I was mining and holding ETH waiting for the price to rise, meanwhile BTC price is climbing, I realized that I loosed a lot of opportunities to make some good profits.
So I decided to sell my ETH for BTC when it crashed during BCH fever. Now BTC is up again, if I buy ETH again for BTC i will get more ETH so will make some good profits.
I placed a buy order  a little higher because I think BTC will continue upwards.

I bought only one Vega 56 in order to test it, 1940 H/s stable on XMR since 3 days now.
Damn, if only I bought more when it was on sale...

I took the Gigabyte Z270P-D3 when it was on sale, about 65$, tested with 6 GPU without any issues.
Maybe can handle 7 GPU using the m2 connector, didn't test.

You will need a Pico PSU in order to power the motherboard + cpu + hardrive.
The question is which 4U case are you using? If it's a Rosewill RSV-L4500 for example, then I don't think the huge Delta 2400W PSU can fit in this case.

I used to log every day using teamviewer to check for temps.

But I'm lazy, so I coded my own custom tool in order to monitor my rigs, check if they are online, show hashrates, show 24h profits per rig, temps, fans, send custom alerts ...
Since it's my tool, everything related to rigs is hardcoded (rig ip addresses, miners for each rig, alerts to send for each rig)
I have a dedicated screen in my office which displays 24/24 a single web page :

Yes they are the same, I have some "Black Edition" ones.
So they have 1 8pin, stay cool and have really low consumption, best 1070 I have.

Your CPU is not compatible with the motherboard, I'm surprised that no one noticed that.
Just replace it with a Celeron G1850 or Pentium G3260.
You will need DDR3 RAM too instead of DDR4.

Server room with AC of course, ambient air 21C, rigs in server cases inside a 42U rack, all GPUs below 60C / 30% - 50% fan speed

If I were you, I would diversify and buy few AMD GPU rigs, Nvidia Rigs and some ASICs (Antminers D3, L3+ and S9).
Don't rely only on ETH, with Nvidia rigs even if the price will be a little bit higher, at least you have a lot of coins to mine.

It's a laptop, forget about mining, you will just lower it's lifetime for a negligible profits.
Not to mention that you can't mine much coins with 1GB of RAM.

New to forum but mining 6 months ago.
Currently mining ETH with my AMD rigs and holding, I think price will go up in next update.
Switching between ZEC and SIGT on my nvidia rigs.
