21  Other / Meta / Are there proper template for ban appeals? on: June 01, 2023, 07:25:04 PM
Greetings, I was going to make a ban appeal post today, but I don't know if there is a proper template for making one.

Are there specific template for a certain ban like for ban evasion, spamming, etc.

I think having a proper template could make the mod can easily understand.

22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT OR MEMES on: May 30, 2023, 05:23:32 PM
I prefer NFT in terms of long-term investment rather than meme coins that only backed up by hype and speculation like SHIB and PEPE getting listed on Binance. NFT can have better utilities to compared to meme coins.
i might be wrong but honestly NFT is really bad for long term investment due to the fact that it lacked liquidity, the fact that it's unique on its own means fewer liquidty, meanwhile with meme coin, at worst scenario there are still some baggers that will to bag the meme coins which means better for long term.
for the long term, there is still a chance for NFT to get hype again, most likely in 2024 NFT will rise again,
but if you want to buy NFT, you should only buy altcoins that are in the NFT category, for example OGN, Mobox, or MANA,
because it has more potential to pump than you buy NFT in the NFT market. We should avoid Memecoin because of the high risk.

What a great idea, you have suggested it, and the ones you mention are examples of those who have adopted and have a good track record in blockchain NFT projects. another example of Phantom Galaxies created by Sandbox game maker Animoca. Even though there are more and more NFTs being born, if the user has taste and is selective he will find hidden NFTs that have good potential going forward whether in NFT Matic, NFT Ethereum or others.

I have exosama NFT from polkadot and the team is still developing new features. Recently, they had connections with polygon which add to their multichain goal. For more details, please take some time to read here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5396144.0

23  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - theyoungmillionaire u=1180530 on: May 30, 2023, 05:13:44 PM
@barlo357:

You've just admitted yet another UID is banned, so unless you are appealing that ban, you are engaging in ban evasion.

I'm going to appeal in few days. I hope they would unban me since it was my first time managing an announcement thread and I don't know spamming would get a ban without any warnings.

So what is your alt then?

Why don't you figure it out for yourself?

He doesn't owe you anything.

Should I tell him?
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Anyone Think Luna Will Recover? on: May 29, 2023, 08:57:22 PM
NO! It is like a meme coin now. With the actions made by Luna Team before, making a new token will not make them recover. Just another cash grab for them. Better stay out of it. Many people loss their money and don't let Luna team do that again.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid a scam project? on: May 29, 2023, 08:31:17 PM
There are so many new projects launching everyday and some of them can be good and some of them can be a scam as well. How can we identify it well? Perhaps we should have more discussion about it so we all can learn from everyone's experience.

You can use tokensniffer to get more details about the tokens. It will show the red flags that would make you reconsider to buy it or not.

Website: https://tokensniffer.com/

If you want more than tokensniffer, you can check their community, mostly on telegram and know more about it.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Join Pi Network and be a part of the crypto revolution on: May 29, 2023, 08:19:56 PM
It has been year since the pi network was introduced but the coin still has no value. With the huge amount of people mining pi since it was introduced, the supply would mostly be around a hundred million to a billion so don't expect that a single unit of it would be the likes of bitcoin and ethereum.
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spot trading or future trading which trading is best for beginers? on: May 29, 2023, 08:00:04 PM
Spot trading are for newbies where they can measure your abilities on using indicators without being liquidated. When you are a newbie and tried leverage trading, some platforms like binance will limit your leverage to low. You can also try other platforms that don't limit your leverage but be cautious since it would easily make your margin to be liquidated.

You can also use spot when you just want to hold and wait for the right time to sell without having a funding rate that will lessen your profit unlike on futures. That is why they position their long/short properly so they could lessen their funding rate once they close their position. The more leverage the greater the funding rate, a reason why those who has higher leverage closes their position as soon as possible when they are on profit and set another position when their targets are met.
28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason of why Bitcoin is good for trading (for me) on: May 29, 2023, 07:54:35 PM
It is good for trading since most crypto depends on its price also the trading volume of it on spot and futures is huge, so it is difficult to manipulate unless the whales are making a move that will affect the price action of bitcoin.
29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Choosing a cryptocurrency pair on: May 29, 2023, 07:47:03 PM
I always use USDT pair since it is always the largest volume compared to other stable coins like BUSD, USDC. With the situation months ago where some of the stable coins depeg, it is a bit alarming to use those. So, for now, even those issues with the stable coins that I mentioned are already fixed, I still find USDT a first option as a pair and as a temporary asset when I don't have any crypto to buy.
30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any point to start trading with 20$? on: May 29, 2023, 07:27:19 PM
Hello everyone,

