21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: full-time cryptocurrency on: April 01, 2018, 02:29:34 PM
Yes if you have no bills to pay and grow your own food Grin
It all depends on how successful you are at day trading. You can't rely on long term hodls if you need it to pay for your daily life otherwise you might be in for a spot of trouble during the next dump. The market always pumps and dumps, best to just bag some cheap alts now while you can

Highly agree with you we can't rely on btc or altcoins for daily life.Crypto market are so volatile and unpredictable and tho it's true that you can earn huge amount in trading but for assurance of your daily expenses montly bills and other extra cullicular activities you need a monthly income.

But it will always you(topic author) who can make a best decision and what will you profit more.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If people stop buying bitcoin on: April 01, 2018, 02:15:55 PM
What will happen if people just stop buying bitcoin? Will bitcoin be as usable as now Or will it be a step towards the end?

How will the market value react to it, people wanting to sell bitcoin but there is no one to buy.

if your goin to base on btc's history i highly doubt this will going to happen. We can just simply put it in the law of supply and demand and how this thing will happen if lot of people are demanding Bitcoin.tho, let's just say it happens suddenly i don't think bitcoin will be gone in cryptomarket maybe it can lost its value but surely it will always going to have a buyer.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: History of bitcoin prices! on: March 31, 2018, 03:50:47 PM

Time                   price per BTC     Importent information

July 2010             $0.08               The price grew 900% only In five days, rising from $0.008 to $0.08 for 1 bitcoin.
Feb – April 2011    $1.00               In that time Bitcoin took parity with US dollar.
8th July 2011        $31.00             At this time top of first "bubble", followed by the first price drop.
Dec 2011              $2.00               At this time goes minimum after few months (huge dump)
Jan 2012               $3.41
March 2012           $4.95               over 46,000 BTC stolen by Linode Hacked
July 2012               $13.31            Bitcoin Savings and trust halts payments.
Jan 2013              $13.31
Feb 2013              $20.22              Starts some pump.
July 2013              $100.15            great pump.
Jan 2014               $772                700% up within 6 months.
July 2014              $582                 Some down again.
Jan 2015               $272                 Huge down.
July 2015             $289.68
Jan 2016              $432.17             some up again.
July 2016             $688.50
Jan 2017             $1020.47           Starting golden age of bitcoin.
July 2017               $2592.41            proved a golden age.
18th Dec 2017        $19,498.63
Jan 2018                $10,685             Again huge down.

From this chart, we can guess the future of Bitcoin price. We should not worried about the present bitcoin price. I think 2018 or 2020 will become a diamond age of bitcoin. What is thinking? you can also post your opinion on this thread.

Thanks for sharing this statistics mate.  bitcoin really show its votality from $0.08 to its highest hit it really shows and proved that btc is not a scam or bubble. That's why bitcoin trading and investing are not for greed people cuz when you invest in btc u must completely understand its votality. Long term patience, hodling is a must cuz panic selling in bitcoin has no place and it can lead you to failed investment.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: March 31, 2018, 02:56:59 PM
Bitcoin was launched in 2007. It's 10 years and still no country has approved Bitcoin ??   Huh

and in 2018, 2nd richest man "Warren Buffet" said "bitcoin will end up badly"

Are you sure? No country has approved/legalized it? Think about Japan who are one of the most progressive nations of the world, has already legalized crypto currency. You can now pay tax using bitcoin in Arizona, USA. Even European union didn't say no to Cryptocurrency, they are indeed maintaining a positive stance towards Cryptocurrency. The latest addition to this list is Israel who had legalized Cryptocurrency and imposed 15-25% tax rate very recently.

There are countries like Canada who are strictly against ICOs but generally positive about cryptos. India neither banned it nor legalized it, they have taken the midway. So majority of the countries are not negative about bitcoin.

Israel is the first county to adopt Cryptocurrency in 2018 and I am sure a lot of other countries will join the party this year.

Well, this is a good news for people like me then. Adapting cryptocurrency is not bad at all.For me, it really showed developments on countries who already saw the good advantages of BTC.Besides BTC has been here for 9years and and it gained so much attention not just on famous people but also with average people.
25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: March 30, 2018, 03:59:33 PM
So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

Invest it on stable business and apply all the things you have learned when you are still in trading. I remember my friend says  to me if you take risks on something you should swallow all the descipline, patience and lessons you must and need. I see that u lost so much btc but i can assure you that the expierences you get in trading is much more important.
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: March 30, 2018, 03:54:25 PM
When do you decide to sell?

Is it a sat, a % of profit, or even a randomly thought up number in your head?

I am new to trading Crypto, but when I traded other stocks, I would aim for a certain percentage.
This seems much easier to hit that percentage, but much more risky.

How do you determine when to let it go?

I always set an amount when to sell. Sometimes i get terrified everytime the market goes red but i have to descipline muself and trust the amount i am aiming whether it will take long or short period of time.

post your prediction now!!!

