21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: June 12, 2018, 06:59:55 PM

Rekt......

searching for bottom or accumulation phase is ON?

buy cheap tokens for a good ride.

You should NEVER buy a coin just b/c it is low, you need to know the background of the coin first. Example, would you buy bitconnect (BCC) now b/c it is low right now?

Crypto like stocks become cheap for a reason and those reasons are NEVER good. TenX token daily volume is circling the drain. With ZERO market interest, how is TenX going to stop this trend lower? Please don't say COMIT, there are MANY startups working on inter-chain operability. TenX's claim to fame and the reason people bought into it was the crypto to fiat payment card. With Visa & MC non-support that is now history.
What's the PAY token price if BitCoin drops under $5000? We may soon find out.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Officially sank into the .70's on: June 10, 2018, 12:11:36 PM
Well were down in the .7x's now...at least there was some good music in the 70's.
Oh look, there's another "meet the team" video...what a surprise!
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Why is TenX so America Obsessed? on: June 09, 2018, 01:19:21 AM
The U.S. SEC Chairman gave TenX a pebble of hope stating BitCoin is NOT a Security but they didn't say what it is.
They didn't say it's a currency or really anything else.
However...
Germany has labeled BitCoin an "Alternative Currency" so why doesn't TenX concentrate on that Markets like that?
Why hold back your product because one market is still figuring things out.

Your argument doesn't work, if you look at previous Tenx video, Julian has stated that Tenx is not security according to their lawyer and they needed extra time to finalize their finding, this was last year. Just use your common sense, why would Tenx never implement the token rewards? It is b/c it is security.

My post states the SEC deemed that BITCOIN is not a security and never mentions TenX's PAY token.
ALL coins and tokens with an ICO past will be labeled a Security including PAY, Ethereum, etc.
But the POINT of my post is that America is still figuring all this out and TenX is just waiting for the rules to be finalized.
The problem is this could be a long wait. Other Markets like Germany might work RIGHT NOW.

EVERY TIME Windows 10 does an automatic restart for a system update the Diamond QT Wallet Blockchain DB gets corrupted and I have to replace it with a backup.
I also run Syndicate and BeanCash QT wallets on the same computer and they don't suffer this problem. Next version fix?....please!

the downtrend continues

it seems to be a lack of new investors

$85,000 Daily Volume is pitiful.  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/minexcoin/

27% for a value that has been divided by 4 in 3 months, you still loose a lot of money and parking rates didn't move a single time in almost a month now. It's perfectly normal that some people complain.

as far as I understood, MNX parking rate is now final, there will be no special shifts.
70% yearly is planned rate. if you calculate all the others you will find the same rate.

27% Quarterly x 4 = 108% yearly + Quarterly compounding.
Reminds me of BitConnect.... HEY-HEY-HEY!
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Where's the NEW Token reward structure? on: June 05, 2018, 01:19:33 AM
Remember when Julian promised details of the new PAY token reward structure "in a week or so"...  Well, WE'RE STILL WAITING!
What do we get in the meantime? MEET THE TEAM videos!
I get the new emphasis is on COMMIT but BlockChain Inter-operability is quickly turning into a crowded space.
I would rather see TenX take that ICO war-chest and merge with PundiX leaving the Crypto to Fiat Card concept FAR behind.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / TenX needs to CHANGE COURSE! on: May 23, 2018, 08:57:36 PM
the end is near - isnt it?  Grin Roll Eyes

TenX is currently doing nothing but sending the latest American Crypto Guidelines and "Possible Regulations" to their legal department hoping to make their project "legal" in the U.S. This is the wrong strategy and a waste of time since the U.S. will NEVER allow cryptos to threaten fiat based commerce.
They need to put America on hold and pursue markets where using Crypto Cards aren't taxed like an asset and can be competitive against regional Credit Cards.
BUT THEY WON'T... 50 cents here we come!
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: May 18, 2018, 05:27:37 PM
Tenx has been big failure. No wonder it rank 117th position. Tenx has failed to show ANYTHING to communities of what they have accomplished during past 10 months. Hiring new people and moving to new office, that is no accomplishment. If Tenx showed one screenshot of Comit or supported ECR20 Wallet or clarification with token rewards or SOMETHING, I would of understood, but that is not case here. They misinformed people (about token reward) from the start and frankly nothing has changed. ALL talk with NO substance. If you can't back it up with anything don't say it in the first place.

