21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be aware that the government and the haters envies your progress on BTC on: June 01, 2024, 09:35:53 PM
El Salvador is an exceptional case with clear vision in their mind and a better future for their people but other leaders are not visionary as majority of them wants to milk all the money out of their people in the name of tax and also wants their people to stay struggling and you can take Nigerian and Indian government as an example of how they want to supress their people and wants to control everything. Not all government are crypto friendly there are only few.
Those who are not friendly with crypto are not yet aware that crypto will be a way out of various kinds of crises and inflation that continue to occur.
As in Nigeria which needs more good economic development and free from extreme inflation that occurs.

But if they shut themselves down and just want to oppose bitcoin, they will lag behind other developing countries.

El Salvador is an example of a country that makes more profits with Bitcoin and could build their own bitcoin mines.
This is the corrupt countries can’t see, they only see Bitcoin as a threat without them making any research about it. May countries are already making profit with Bitcoin taxes and I can’t see any big reason not to accept Bitcoin especially if you want to let your people handle their own finances. I believe banks are working so hard to prevent this from happening, as if they can’t afford to compete with Bitcoin because its decentralized.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What wallet or xchange to use for xrp? on: June 01, 2024, 09:23:24 PM
I sent 20 xrp from poloniex to an adress but i checked on the blockchain and there is 0 balance after 2 hours from transaction, noting was received.
Also it says "Inactivated address".
The receiver should do something to activate the adress?
on poloniex it says "processing"

First, did you send at the correct address? If it says inactive address then you might need to activate it first but since you already processed the transaction, then better to ask the support on if you can still get the money since most of the site says that if you send at the wrong address then it is already your fault and the site is not responsible to it.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any meme coin challenge bitcoin in future ? on: June 01, 2024, 09:12:56 PM
Is it possible that some meme coin might challenge bitcoin in future ? Why or why not ? I personally feel that though we may see some mem coin making it really big but it will never be at the level to challenge bitcoin.
They can always challenge Bitcoin but of course, Bitcoin will always prevail.
I didn’t see any project that can replace Bitcoin and seriously, we are here because of Bitcoin and staying on top is like our ways to be thankful to Bitcoin. I know there’s too much hype with the meme tokens but for me, they will never be on top of Bitcoin.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Becomes of Gambling if Sport book is taken away. on: June 01, 2024, 09:02:50 PM
For real I think yes cause a lot of persons including me only bet on football related games and very rare do I participate or bet in any other sport feature, why i do this is cause I grew up watching football and its the only sports I have much information about, you can look at a feature and without any statistics you know who would win or what to play, so yeah without football sport in gambling im off, and I guess much numbers would follow.
It will be a big loss to the casinos as many are into sports betting and yes, there’s a big market for the Football.
I don’t think the government will banned the sports betting or even its commissioner as this is already in the market for decades, if you are a bettor and into that sports then better to look for a site where you can place a bet safely.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Committing mistakes helps us to become a responsible gambler. on: June 01, 2024, 08:53:21 PM
This may not be good to hear but I agree on this because we can’t learn without experiencing mistakes and it gambling, this might be a costly mistake and I’d hope we’d learn from this. We have to be more responsible in gambling because we are just protecting our own money and also ourselves from falling into a trap of addiction, and if you don’t learn the big lesson from gambling, then you might become more greedy and addicted to it.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kicking/banning and or limiting a player for winning too much on: June 01, 2024, 08:41:11 PM
I think that it is hypocrisy on the part of casino owners not to allow someone on a winning streak to continue gambling, but it's ok to allow a serial loser to continue gambling. This goes to show that they're not happy when their customers are constantly winning their bets and keeps coming back to win more, I guess they're just like other shrewd business owners who likes to collect from others and feels bad when they have to give out. The only justifiable reason why I feel that they do this is because in most gambles, you bet a little money to stand a chance to win so much more, it's mostly not a 50 50 situation.
Winning is a big threat to casinos itself, and if you are winning most of the time it can be a red flag to casinos and seriously, this is happening and some are just doing this discreetly as they limit your account without you noticing it whole some site are doing this while informing you. The casinos have the right to do this as long as it is on their terms and conditions but if its not, then that casinos is suspicious. Winning too much in casinos might trigger their alarm.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Launchpads are profitable in terms of investing. on: May 31, 2024, 05:21:44 PM
No matter how low or high it is, it is still profit, and it is up to us traders or investor on how we would take advantages of those free coins that we get by staking.
I always hold my reward for few days or till I am satisfied with it's price, then sell it to add it on what I stake to earn more.
This must be done to qualify and it's not that small money, in some exchanges it requires a huge a month just to be more profitable with the launchpad.
Binance is the top option for this and if the project will have their launch in Binance, many big investors are rushing to stake to qualify and this is the big challenge for retail investors because they only get small and some amount are not worth the stake.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Always Be in an Uptrend? on: May 31, 2024, 05:14:16 PM
Since the launch of a bitcoin exchange-traded fund earlier this year, bitcoin has recovered and even surpassed its all-time highs set during the 2021 bull run. But for weeks, it looked like the largest cryptocurrency was trading sideways at best.
It will not always be in an uptrend position, and you have to look for its historical trend.
The good thing about Bitcoin is that we always have the opportunity to buy again especially during the bear market. A healthy market will always have its downtrend and that is normal, we can't expect Bitcoin to be on top always or else liquidity might not be good if the price stays on top.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme Coins Resembling Lotteries in the Crypto Space on: May 31, 2024, 05:00:04 PM
Meme coins thrive on speculation and hype, their prices are driven more by sentiment and social media trends than by fundamental value.
I've been reflecting on my approach to meme coins, and it's become clear to me that their hype-driven nature has become my guiding principle. Essentially, it's become a case of "follow the money" - whichever coin has the biggest marketing budget, that's the one I invest in, aiming for quick gains. It's a rather blunt strategy, but it's yielded results.