I’ve lately been trying alot of different ways to start making money but something in me tells me trading could be really fun and exciting to get into. Unfortunately I can’t afford to invest much right now so I’ve managed to invest around 20$ to get started. I’d really appreciate if you all could let me know if what i am doing is worth it or am I just wasting time?

Kind regards,
Human

You can start by leverage trading. I started at $10, and I made it $1000 in few weeks by using high leverage. As possible, don't use max leverage, maybe a minimum of 20x will do. Learn technical analysis to position properly on both take profit and stop loss. There are basic indicators that could help you. I use bollinger bands and rsi but it is up to you what are your preferences on the indicators that you are going to use.

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT OR MEMES on: May 28, 2023, 06:18:54 PM
In my opinion, NTF and meme coins are just temporary hype, there are still many opportunities in the crypto world apart from NFT and meme coins, but it is also possible that you can benefit from NFT and meme coins, it's just very difficult because the opportunities are small

It's very possible that NTF and meme coins are just temporary hype. But there are also differences, for meme coins there have been many births every day, and for nft, maybe it's still limited, not as many as coins.

For now, I myself haven't decided whether to invest in NFTs, although we have seen many who want to join, whether institutions, companies or other well-known companies want to make NFTs, especially on the Polygon Matic network because apart from being a bit complicated, the cost for creators is also expensive, especially using the Ethereum network.

There are still NFTs that are still improving during the bear market unlike meme coins that come and go. I think it is better to invest on altcoins first that has an innovative utility then consider NFTs as a second option.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it advisable to invest on Solana? on: May 28, 2023, 06:11:46 PM
Does the FTX still has Solana holdings? LMAO! I won't buy it until the FTX still hold those. It would be a waste if its utility will not be use because the name of FTX is still glued to it.
FTX doesn't have solana anymore. It's has been dumping to the market. I don't know about vesting sol that probably still owned by FTX but it will be also seized by the regulartors if there are remaining sol that vested.

Investing in solana is good enough since there have been a lot of tokens already in ciculation.

I'm just making sure so that I would consider buying solana at its juicy price and make profits again when the time comes, but I think buying aptos is a better choice compared to solana.
34  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your favorite season to trade cryptocurrency? on: May 28, 2023, 06:06:58 PM
During Bitcoin halving where the bull market is predicted to occur where volume is high on cryptocurrency market. You can still trade when bull market is not around, but the profits is not as big compared to bull market. Currently while bull market is not around, I find leverage trading to be more profitable but with greater risk depending on the leverage that you set. If you want to lessen the risk just buy and hold the discounted prices during bear market and sell when bull market comes.

This scum is fishing merits back when I was active here. Starting from fishing merits and leveled up to fishing trust scores then ask for loan. His social engineering skills is good and made the legit loaners here gave him a huge loan. I envy this guy before for having a big post to merit ratio, but I feel something really bad coming after he is being persistent on giving him merit and asks me to delete his message about him asking merits. I don't really wish the best for him, and it would be great if he loses it all during the time of pandemic.

It's uncanny how close date-wise barlo375 and theyoungmillionaire's creation dates are:

Code:
Date Registered: 2017-10-02, 00:39:11 theyoungmillionaire
Date Registered: 2017-10-07, 13:11:18 barlo357

Both are from the Philippines.

Why post in a thread that's nearly three years cold?

barlo357 wakes up:

Code:
5/15/2020 1:33:23 PM woke up  	barlo357

and bumps this very thread that had been inactive for more than two months:

that guy is secretly fishing for merit on the time that he is still a Member rank. too bad that i cleared our convo back then

i'm also secretly being bitter on his merit count and thought of one day he will make a shady action

i hope you already looking forward and moved on on what happened to you

barlo357 only merits was to barlo_blake

Two weeks after barlo_blake UID was created, theyoungmillionaire changed their password

1/28/2019 8:27:54 AM password reset via email
4/18/2019 12:31:57 AM password changed

barlo_blake was short lived:

Not saying they are alts, but it's uncanny...