As I said million times before, I lost faith in Tenx and I'm just waiting to bail out. There is much better project out there. Personally Comit is not game changer since there is atomic swap available, even if Comit is available who is going to use it
+1
How can you say it is a failure when the deciding factor for that hasn't been determined yet? Furthermore they didn't "misinform" anybody, they were planning on having rewards until SEC came in and defined what a security was. If they had given rewards after that, the token would be in serious hot water right now and would be gone surely within a year or two. Atomic swaps are available but they are limited to a few blockchains right now, if TenX can implement COMIT before atomic swaps are on every blockchain then most people will use it as it will be a one stop fit all. I find it funny that you choose today to complain about Tenx as they got a prominent Bithumb listing Cheesy

Why is it my fault that they didn't do their homework before ICO. I remind you that they had $1 million dollars from angel investor before the ICO. They had the money to do their homework but they didn't.

Do you know the worst thing, Julian "LIED" to people about token rewards. He first said, token reward will be implemented in August then it was pushed back Oct but later he hinted there was Christmas surprise which turned out to be "PARTIAL" rollout of ETH. He later said that token structure will be out few weeks ago and nothing happened.  It is wrong for TENX to STRING people around. Most people bought Tenx b/c of token rewards.

Since 10 months, Tenx hasn't accomplished anything. I'm not talking about moving to new building or hiring new people. Again what exactly did they accomplished technically?  Not even Tenx supporter could ever answer this questions.

Going back to COMIT, why do you think it will matter in the end? Why is that Tenx is using Atomic Swaps? If they had trouble rolling out ETH, do you really have confidence that they could even rollout COMIT?

If you look back in my previous post I stated clearly that I want Tenx price to recover so that I could bail out this shit coin. I don't want another person to suffer where I did and held the bag for  10 months (counting). Do you really think I'm excited to see this price when it is still below ICO price. ICO ETH was 0.00286 and current price is 0.00198 ETH. Do you see the problem? If you held your Tenx token from the start (b/c you believe in the project like I was in the beginning) you got fucked where as swing trader made a killing. People who truly believe in the project got screwed while swing trader got rewarded. Shouldn't be other way around?

The TenX Crypto Card idea was great but we all got too excited about the project and naive about Governments protecting their state issued currency.
Even if TenX cards were shipping, using one with the "taxable event" designations make it a losing proposition compared to Credit Cards in America.
PundiX is riding high shipping Crypto Merchant Terminals to more accepting regions but they will face serious scrutiny (and maybe a Ban) if they ship to the U.S.
Meanwhile my PAY tokens sit locked away on a Ledger Nano hoping for a miracle.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / PundiX leaving TenX far behind on: May 13, 2018, 02:44:15 PM
1st thing I own both PundiX and TenX tokens...

PunndiX with their Crypto PoS Merchant Terminals is ON FIRE while TenX and their reliance on Visa or MasterCard network access is floundering.
TenX needs to change their model and convert Crypto payments to a stablecoin like Tether or bitUSD and tell the Big Card Networks to suck it!
Yes this means they will have to sell the system to Merchants but they have nothing right now.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: April 24, 2018, 01:41:13 AM
Hi;

Since "Visa" thing happened, this gateway option does not make any sense to me anymore. I guess Pundi X will be the answer. We will see.

Kind regards

PUNDIX!!!!!! I killed it on that trade (kept some just in case). Almost makes this TenX car wreck bearable.
Check out PalmPay.io too. Cool idea using instant conversion to pegged crypto using BitShares. Saves merchants from volatility.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Is Europe and Asia Markets enough? U.S. is dead by Taxes. on: April 24, 2018, 01:28:50 AM
It seems many American posters don't understand that Crypto is classified as an Asset in the U.S.
That means every time u sell it (buy something) its a Taxable event requiring a Capital Gains Tax.
Every American here should know this since we just filed our Taxes.
This classification makes using Crypto as a Currency an Acquired price/Sold price pain in the ass!
From what I've read Europe and Asia have labeled crypto an "Alternative" Currency so the TenX model
is still viable in those regions.

I get this.  What I don't really get:  If you trade for something of equal value, what would be taxed?