Were you able to chase the hype? and hows it going so far?
This is the riskiest strategy dealing with the meme tokens and seriously, following the money doesn't guarantee anything and because of the hype, you can't be so sure that you will make money too. Be more cautious with meme tokens, not all are worth it and they usually have the budget for big marketing purposes because they need to reach huge market and some of those meme tokens after doing this becomes inactive and rug pull the funds from their investors.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understanding the Emergence of Crypto Gambling on: May 31, 2024, 04:47:26 PM
What I like about crypto gambling is the privacy since we don't need to provide personal details like debit and credit cards payment do or even fiat. Crypto value our privacy as a bettor but the only thing here is that when we create accounts on gambling platforms I think that will always require KYC. Fully decentralized casinos are I think telegram casinos though I haven't tried one yet but some say it is risky as well.

Yoir right crypto has helped innovate thigns a little, not only has privacy been increased but problems of funding your account from anywhere in the world that crypto is not banned you can do that seamlessly and easily without having to worri about bank networks or all those headaches.
Also, you can access crypto casinos every where in your country as long as it is accepted and you're allowed to.
Crypto gambling change the game of online gambling and seriously, many are into crypto gambling for the purpose of anonymity and they don't have to prove anything with regards to their accounts unlike in bank that you need to explain where you get the money and most of the banks online are not allowing deposits from a casinos.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A list of lucky casinos in crypto on: May 31, 2024, 04:28:34 PM
I'm curious if this kind of data will encourage gamblers to pick the top number one.
And don't you think casinos will allow users to hit the jackpot now and then so they rank up on the list of the luckiest casinos?
This will be hard to know and bias can also happen here. Winning the jackpot on a site doesn't mean that's the luckiest casinos.
Even if you will rank those casinos, how can we know it's reliable and can work with us too. Luck will always depend on the gambler's faith, if you are meant to win then it will happen on any site, just don't expect that much and you can be good. There's no list with this so far, though you can see a good list of lower house edge casinos.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: May 31, 2024, 04:14:36 PM
I'm betting for the Bolts pre-game as i would not want to see an all-smc teams in the finals hehe.

Just right on the money mate. Meralco beat Ginebra with the final score of 78-69, just a total of 147 points combined, so the under also won it. Meralco are just too much for Ginebra in this game, and Ginebra looks tired with their short rotation, so Meralco deserved this win.

It's good to have a different teams fighting for the title this conference and at least the rumor of having a scripted match will be lessen.
They already have the schedules for the finals and hope to watch the live games and also have some bet. With the consistency of Meralco this season, I think they are more prepared to get the title but that will not be easy as SMB are also eager to get another trophy on their collections.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are your meme bags doing? on: May 30, 2024, 09:44:41 PM
I don't play long with the meme tokens and i just invest if there's a good hype and then sell right away to take profit.
I've been following the meme token since then and I'm a scalper since i just buy if there's an opportunity. To those who are holding meme tokens, what makes you hold such long? I don't think meme tokens are meant for long term holding because of its risk but of course it is still your choice to do so.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🚨Be careful with Shuffle Crypto Casino. Im Worried about Shuffle Casino Staff. on: May 30, 2024, 09:34:08 PM
OP Shuffle Casino's representative has posted his comment on this thread and I believe that's more than enough to prove that they aren't unreliable as a casino. I believe the leaked data which you mentioned in your thread were leaked from somewhere else instead of Shuffle.