EDITED:
Please vote for your prediction range @ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3167130.0/

Natatandaan ko pa., Last year ang predictions ng lahat dito sa forum aabot lang sya ng 5k usd Sa December 2017.
Tapos biglang pumalo sya ng 5kusd bandang bermonths pa lang everyone was so shocked even yung mga professional traders  na pinafollow ko YT hanggang sa mahit nya yung 21k nitong december last year. What im trying to say is BTC is indeed volatile and unpredictable. Hindi natin alam baka bukas paggising natin green na ulit ang cryptomarket at ang BTC 30k usd no one knows dba? Kailangan lang talaga natin maging handa at tiwala lalo na sa mga Altcoins natin.
28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: March 29, 2018, 12:47:09 PM
So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

Be positive! I have watched multiple Video clip about the sudden changes on crypto market and everyperson i have watched keeps on saying we must hodl cuz the possiblilities of Bitcoin hitting the moon is true and we need to make sure that were still part of it.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Peoples behind Cryptography. on: March 28, 2018, 03:57:03 PM
So lemme refresh your minds. I've seen lot of posts about the market going down but i've never seen a posts about the beginning of cryptography late 1980's

are you familiar in Cypherpunk Movement?
Basically, these are the group of people activist advocating a strong used of cryptography and privacy-enhancing technologies as a route to social and political change.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cypherpunk

how about david lee chaum? He's a computer scientists who became famous developing Ecash, Invented lots of cryptographic protocols and founded Digicash(an electronic money corporation).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Chaum

Yea.. Cryptography are really on the move late 1980's, beside Satoshi Nakamoto there is more interesting people behind Cryptography and Ecash late 1980's.

Share your thoughts about this.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin affects students' performance in school on: March 28, 2018, 03:32:10 PM
As far as I can observe being a teacher, I am definitely happy that my students are involve in cryptocurrencies and they earn for themselves and help their families. But, their school perfomance is getting worse. Please give your thoughts how will you help students to earn and at the same time it won't affect their school works?

I don't think crypto currencies are reliable of their performance, They always have a choice they can even sort things out and be organize on handling both study and crypto stuff. You can give them a piece of advice that it's really good that they have knowledge bout crypto but they shouldn't set aside school stuff.
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without knowledge on: March 28, 2018, 01:42:10 PM
A lot of people do trading even if they don't know nothing about it and some people succeed on that but most of them failed.
One of the reason why I think they do that, is because of GREED which can result to a big loss for them.

Start with education, make a lot of research, do some practice trading online
and use it later on in real life. Don't rush to earn money because in trading its hard to do so.

Are you a trader in mind but scared inside?
Be more patient, develop your emotion and win in this market.

This is really true. New traders who thinks they should do 'Cut loss' cuz they feel terrified everytime the market goes red is not a trader at all. I remember one professional crypto trader said When you trade you must expect 100% lost cuz you dont know when ur coin's gonna hit the moon. So for me Research, analyze and take risks must have  everytime the market goes down.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the biggest misconception of Cryptocurrency in your country? on: March 27, 2018, 05:19:41 PM
In my country very few people understand what is it and how it works. Most people think, it’s not gonna last long. But positive thing is, BTC is getting much more attraction these days. People are at least asking questions.

agree with you, last year when I was talking to my friends I opened up few things about blockchain and bitcoin and they are just like *oh cool* *that's nice* then changed the conversation I end up feeling ashame then learn how to basically ignore and not to speak again about BTC., and guess what last month 10 of my friends keep asking me what is BTC and how it works; haha i just say it is so complicated for me to explain go to youtube and google and study about it. It's really funny tho for me, those who believe that Bitcoin is a scam and whole blockchain thingy is just a bubble, scheme or whatsoever they should go back in late 1980s  and read some articles about cypherpunk movement, David Chum and people who had been studying cryptography back then.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What is the biggest misconception of Cryptocurrency in your country? on: March 23, 2018, 04:33:54 PM
Here in my country they thought bitcoin is just a scam only few people can fully understand what is blockchain and crypto currency so everytime they will hear bitcoin people will say you should stop that because its a Scam.
How about you? What is the weirdest thingy you heard from people about bitcoin or crypto currency?
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy when market is Red on: March 22, 2018, 01:21:50 PM
Buy when market is Red, a trick to successful trading. Also dont put buy orders ahead of time.

yes!very old technique but can play the game really well., Just keep in mind that you should always be aware and smart when choosing what kind of token your planning to invest. You also should know the price and amount you are targetting so you won't get disappointed or scared what will happen everytime the market goes down.
35  Economy / Speculation / Re: panic or to be calm on: March 14, 2018, 05:48:38 PM
the more days the bitcoin price slumps down, how do you think, whether the price will stabilize or it will keep falling down ,, seems like I'm getting scared Angry

I think we should be calm., the only reason we get so panic when the Crypto market goes down is the chances of losing all money when spend on a certain token always remember what the Pro says only invest in something you can afford to lose and make sure you studied a lot before investing in it. I know BTC price will surely hit the moon again at the right time. Meanwhile, while we're waiting let's watch and read news about cryptocurrencies updates.

Hi, I am stuck in ED right now. I need 0.001 ETH in order to deposit my altcoin and sell it for ETH and I don't have a single ETH right now. Can anyone lend me 0.0015 ETH? I'll pay back the amount I borrowed plus the TX fee that you used.

Please delete the thread if it's not allowed here.

I see there has been getting a loan, that's good. If you want to find a loan. I can help you. PM me if you need to.

Hmm $1 loan, I guess I'll take this risk. What address?

Thank you very much. I sent you my address via PM

I will send an update here once I received the .0015 ETH from you so that other people won't send me more if ever.

Nvm I thought 0.001 was the loan amount and 0.0015 was the return amount (where 0.0005 being the interest)

Oh.. I see. I never thought of giving an interest. Well, if that's the case I can payback 0.002 + tx fee for 0.0015 that you will be sending.. I just really need to sell out my token from Etherdelta.

Alright sent, https://etherscan.io/tx/0xa2ac1de6c69023fa8ba9682f4a0aecc65c80dbc4c9035fa25ef853cd7e2c718a