The problem is the Tax Man doesn't consider it a "trade". They say u are selling one crypto and acquiring another all within that one transaction.
Let's say I Buy Nano with BitCoin on an exchange. My Capital Gains Tax is from any profit between BitCoins value when I acquired it and when I used it (considered selling) to buy Nano. If the amount of BTC used was worth $375 when acquired and worth $600 when I used it in the purchase the $225 rise in BTC value incurs a Capital Gains Tax.

This CNBC article outlines Crypto Taxes: https://www.c[Suspicious link removed]m/2018/02/21/everything-you-need-to-know-about-bitcoin-and-your-taxes.html

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Did Asset Classification kill ALL Crypto Card Projects (U.S.) on: April 11, 2018, 12:20:27 AM
My thoughts are the U.S. Government's Classification of Crypto as an Asset CRIPPLES Crypto as a Currency and Crypto Card projects like TenX.
This means EVERY time u pay with a Crypto Card it's considered a "Taxable Event". U sold an asset (the Crypto) when it was converted to Fiat to pay the Merchant. So for EVERY transaction u will need the cost basis from when u obtained the crypto and the sale price (when TenX converted it) to figure any gain or loss come tax time. WHO WILL WANT TO DO THAT instead of using their good ole Fiat Credit Cards?

Please set me straight if I'm wrong or AT LEAST show me how TenX intends to deal with this.

...and yes I'm a TenX bagholder in the U.S.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Does TenX have options other than VisaNet and MasterCard? on: March 30, 2018, 12:41:14 AM
Actually EOS is my Largest Crypto holding.
Or Bitshares with a working product, real purpose and cooperations using it, also founded by Daniel Larimer and will be upgraded to the EOS blockchain.

The beauty of cryptocurrancy is loosing the middle man, but with a plastic card we do the opposite.

Most tokens hyped by bloggers and youtubers will go to near zero.

PundiX is producing Crypto dedicated POS Merchant terminals to accept crypto cards without the fiat conversion thereby bypassing the Big Payment Networks. I hope they catch on and applaud any business with the stomach to accept crypto volatility.
Radix demoed a card that can be used in any POS terminal to pay with their planned StableCoin....very slick.

Anyway...
Let me enjoy the Bugle Player perform "taps" as my TenX tokens circle the drain.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Does TenX have options other than VisaNet and MasterCard? on: March 29, 2018, 04:34:18 PM
The longer Crypto Cards are offline the more the "WaveCrest specific issue" story seems like BS.
Even if TenX gets their Banking License that just puts them in WaveCrest's position, still beholding to the Big Payment Processing Networks.
I wonder if Discover or AmEx might be more accepting to the Crypto world?

I'm still holding my TenX token bags (even added lately) but they're getting heavy without the resumption of Card operations.

I don't understand, why would you buy this useless token even if it is well below ICO price? Instead of buying this shit coin, you could of bought litecoin, OMG, EOS or even dodgecoin

Actually EOS is my Largest Crypto holding.

1. EOS 2. Omisego 3. BitCoin 4. Ethereum 5. NEO 6. ZCash 7. TenX 8. Ripple 9. VeChain 10. Substratum 11. Cardano 12. Ethos
Next additions will be Radix and Hedera Hashgraph when released.

The TenX project is a good idea but unfortunately relies on the cooperation of Visa or MasterCard and that is looking iffy at best.
Can they avoid the same fate as LitePay? We shall see....

39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Why spend resources on adding other coins? on: March 28, 2018, 03:02:20 AM
TenX should be devoting ALL resources into getting new cards out with a new Card Issuer and ZERO resources adding new coins.
A Crypto Debit or Credit card that makes Bitcoin usable in today's fiat world is all I want or need. Dash, Litecoin, etc. isn't necessary.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / What does TENX do if Visa, MC, Discover and AMEX won't play ball? on: January 27, 2018, 06:54:16 PM
What's TENX's plan if the big Card Networks(Visa, MC, Discover and AMEX) shut down any link to crypto?
I know Julian says Visa is still onboard, but are they considering the Wavecrest debacle.
Are there other Networks a Merchant Card terminal can access that TENX could use?
I'm keeping my PAY tokens for now but some stronger support statements directly from VISA would help.
