Bitcoin payment processing startup OpenNode has rejected a $1.5 million investment gesture made by Roger Ver.

The company, which exclusively supports the Bitcoin payment protocol, confirmed that its vision of a better and more open financial system could not be achieved with Bitcoin Cash, adding that it would spend 100% of its resources on Bitcoin and its second-layer payment solutions instead.

6 digits won't be impossible, if BTC will surpass the marketcap of gold. People may treat BTC as a currency, used for everyday exchange, buying anything on any local or online stores, but for me: it's a store of value, a new era of stock market. You can't buy a pizza with BTC yet, especially when there is a long line waiting on the counter. Amazon won't accept it too because of its volatile nature, businesses would have a heart attack with the sudden up and down of the price if they accept it.

@OP, what about Jamie Dimon and Warren Buffet? I never heard anything from them this 2018, I wonder why they became silent.

For about a year of my existence on this forum, only Vod and digaran's signature caught my attention.

If only theymos would get rid of the ICO Ann bounty, no more signatures for them and no more posting of social media links, the problem with spam could've been solved.

There will be no split. It's just an update/upgrade.

@OP, I never knew that there will be an upcoming fork. This might be the reason why ETH maintained its value at $100-150, who knows, it might go up to $200 again.

I will reiterate what damberg have said. According to coindesk;

"the developers assembled agreed on block 7,080,000 on the ethereum blockchain as an activation point at which users would be able to elect to upgrade to the new code. Put simply, should users choose to accept the change by upgrading their software, the update would go live when the block is mined.

According to estimates by release manager for the Parity Ethereum client, Afri Schoedon, this means Constantinople is expected to go live between January 14 and 18."
