my own ICO on: April 10, 2018, 06:50:56 PM
Before creating your ICO work on the project on what exactly will be your aim. What purpose will your coin have and what issues it might solve which will ultimately attract more investors towards your project. So what you can do is work on the goal of the project and also help the developers as an adviser.
Learning developing is an option too that would require a lot of patience and interest but enter just for the purpose of making more money without the required knowledge is a bad idea.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Price of bitcoin vs other coin. is this right? on: April 10, 2018, 06:42:28 PM
The price of bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency is never fixed with respect to any fiat or other cryptocurrencies. The factors that affect the cryptocurrencies make fluctuations in the values of those currencies altering the equivalence of that particular crypto with other cryptocurrency or normal currency.
So there won't be any fixed equivalence of any cryptocurrencies whatsoever.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin price ready to touch the moon..?? on: April 10, 2018, 06:34:02 PM
Opinions really don't matter here, what matters are the factors that affect the price of bitcoin and help it rise or become the reason for its fall. Opinions don't have any effect on bitcoins value and whether it is ready to touch the moon or not, just cannot be said and will it ever again touch the moon or not, time will tell.
So don't waste your time gathering useless opinions, invest your time and energy researching about new ICOs or projects or research deeper about bitcoin.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for best way to store bitcoin wallet long term on: April 10, 2018, 06:18:34 PM
For storing bitcoins for the long term it is really important to keep in mind that the bitcoins should be stored in a wallet which never gets HACKED and is not accessible to anyone except the owner. These points are fulfilled by any Hard wallet that is available in the market. You should also keep in mind that even after storing your bitcoins in a hard wallet the main task then would be just to keep the wallet safe. Some of the great hard wallets are Trezor and Ledger. Ledger offers three different types of hard wallets according to the user's needs.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Listening To False News... on: April 09, 2018, 06:40:33 PM
Nowadays people have become more aware of the news they hear about bitcoin. Most of the ones who get trapped in these kind of news are the ones who just believe everything they see on the internet and believe that its true rather than researching a bit of their own but those kinds of people are way too less as many of them have learnt from their mistakes and verify the news before taking any actions. News like these will always exist and continue to be in the future it should be our own responsibility whether or not to fall for those FAKE news.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will start going up ? on: April 09, 2018, 06:36:25 PM
Time will tell. No one actually can predict what exactly will happen to the market in the future. The value of bitcoin cannot just be predicted as there are numerous factors that affect its price and fluctuation in any of those factors even by a bit results in the change in the value of bitcoin. So, will bitcoin rise or fall, Only time will tell. But yes, One factor that affects bitcoin the most is its Demand which increases during the holiday seasons as there are a lot of HOLIDAY traders that enter the market for that span of time and affect bitcoins value, mostly help it to rise!
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is everyone just HODLing? on: April 09, 2018, 06:31:18 PM
The ones who are holding are not the majority of people. They are just the people who thought they have missed the boat and have invested after the last year's bitcoin price hike. The ones who have already made enough from bitcoin are using bitcoin for investing in new projects and also for their daily needs if their country has means to use it like a mode of payment. But for the people who JUST decide to hold it, they also somehow help in increasing its value as more and more people would try to get into the market in the future and due to bitcoins limited supply, the demand will increase resulting in an increase in its price.
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do people think that they can time the market? on: April 09, 2018, 05:55:45 PM
These people just "predict" things not actually sate whats going to happen. They do so by all they have researched in the past and have studied the technical analysis. So, that gives them a bit confidence in what is going to be the future of the market in a given time. But the people just making baseless predictions by making predictions based on their past LUCK experiences are just going to realise soon enough that no one can time the market and luck is not by anyone's side every damn time.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government fears Bitcoin on: April 08, 2018, 06:36:06 PM
If bitcoin ever becomes the worldwide accepted cryptocurrency as a mode of payment, It will diminish the middleman system resulting in loss of many rich people who just get richer by stealing peoples money through banks and these are the same people who support the government, or more appropriately control it. So, there will always be fear, Fear of loss. It is human nature that he will do anything to prevent his loss and due to that cryptocurrencies have so many restrictions in most of the countries whereas the countries which actually do care on the betterment of peoples standard of living have accepted bitcoin! There are indeed a lot of disadvantages of decentralisation but the advantages weigh more!
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FRESH VISION OF BITCOIN on: April 08, 2018, 06:23:31 PM
For what all you just said it could all be true, bitcoin could replace the current money and become the worldwide accepted solo currency. But if that is a possibility then bitcoin completely being eradicated by the union of all governments and together they plan to attack all virtual currencies in order to completely diminish them or make a worldwide accepted, centralized, solo virtual currency to replace all the currently existing ones.
For all we know that bitcoin has brought revolution in this world through the block chain technology and there will be some impact if not huge on the wealth system sooner or later.
