do i need to download and create a new wallet with a new address and send my coins to it before the fork?

i created a multisig wallet and now i want to create a watch only version of the wallet. When creating the watch only wallet should i select:

standard wallet
multisignature wallet

So gmail is centralized so doesn't that mean google can get into your gmail account if they want to?

Just wondering what most people here use for their email in relation to everything cryptocurrency, an encrypted open source email like ProtonMail or gmail?

I mean like once you've generated or used your private key online, the wallet is now a hot wallet right? You've exposed your private key.
With electrum you can generate and use your private key to send/sign transactions all offline. So you never expose your key, your wallet is a cold wallet. Myetherwallet can also do this.
So i just want to know if POS coins can do this too?

So your saying its absolutely impossible for someone to create a cryptocurrency where the total supply of coins are locked into some sort of smart contract or something where only a certain amount are made available and only a certain amount allowed for purchase per person per month or something. Impossible?

So we just go on for ever creating shit coin after shit coin or even the "best coin ever" and doesnt matter because it still ends up being useless because the majority of the supply is held in a the hands of a few people. Same as the FIAT world. 99% of wealth in the hands of the 1%

Why dont DEV'S think about a better way to distribute coins? Then the markets wouldn't end up in a mess.

So for example they always say there's just no fair way to distribute coins/tokens because there's always whales that want to get in on the project early and so they buy up a shit load of coins/tokens at the issue price which is really cheap, then the whales end up controlling the market, because they are the only ones who can dump a shit tone of coins and watch the price drop.

Cannot a solution to this problem be:

BUY LIMIT to how many coins/tokens can be purchased by an individual.

example: max purchase 10,000 SKY per person per MONTH.

When you sell BTC or ETH on an exchange (such as coinbase, kraken, bitstamp, bittrex etc) for USD does the USD get credited to your account on the exchange or credited back to your bank account?

I chose "I ALREADY HAVE A SEED" then "PLEASE ENTER YOUR SEED PHRASE TO RESTORE YOUR WALLET" then i guess the 12 words.
So its not electrum giving me my seed, i am trying to guess the correct string of words until they fit and the seed is valid and can open the wallet.
No the wallets were never funded and not active on the blockchain, but obviously they could be if someone creates the same seed i guess

yea ok so i understand the numbers are big. Im just curious about this, because i was able to unlock 6 wallets in just an hour of mucking around with random words in electrum. Of course all were unfunded with 0 balance, but I decided to post about it here because I wanted to understand more because it seemed ridiculous that i could do that. I was just guessing random words from the electrum wallet, on the 12th word i was just cycling through the "k" words, but accidently just put in the single letter k instead of a complete k word and it opened, balance 0. Your also right about those words honor, poor, quietly, take and ink are not in the electrum wordlist. Maybe the wordlist has been updated? Im using electrum-3.1.3.

Just mucking around with stuff and want to know why does this 12 word seed work with the last word being not a word and only a single letter.
Lets see who can get the correct letter first to open the wallet and see if there are 100 bitcoins inside;-)

Ok so do we now conclude that basically its easy as shit to guess a 12 word seed but near impossible to guess a 12 word seed that has been in use with a balance? Correct or not?

And in the "possible" future somewhat easier if there are 15 or so billion addresses in use with a blance...

How many possible private keys can electrum generate? How many possible combinations are there?
There are 7.6 billion people on earth, lets assume everybody had a couple of wallets.
Can electrum generate over 15 billion different keys?
