Hi everybody, I have a problem with new revision (rev. 2.0) of Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8G Windforce OC. I built over 10 rigs with previous GTX 1070 G1 Gaming revision (rev. 1.0) and also other nvidia gtx 1070 cards (EVGA, MSI, Asus) and I did not stumble upon this problem that I am having with new revision from Gigabyte. All previous cards had around 25-26mhs @ stock settings and around 30-31mhs with OC. This new revision has around 21mhs @ stock settings and 25-26mhs with OC. Tried with Windows 10 build 1607, Windows 10 build 1703 and Windows 10 build 1709 and also different driver versions (latest installed via Windows Update, manual install - 382.05, 382.33, 388.31 / everytime I installed new drivers I removed prevoius with DDU in safe mode) - no succes, I did not manage to increase hash speed, still 21mhs @ stock settings and 25-26mhs with OC. I have 6 same cards all perfoming the same so we can exclude that the error is on the graphics card. Does anyone have the same graphics and the same problem and was able to resolve it...? I'm getting little frustrated, I have already spent two days and I can not solve the problem  I also called the supplier today and they told me that there is a possibility that manufacturer locked BIOS for mining performance, because they make other models (same chipset) for mining, but mining cards have 3 months warranty and these have 1 year warranty - I personally never heard that before... Any suggestions would be highly appreciated...  |

I think there was only a notification during the last days of PoW. Not sure if you will get the coons back. Also be careful with the Sigt wallet as it was reported that it contains malware.
Suprnova admin unlocked my account (lucky me ) and I was able to transfer my coins. I installed Sigt official wallet but could not sychronize it - no connection at all times. I tried to add nodes in conf file but still no success, so I transfered coins to YoBit. I will wait for Sigt 2.0 and will see where to go from there... Btw suprnova admin sent me a message -> Pools are not banks ! WITHDRAW YOUR COINS - DONT LEAVE THEM ON POOLS !! -> warning for lazy people like me to be more careful in the future |

It's dead/closed, but you would of received warnings re closurer via email, u have no chance of retrieving your coins
I did not receive any notification about pool closing... Its closed because POW phase is finished month ago...but you should still be able to get your coins, IMHO
Thanks for info, I wrote them another email and I hope I will be able to resolve this issue... In the end it is my fault for not transfering coins on a regular base or set autopayment  |

After fork it will go up even more for sure... what do you calculate that the price is high? ico price 1 eth = 1100 ppp. it is now possible to purchase more tokens than 1 ethereum. So, price is below to ico price It is below ico price, there was one spike today (+60%) and it was at exact moment when I wrote that reply... I can see three spikes like this in recent history, strange orders on Etherdelta... |

Crazy volume increase and this volume increase happened before the so-called 'financial community' has started putting money in.... watch the fun over the next 12 months with hedge funds pouring in and on the other side, regulations coming up. Easily expect to see 3-5x prices across the board conservatively. If hedge funds start puring in some serious cash prices could exceed even more than 5x... Which coins are the safest bet for really long term hodl? I'm thinking about dividing my longterm portfolio between these coins: BTC (30%), ETH (30%), NEO (15%), OMG (15%), KNC (5%) and XZC (5%). Your portfolio looks like a good split. I assume you have done your research, since I do not know KNC and XZC at all. I have spread myself a little thinner over about 10-12 names, with NEO and XRP currently being high on the list. Yeah, somehow I forgot about Ripple  XRP is probably safer/better investment on longterm than XZC. Fixed longterm portofilo: BTC (30%), ETH (25%), NEO (15%), OMG (10%), XRP (10%), KNC (5%) and XZC (5%) I like ZCoin (XZC) because it offers anonymity and it can be used in conjunction with Bitcoin to secure an individual’s Bitcoins. It also has pretty stable value when there are no strange circumstances on the market... KNC - Kyber Network, I bought this when they had their ICO... When KNC came on Liqui it had over 2usd price (around 8x ico price) but I sold only 30% (to return my investment and get little profit) because I really like this project. One of advisors is Vitalik so team looks pretty strong and promising. If project will be done right, I think it could jump to OMG price range in the next two years.. I would give NEO bigger percentage (and maybe I will) but currently I'm not so confiedent about it because of China ban... I'm following the situation and will see what happens.. I wonder how many projects have Vitalik listed as 'advisor'. I'm sure a few even do that without his knowledge  ! Not suggesting KNC is not legit, but don't use Vitalik as a benchmark for anything except the shortcomings of his promises about the ethereum platform. I will check out KNC and XZC too. I invested in NEO around June/July at around $6. Since then I have seen the price go to above $45 and back down to $19 (following the ban) but never seen a single digit number again or even low teens. It seems to have shrugged off China quite easily, which is remarkable considering its a Chinese project. I should also add to my NEO, as my current holdings are very low of NEO, and my heart and mind are convinced of it somehow. Some others that maybe interesting to HODL - WAVES, Monero, Litecoin, BTX, SONM, SiaCoin (?), and a few others that I'm too stoned to remember now. Yeah I know, still I think Kyber is legit and I read a lot of good things about it... Check it out, it's cheap now to invest... NEO did a really good job for me too, I invested in Ant Shares when they were about 8usd and then I got NEO... I still hold it around 40% from what I bought - I sold some units and some I invested in Red Pulse (RPX). I think it is a great (and fast) currency, but still work in progress, so yeah it has a lot of potential and it really has survied China ban... Well looks like I will have to buy some more Litecoin and Waves are also great, I don't know much about BTX and SONM - will check it out. I have plenty of SiaCoin (from ethereum dual mining) but it's in downtrend for quite some time now... I think that STORJ did a better job at decentralized cloud storage, so I don't know... I also hold for quite some time now Gulden, Qtum, Tenx (pay) and Syscoin. |

Great comparison of 2016 vs. 2017. But I think the difference between 2017 and 2018 would be much less.
We are on different side. I think it would be the other way but I don't have a solid principle that would justify this. It's more on faith. With that, may I know why do you say so? I also think that difference will be similar or even bigger between 2017 and 2018, because between 2016-2017 mostly ordinary people started to invest in cryptocurrencies. I expect "big players" (financial institutions) to join soon... |

But, according to btcgpu.org Bitcoin Gold is for GPU miners. and that can really mine a lot of money using GPU's right?
How much money they can make with AMD RX580 8GB? Seems like a noob type question but really interested to know...  No reals informations about Bitcoin Gold mining. If Bitcoin gold is GPU mineable, the expected revenue will depends of the numbers of miners and the price of the coin. Do you have these information ? No. ou have to wait and see the "D day".