If you haven't KYC approved your accounts on other sites then your thread may have some weight but if you have KYC approved on other sites as well then you can't blame Shuffle because your data could be shared in another site's breached data.
Definitely hard to tell who leaked the data, this is the risk of KYC and seriously you can't just blame one site alone especially if you've done KYC many times already. Losing in a casino and making a false accusation is a not a good attitude, you might not be able to gamble in a good site again if you will do the same thing. If you are still not ok with KYC and don't know the possible risk of it, then better not to give any information to any site asking for KYC for your own peace of mind.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Work From Home or The "Laptop Class" is Immoral or Not? on: May 30, 2024, 09:26:55 PM
I think productivity is probably less at home, people will be more likely to slack & not work as hard if they don’t have a boss or management peering over their shoulder in an office. It’s not something I’m keen on & if I had a business I would prefer my employees to be in the office where I can keep my eyes on them.
Not unless you set a target for your every employees and seriously, working from home can also help you become more productive because you have your own time space to do your task and usually, those who are working from home have their job done on time. I do prefer to work from home and there's a lot of companies who are offering this option, I guess this has been the trend. Though of course it is not for everybody as other companies prefer have their employees at their office and guide them physically.
36  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your preferred method of converting bitcoin (or other crypto) to fiat? on: May 30, 2024, 09:14:17 PM
I know this question has probably been asked a bunch of times before, but with the ever-changing crypto landscape, I'm curious to hear everyone's latest thoughts.

What method do you find most convenient and cost-effective for converting your crypto holdings to fiat currency? CEXs, P2P, Debit Cards... ? Also curious if any new or up-and-coming techniques are on your radar.

I do convert crypto using the exchanges or P2P option most of the time and this is more convenient to us since it can also be sent directly to your bank account using our local crypto wallet. You have to explore your local exchanges to know if you have other option because in our local wallet we have a lot of option to convert crypto using a centralized platform. P2P can also be your option, though its more risky especially if you prefer to look for this outside the market.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greediness or Addiction -which one is more disastrous? on: May 30, 2024, 09:05:16 PM
If greed does not work in someone, he will never become addicted to gambling.  Because the lust of winning something big from gambling makes people gradually addicted to gambling. When someone uses gambling only for fun, he can forget about gambling because there are many fun tools around which he can enjoy life.  But when the greed works in him that if he continues to gamble, he will win something very big at one point, he will gradually turn into a deep addiction to gambling. So I think greed is the most dangerous thing
Being greedy is the start of getting addicted into what you are doing, you might not realize this one but slowly you will turn into this especially if you gamble continuously with greed. Addiction are more disastrous as this is already the result of your greed and when you are addict a lot of negative things can happen in your life, and the worst part is giving up that easily because you can't control your addiction anymore.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT ARE THE AIRDROP CRITERIA WILL PAY US? on: May 30, 2024, 08:55:20 PM
Nowadays, airdrops are often used in crypto exchanges. In addition to the standard trading strategy of investing one's finances, airdrops, which involve giving away free coins or tokens to users of public crypto wallets to advertise a new digital currency, can generate huge profits. Blockchain-based companies utilize the use of these crypto wallets as a marketing strategy to encourage users to use their platforms. So what are the signs that an airdrop will pay off?
There's a lot of things to consider and even if you have the data, there's still no guarantee that it will pay off.
Bounty hunter are participating with the airdrop with a lesser expectation because they know that qualifying to get the reward is not that easy anymore and getting a value to that is also a big challenge. If there's a good exposure for that project, and the team are focused on making it grow then you might see a chance for it's value but then again, better not to expect and just continue to participate on many airdrop.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People keep asking me to borrow money, some of them for betting on: May 29, 2024, 09:56:52 PM
I can agree with your stand here. These days, if someone borrows you money, most of the time, you won't see it coming back as per arrangement. Very rare that you will see a person who will respect your agreement and will pay on time as promised. There's nothing wrong if you will say no to people. Because if it will ruin your budget and you will be the one suffering from it, then, better be straightforward rather than say yes, but you will suffer afterwards.
This is why its better to be more private and tell the public that you’re broke so no one will attempt to borrow some money from you, though the delay of payment can be situational but still asking for a money for betting purposes are not ok and if you let them borrow, it looks like you are tolerating them as well so better so say No and stay focus on your own finances and peace of mind.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEER 🍻 MEMECOIN, will this narrative fly? on: May 29, 2024, 09:37:15 PM
We love Beers and it’s a meme token, once there’s a good hype and a big community you can expect for a pump. It’s hard to tell if a meme token will fly or not because it’s all about hype and we can’t predict the hype because we created it. If the team behind that reached a huge market, you can expect at least a good pump. Remember to be more cautious with the meme tokens because the risks are too high.