Bro Grin I commend your efforts on back tracking. This was my uncle's account and I introduced him this forum since he was unemployed. I told him to make barlo_blake (the name of his dogs) in case this account will be banned and use this to make appeal to the mods. He entrusted this account to me last 2018 to spot a paying bounty campaign but unfortunately during that time most bounty campaigns from ICOs are not paying due to some factors such as bear market, no investors trying to risk their wealth to ICOs (no softcap/hardcap reached means no value of bounty tokens, base from my understanding back then).

If you are asking why I'm not using my main it is because it was banned due to excessive posting on the ANN thread that I'm working on. It was my fault since I didn't read the rules when it comes to updating the ANN thread (as I remember, it was banned on mid 2019). Grin

I was also the one that post this way back 2020:
that guy is secretly fishing for merit on the time that he is still a Member rank. too bad that i cleared our convo back then

i'm also secretly being bitter on his merit count and thought of one day he will make a shady action

i hope you already looking forward and moved on on what happened to you

I remembered theyoungmillionaire is fishing merits since my uncle is the one that informed me about it. After waking up this account due to boredom (2020), I checked the messages and see the theyoungmillionaire's message on this account saying "muzta?" (He was asking how I was) and I'm just shocked that my intuition was right back then and saw theyoungmillionaire 's account with negative trust and saw this thread and reply to it. I rarely post during the last bull run since I'm doing full time trading on crypto but I'm still a silent reader on the forum mostly on altcoin discussions.

And yeah, after waking this account again (2023) for bounty campaigns, I scanned again my inbox and saw and checked theyoungmillionaire's account again and reply to this thread without knowing that I already replied to this thread way back 2020 until you back track it and made me remember that I already reply to this thread.

P.S. I hope you still get my point even my sentence construction is bad.

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New trend PEPE ? Seems many projects Launching with PEPE Names. on: May 27, 2023, 08:11:12 PM
Have you observed the significant number of project launches featuring the name "PEPE"? If you check the recently added list on CoinMarketCap, you'll notice that approximately 90% of the project names include "pepe." Lately, meme coins have been experiencing a remarkable surge in market capitalization. What are your thoughts on meme coins and the prevailing trend of pepe-related projects? Personally, I wasn't initially a fan of meme coins, but it appears that they have gained considerable hype. I'm curious to know your opinion on meme coins as well. Have you invested in any of them?

Same as the Safemoon before where most of the memecoins has a "Safe" prefix. Those unknown people who made meme coins with same pattern are too desperate to convince people that it would make the same run as the original "safe" coin.

The best not so legal thing to make money here is to ride the trend and be smarter than other degen traders who also looking profits like PEPE, SafePepe, SafePepeInu or other shits they combined.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before investing on meme coin or shitcoins consider this. on: May 27, 2023, 07:34:33 PM
Shitcoins are starting to gain hype so to avoid losing your hard earned money read this.

1. They are not created for long term most of the time shitcoins exist for short term and devs who create it will dump this because they move to their next project to avoid losing your money sell it immediately once you are in profit.

2. Never believe about devs promises since they are not really there to help you but they want to scam people and want o get rich quickly.

3. Be realistic and don't join the FOMO since this could lead up losing your money.

4. Never believe on people telling you to hold or even buy more they just want their target to get hit and for sure they will dump it without your knowledge so sell first before other do so that you will not end up chasing pumps to gain back your capital.

5. Most important of all became a smart investor and never doubt on possible profit which is not in your hands. Always be grateful on profit big or small since this could give you contentment and became always bullish on your investment.

1. It was just money grab made by whales.
2. Called themselves devs without having software engineering skills, maybe social engineering for how many gullible people they made exit liquidity.
3. The better move is to make your position early and if it passed already few hours, don't enter.
4. Diamond hands until the volume is going down which is a good indicator to sell out first before anyone does.
5. Unrealized gains are nothing until you sell and that is where you made a real profit.

Comparing it to SHIB, if it takes a few months of consolidation for it to bounce back to a much higher all-time high. It was a different time back then, so no one really knows, and it is for the market to decide.
