21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back above $6k on: October 31, 2017, 05:45:44 PM
We may expect to see a major correction of price. I also hope bitcoin will grow but the sudden rise of trice must go down don't you think?
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Maximum supply can be increased? on: October 31, 2017, 04:35:42 PM
Currently we are seeing a lot of bitcoin forks and attempt for hard forks. Those forks are coming with some new features or lifting some limits of bitcoin (by their claim). So my thought here is, can bitcoin maximum supply of 21 million be raised with hard fork with the support from majority of mining community? How may that affect the bitcoin economy?
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe that digital currencies will replace Fiat? on: October 31, 2017, 04:22:29 PM
It's not like bitcoin and fiat is a rival. As USD and EUR are not rival, not any other currency is against one-another. It is also true that no currency lasts forever. I see a future where multiple currency may exist. Where bitcoin is a means of payment and exchange just like any other fiat currency. We will just have to wait and see..
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who do you think will compete with Bitcoin? on: October 31, 2017, 02:59:30 PM
I was going to write monero, but after reading the other posts and thinking about it, I also think that just another crypto currency might not be able to compete with Bitcoin if it does not have a real use like ethereum that enables smart contracts. It is really a game changer and have a potential to become the biggest micropayment platform for developers.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Segwit2x impact Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash or both? on: October 30, 2017, 06:22:11 PM
Segwit2x may impact bitcoin if it comes without reply protection. It will not directly impact Bitcoin Cash but may indirectly affect the price of bitcoin cash a little bit. It all depends on what kind of support s2x receives.

27  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: October 19, 2017, 09:16:15 PM
If the people would have known the benefit they would get even from when the OP posted this post, they would kill to get their share of bitcoin haven  Wink
I am hoping for bitcoin to be like a regular cash. So if I can spend my bitcoin like any regular cash anywhere, then there is no need for me to sell it for any other currency. So hodling and spending directly for commodities.
Of course I expect the price to go up much much higher.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC profits on: October 19, 2017, 05:02:39 PM
If there was a recipe for getting 5% profit everyday, why would there be a band and interest in the place? Other than income from a job or something, any other business or trading involves risk and the much you want to gain with your investment, the more risk you would have to take. And the risk almost always increases exponentially with the amount of expected return. But if you really want to make your money on the cryptocurrency world, trading might be your best choice and it is risky too!
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold and Segwit2x upcoming forks on: October 16, 2017, 05:51:55 AM
I am worried about segwit2x because they claim that it is the real bitcoin so they did not include reply protection (that can disturb bitcoin chain in some way). Bitcoin should stay the way it is now and not be influenced by some corporate contracts but if majority of mining power is on their hand, there is chance that they can damage the original chain to make way for their new chain. We should wait to see what happens till then and I would stick to bitcoin core because it IS the real bitcoin.
30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC effect on altcoins on: October 15, 2017, 06:31:58 PM
Alt coins are almost entirely traded based on bitcoin and when most of the investors want to buy bitcoin at one time, they tend to sell their altcoins to get the BTC. That's why we see Bitcoin rise with altcoin dip. Also when bitcoin crashes, averyone in panic, so alcoin dip is there too..
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: October 13, 2017, 04:21:49 PM
Why not imagine both of them cooperating together? When the bank accepts bitcoin fully and is a mean to store bitcoin safely. We would all benefit from that!
Still with the high transaction fee of bitcoin, I do not think it will be the only day to day currency of everyone.
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits all-time high on: October 12, 2017, 05:38:43 PM
I think bitcoin will continue to grow at least until the hard fork is here. Because many people are buying bitcoin now for the dividend from bitcoin fork.
Other than that bitcoin itself have much more potential to grow by itself. Other than the transaction fee on the coin, I like everything of bitcoin and hope it will be mainstream one day.
But bitcoin is still volatile. So it will see many ups and down in the future as it did before.
33  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Mining with bandwidth on the Blockchain for Crypto on: October 11, 2017, 05:53:12 AM
Should be a really interesting service. Looking forward to know more about this..
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 10, 2017, 05:55:05 PM
There is always two types of people, even financial experts that are divided in this thought whether or not bitcoin will gain and survive in the long run. So depending on who you are getting advice from, you will really get his prospective on the bitcoin future. It is really up to you to decide how much you want to invest in the bitcoin knowing there is some risks involved. But you should not invest much more than you afford to loose. Personally I think bitcoin will see much more gain in the long term.
