A lot of investors actually got rich because ofnethereum and that proves that it is really good for a long-term hold and investment. I would love to have it as long as the prices are cheap and hold it until the market fully recovers again. I swear, that's the best choice to do. |

Yes, I will and I have done it before. Some may believe in me and some doesn't but I accepted it and just showed them that I am earning through it. It is important because it is another way to attract more investors and traders who will trust cryptocurrencies just like we do. |

Brand new to the cryptocurrency market. Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC. It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it. I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019. It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin. I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future. Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product. Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere. My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years? I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside. Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC? What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?
I have nothing against BTC. I don't see it going anywhere. It is the giant. However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Both are profitable but I guess ethereum has gone through a lot and Ltc would still be needing to reach and achieve more as ethereum did. I want to hold both because both are good for a long term hold and choosing is not being wise I would rather hold both. |

Why not? If you believe that it is profitable then why should you doubt about it? Some icos are actually profitable when it succeeds. They even offer good freebies which would be useful for us to hold. Just be wise to choose the best ico because some might fail if the developers are inactive. |

As for me, it is actually a coin which is good for a long-term hold. I have been holding and having ethereum for a series of long-term hold. I guess that it is best for us to trade when the prices are high. If we'll sell during this dip, we might just lose our ethereum. |

now we are on deep red period. some portfolios may drive in to 70% loss. but do not sell please hodl.
=if you sell during dip period you face great loss,
= this dip is for temporary , market correction on the way
=if you have a big portfolio or small try to Hodl with TUSD.
=if you newbie do not get panic , this is normal situation, we have had faced these types dips 2016,2017,2018

I agree that the market is really in dip but I believe that it isn't a reason enough for us to give up. However, we could still do something by being patient. We can't control the market situation but we can cope up with the possible changes. |

That would surely be a risk for you to take. You better have an alternative job to reach it. There is no easy way to earn especially during this dip. You might lose your money as well if you can't handle it well. Just try to be smart about handling your earnings. |

No it isn't risky becsuse there are lots of good coind which is out of those 100 top currencies. It is because some developers are active and doing things just to make the projecys andbit's platform hit the best target. We should also trust new potential coins. |

the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.
But i'm a little investor (500$) and i'm seriously thinking to put all my money in only 1 project I think is very good which curretly is in the top 40 of altcoins. I don't want to say the name because my topic wants to be very general: what do you think is the risk by doing so? Should I invest in 2 or 3 coins instead?

I believe yes, it would be too risky for you to try since you are entrusting your earnings in a single altcoin. What if it fails? You might lose all your money as well. You better look for another altcoins to invest with or try to find another remedy just to assure that you'll still gain anything. |

Few days ago i added by someone into crypto pump channel on telegram. They claimed that recently they have done many pumps and all pumps were successful done and on 29th August they were about to create huge Pump on binance. But nothing was actually happened on 29th. I lost around 0.04 BTC in 5mins.
So guyz be aware of these kinds of channels.
I don't usually believe in pump channels in telegram because there are actually fake people and fake channels in telegram which we should be careful of. It is important that we have enough knowledge about what we believe in. Better choose cryptocurrency sites. |

To some extent we can predict if bitcoin is going to recover before before December this year but I doubt if ethereum and some of it tokens will recover before December. Before December lasy year, when bitcoin is getting pump ethereum will also be getting pump but I see bitcoin going up now and there is getting dumping.
I believe yes like it did last year. We all know that ethereum has it's ability and potential to rise and give us a good value. A lot of investors are buying now because they believe that ethereum could bloom and might surprise us anytime soon. So I am holding and buying as well. |

This is for those who use wallets with cheap transaction fee, such as ethereum based wallets.
There are some who cannot yet afford to purchase a hardware wallet. On that note, i have a suggestion on how your wallet can be safe from hackers. I have always noticed wallets that get easily hacked are those that are subject to public view.
Try as much as possible to have a separate cold wallet address that you do not copy and paste the private key, and neither do you share the address with anyone. You can use it to store most of your valuable coins.
Even if you want to transfer any coin or token to an address belonging to another person, first transfer it to your public wallet before sending it out.
Keeping our wallets safe is so important especially if we're transacting most of the time. I think it better if we'll keep our private keys safe to get rid of being hacked. We should also just entrust it in people whom we only trust the most. Havkers are smart but we should be wiser than them. |

Yes, it is actually possible since we all know that ripple has a big potential as well. It has reached the target value of some holders before and it even exceeded. We must also remember that even bitcoin started with the same price. Let's just wait for the best value of it and let's see how it will going to bring big changes in crypto world. |

The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.
What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?
I have the same experience as well. In my long time here in crypto world, I have signed up and joined a lot of airdrop but still ended up with nothing. Some of them are not paying enough or most of the time they are not paying anything. This thing is so disappointing. |

Base on what I observed, since market turns red and I think this the best way to invest in altcoins because I’am positive enough it will go up sooner when bullrun hits the mark this bear months. Do you also plan to HODL coins for so long? Your ideas are pleasurably accepted and do you agree to invest now or maybe later?
You better choose to invest as early as possible because there would never be an easy way for you to earn through altcoins but through buying while the prices are low. Don't waste the opportunity to buy during the dip because it would be a better and easier way for us to have a good gain. |
